Get Equipped With SOUND HOLIC!
26 October 2012 - 05:01 AM
So not too long ago, independent music group ("Doujin Circle" if you want to be technical) SOUND HOLIC announced an arrangement album of Classic and X series music titled ROCKMAN HOLIC to celebrate the Blue Bomber's 25th. Just recently however, the full track list was revealed. And of course, like a lot of SH's albums, a Promotional Video has been released, featuring some pretty good animation to go with the featured track. This one of course being a battle between X and Zero set to said fight theme. Pretty impressive work if I do say so myself. Already being a fan of some of their work, count me hyped.
Without further ado though, click HERE to see the full track list and what songs will be included.

Rockman Gen- Er, Rockman Xover!
16 August 2012 - 04:01 AM

Capcom has just launched the official site for Rockman Xover (Crossover). As the image and name implies, it stars characters from all the many Rockman spin-offs and sub-series. Little other information is known aside from what's given on the website. What we can tell you though is that it's a "social RPG" that will be launched for iOS 4 in Autumn of 2012. The story has all the many Mega Men joining up across space and time against Dr. Wily, Sigma and other such villains. To help against this threat, Dr. Light and Dr. Cossack have constructed a new robot production model and scattered it around the world. That would of course be the player characters, which must work together to bring everlasting peace.
Overall the premise sounds rather similar to Rockman Online, which hasn't had much in the way of news lately. Has that game been canned in favour of this one? And like that one, will it see any stateside release? Considering Mega Man's less than well-recieved debut on iOS as is, things may not bode well for some. Either way, this is our 25th Anniversary game, folks. At least for now, maybe. We'll keep you posted.
UPDATE: Capcom has confirmed a North American and European release for a currently unknown date.

UPDATE: The Black, The Bald and The Ride Armour
12 July 2012 - 01:29 AM
UPDATE
Recently, Pixel Dan had a word with a Bandai representative. He explained that right now, the Ride Armor and Sigma are only prototypes (pretty good ones if you ask me) and that they're still working on licensing for them. Due to that, they do hope to actually release them! However, fan support is needed. Luckily, that's what MegaManX9.com is all about! So head on over to their Facebook and/or Twitter to let your voice be heard!

Sigma Figure Pic - Ride Armor Pic

Update: Added comparison picture for Sigma's stance in case some people missed it.
Over at the annual San Diego Comic Con, Tamashii Nations had this to unveil at their booth, which was then posted on Twitter. Where to begin? A black version of Zero Type 2, a fully scaled Rider Armour complete with Vile and Zero positioned to take it out and of course, the big man himself, Sigma. Looks like there's still plenty yet to come from D-Arts. Currently they're "display only", but according to sources at the convention, the Ride Armour will be going on sale at least.
Also of note is the props behind Sigma and below. It appears to be Sigma's final X1 form and that console of sorts the X-Hunters from X2 used. What it could possibly be for (if anything), we don't know for sure just yet. Still, quite the nice display. It's about time Sigma gets the proper figure treatment, I'd say.

Green Biker Dude Arrives Stateside!
14 June 2012 - 07:40 PM

Oh, and X too I guess.
I mean uh- Mega Man X2 has at last been released on North America's Wii Virtual Console! If you never owned or played the first of many sequels for whatever reason, now is an opportunity to do so. If you're lacking the needed 800 Wii Points to get it, Capcom Unity will be giving out a free 2000 points card to one winner. All you have to do is post in the comments of this article what your favourite X game is and why. Happy riding, folks. Just don't pop any wheelies in the middle of laser fire!

01 Oct 2012 - 16:45I have a question. In the forums some times, I noticed that it says at the bottom that Google is online. Does that actually mean Google? There is no member named it. How would the boards know who they are? Shouldn't they be anonymous if they're not a member? It's not a big deal. I just wonder.
