About Me
Hey.. look. It's about me. Neat.
Hm. Where to start? Well, let's cover the basics. My name is Joshua. I live in duh Uhnited Statez of 'Merica. I'm a white boy, dominately Native American, Norwegian, and Irish, but I'm pretty much a mutt, lil' bit of everythang.
What else is there? Interests? Sure, let's do that. The Mega Man series is an obvious one. Of all the series, X, ZX, and Legends are my favorites, though really I pretty much like them all. I play a lot of video games, from pretty much any genre. Same with music. My main interests of those two are RPGs, Strategy/Tactical (like Fire Emblem), and both RTS and Turn Based Strategy games. Metal, 'Techno', Rock, and Hip-Hop are my main music genres, though I like pretty much any type of music except Country. I also have a strong liking for Orchestrated music in most forms, particularly ''Epic'' music (Two Steps From Hell, E.S. Posthumus).
I also am (or used to be) an avid roleplayer. Been roleplaying for just over 13 years now. Everything from tabletops, PBP, and other forms of online roleplaying. Simply, I think too much, and making characters and storylines is my outlet for the constant flood of concepts that take over mind throughout the day. Oh God.. so many damn'd characters...
I am a Christian. Wasn't always though. I was 'born' into it, my Dad being a pretty ''hardcore'' Christian, while my Mom was just.. uhh.. I dunno what to call her. I call her crazy now, but she's something like a ''half-Pagan''.. I guess. Anyways, I practiced Witchcraft for a little while, then became an Atheist, then after a few weeks of hard study and research (More than we can say for many people with beliefs) I came back to my Christian roots, and have never doubted them since. I like to think of myself as a more 'open' Christian than others, and I certainly do not follow the mainstream Christianity every Rev. Glittertooth seems to preach nowadays. I also have an interest in Shamanism, in an awkward sense.
I'm a cyberpunk junkie. High Tech, Low Life, 4 Lyfe.
I'm into a lotta physical type stuff as well. Not much sports, but parkour and martial arts. Slowly mastering both fight and flight, woot! I've been taught Taekwondo and some Karate (what ''type'' it is I was never told), and have started self-teaching myself some animal-style Kung Fu as well as Capoeira (..really hard).
