Posts I've Made
Yesterday, 06:50 PMI'll go ahead and post what I said in our PM's.
I wouldn't say it's affected my day to day life, really. Just my gaming life.
I still come to the site daily, although I don't post very often, partially because there has been a noticeable decline in user activity since the Legends 3 debacle.
Do I think Legends 3's cancellation caused the fans to stop posting as often? Yes I do. There were some people who left due to all the vitriol being posted everywhere (Phoebe Nocturne being one of those who left), and after the fans ran out of angry things to say, people simply started losing hope.
I can't say as I blame them. It's hard being a fan of a series that had at least one game a year coming out before, and now there have been two games that were canceled (MMU & MML3), then a third (Rockman Online), and recently, a fourth (Maverick Hunter). To top it off, for the 25th anniversary, the only games announced and/or released were Rockman Xover (which can hardly even be called a game, really), and Street Fighter x Mega Man, which was just a fan game that got finished and distributed by Capcom.
Now it's 2013, we don't know about any new games on the horizon, all we're getting is rereleases, model kits, and a crappy iPhone app that shouldn't even be referred to as a game. This, and the combination of Capcom's other business practices have made me a little bitter towards them. I'll still buy a game from them if it's well made and if it's from a series I like (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is either going to be a day one purchase, or purchased as soon as I buy a 3DS. Whichever comes second), but it's just hard for me to trust them anymore.
Yesterday, 04:35 AMI miss those days when Capcom actually took risks trying something new.
EDIT: I recently noticed a bit of a plot hole in X7. The only reason Red kept helping Sigma after Axl left was because Sigma was controlling his friends and said they'd never return to normal if Red didn't cooperate. So, by the time we actually fight Red, all of his aforementioned friends have been killed. Which raises the question, why the heck is Red still working with Sigma?
Yesterday, 04:34 AMSorry, don't know the fellow. But, 8/10 regardless.
20 May 2013 - 12:53 AMWait, how could he possibly know about her? I know she's the impossible girl, but she's met him too? (I wonder if it was a pony version of her?)
Umm, anyway, off topic, so...
Do video games exist in your world? If so, how do the controllers compensate for lack of fingers?
19 May 2013 - 03:40 AMSo far, I haven't seen very many complaints. Besides, most people who want to change their names back already know how to do so.
