The elevator slowed to a stop. Omicron was weary, however, of who or what might be on the other side of the door. Omicron's arm transformed into his Buster weapon, which he then aimed forward and braced with his left arm. There wouldn't be any point in sidling against the walls with a backpack full of stuff. If there was some form of resistance on the other side of the elevator, he'd just have to fight his way through...! -

Well at least I'm getting somewhere right now, Omicron thought. He didn't particularly care about the scenery right now. There was no point in dwelling on the people searching the area below either. Omicron was frustrated that he couldn't fully confirm his suspicion. But perhaps it was enough to get Kazuo to talk. For now, there was nothing else he could do but find a way to retreat. And he was becoming increasingly impatient.

Omicron crossed his arms and tapped his right index finger on his left arm. I suppose this is fast for an elevator like this, Omicron thought. Though the music was becoming irritating incredibly fast. He just hoped this ride would end smoothly and without complications. But given his circumstances, he wasn't letting this hope get to him... -

I love the mechanical touches they added. And that newcomer trailer was so badass. I only wish they had based him off of the Mega Man 7 and 8 proportions. But I can't complain after what I've seen. -

After he was sure the soldier's were long gone, the detective quickly ran toward the elevator. The words "Energy Plant" could only mean this elevator was connected to such a facility above. Omicron quickly found the elevator button panel, and pressed the switch for it to come to the ground level. Considering it was still there after just being used, the elevator doors slid open, allowing the detective to slip inside. Omicron quickly pressed the button to move upward, steeling himself for whatever this ride would throw him into.
