A lot of users have been really friggin' indecisive about their name these days. Irgy got fed up and is letting members change it on their own now. Just keep in mind that if you've made a reputation on the site and change your name, it might not be the best thing for you. Also note that your actual log in name will not change.

Rules about getting your name changed:

1. You are required to put your former name in your signature or as your member title for at least a week or so. Or just post your previous identity here.

2. You must wait 90 days before making another name change.

3. Administration may alter your name if it is deemed offensive and/or a violation of the Community Rules.

Ah, oddly enough I was just thinking of having my name changed (although not necessarily on this site).

Anyways, might I suggest that if a member has their name changed, they perhaps be required to put their former name in their signature or member title for at least a week or so. That's usually what they do on some other forums I go to.

Actually, I was thinking of changing it to just TKZ. Y'know, keep it simple. But... If I don't have a good reason, I'll probably set a bad example for others :zeroexclamation:

The chat is linked to the forum, so I can change your name on the forum, and it will reflect on the chat as well.

I keep forgetting why I stopped using this version of my name: People tend to mistake me for German at times.

So uh, if it ain't too much, I'd like to go back to Irgy... err, on second thought, make that Irg. People are less likely to mispronounce it that way.
