According to the Rockman Corner, in a recent "Ask Capcom" Q&A stream, community manager Brett Elston answered a question we all have been asking sometime or another; What's going on with Mega Man's 25th Anniversary?

"I feel like December's a good time. It also gives us time to focus on Street Fighter's 25th anniversary which is in August," Elston shares. "Yeah that's right; stay out of our anniversary, Mega Man weirdos!" jokes Seth Killian.

"But yeah, we'll most likely have something to say about the anniversary in December. But as to what it is, we're still discussing that," adds Elston. "We had a meeting not long ago... very much happening inside those walls."

No one's laughing, Seth. =P

I am very optimistic about this. It's a little disappointing that we aren't going to hear anything or get hints towards the plans anytime soon, but I suppose it's a good thing due to the more time taken, the better things should turn out. Please don't let us down again, Capcom! "Very much happening inside those walls" sounds very promising.

As for Sigma's Body Contest, time is short! The deadline is three days from now on June 14th. We have received a decent amount of entries. A good even number. Sigma will be most pleased...I hope. So if you still have an entry in production, try to get it in soon!

My expectations are already so low, Capcom will have to do significantly more than meet them if they want to regain my trust.

Capcom has burned so many bridges already, choosing not to burn this one without mending the others just won't cut it.
Short of announcing 'MegaMan X9' or releasing 'MegaMan Legends 3', any attempt to reach the MegaMan fanbase is utterly laughable.

As far i'm concerned, there is a big, gaping hole in my heart where the word CAPCOM used to be. Seth may be pretending to be joking, but until Capcom proves otherwise, it's safe to assume that "MegaMan weirdos" is how Capcom really feels about us. After all, actions speak louder than words.
