Most useFUL MM weapon thread Which Mega Man boss weapon from ANY series, did you really like?

The best one I can think of is Metal Man's "Metal Blade" because it makes short work of the first Wily Machine. VERY short work.
In X1 Chill Penguin's Weapon really makes short work of Spark Mandrill and Valguader, as does Flame Mammoth 's weapon of Chill Penguin. Storm Eagle's weapon on Flame Mammoth. Boomer Kwanger's Weapon on Sting Chameleon.
X2: Flame Stag's weapon on Morph Moth
X3: The Gravity Well from Gravity Beetle on Blast Hornet.
X4: Zero's flame saber weapon on both Cyber Peacock, and Frost Walrus, X's Split Mushroom Soul Body on Cyber Peacock. Both X and Zero's ice weapons on Jet Stingray. Both X and Zero's electric weapons on Split Mushroom.
X5: Zero's regular Z-Saber, and X's X-Buster (These guys were pushovers, except mainly the Skiver) Zero's Z-Saber on the Shadow Devil and Rangda Banga W/Lamda Bamda, X and Sigma's Gamma final form. Zero's Z-Saber or X's X-Buster on Dynamo.
X6: Zero:s Z-Buster on Blaze Heatnix and Blizzard Wolfang (Works WAY better than X's buster for some reason) X's Z-Saber on Nightmare Zero
X7: Believe it or not, Tornado Tonion's Volt Tornado from both X and Axl on Splash Warfly and Vanishing Gungaroo's ride armor ONLY (NOT on Gungaroo himself)
X8: Zero's Dark Mantis Weapon on Gravity Antonion. X, Zero and Axl's ice weapons on Vile and Burn Rooster. X and Axl's flame weapons on Bamboo Pandamonium. X' and Axl's electric weapons on Avalanche Yeti (especially Axl's weapon, because, when Yeti goes burrowing underground, you can point Axl's pistol down on the ground and shock Yeti and bring him back to the surface) Axl's ice weapon with the hovering move works good at breaking Seraph Lumine's annoying pre-Paradise Lost shields you have to shoot at to make them go away so so can actually damage Lumine. Zero and Axl's Dark Mantis weapons on Copy Sigma. X's Green Spinner on Optic Sunflower.
I'm sure there are more. These are what come to mind right now.

Cutmans weapon works quite well on those enemies that skim the floor.

The metal blade, which takes the challenge out of the whole game.

Top Spin (its just bad ass)
Shadow Blade (Not as much of a whoring tool as the metal blade)

Pharoah shot, this thing acts as a shield and projectile.

For instance...
In X1, the Shotgun Ice's spread recoil can be very useful whenever you get surrounded by a lot of enemies.
In X2, while not exactly "useful" you can have some fun with enemies by setting up traps with the Magnet Mine, and its also nice to get enemies in hard to reach places.
In X4, Aiming Laser is the same as Magnet Mine, isn't really useful either but damn! its a really fun weapon to fool around with.
And in X6, Metal Anchor? Summoning an army of Storm Eagles? It can't get more awesome than that.
X3, X5 and X8's boss weapons aren't useful at all in my opinion (overshadowed by X-Buster abilities), and It's been a while since I last played X7 so I don't remember them. And I don't wanna list the Classic series' weapons because I'm lazy, but if I had to name one without too much thinking, it would be the Nitro Wheel.

First of all, I like your avatar. Second, Shotgun Ice is pretty good, so I agree with that. However, X8 had a pretty beast arsenal. The thunder dancer, the drift diamond, the melt creeper?! Those weapons are awesome! And for each weapon that X gets that you may not care for, Zero and Axl get a different version of it, so there is a pretty good chance that you will like their version of the weapon, if you didn't like X's. That Ice machine gun that Axl gets is pretty damn awesome.
