Posts I've Made
Today, 06:12 AMOmicron thought for a moment. "Not necessarily," he pointed out. "If the contents can be salvaged and scanned, then we might be able to figure something out. Also, knowing this book is old could be a clue. Can I take a closer look at the paper?"
Today, 05:46 AMAs they pulled the book out of the shelf to look, Omicron immediately remarked, "Oh, nope. That's no paper-cut," upon seeing the cover, well, covered in blood.
"So it's a 'Personal Log'...? I wager the contents will be as important as a DNA test."
Today, 03:52 AM"Simon Carida..." the detective spoke as he made a mental note. Omicron examined the shelf. Nothing stood incredibly out of place... That is, until he notice the minute patch of red on one of the bindings. "Hold on, I think I've found... I think I've found what looks like a bloodstain." He then paused for a moment, taking into account the size and the location. "But it could just be from a paper-cut."
Yesterday, 07:31 AMOmicron had not been aware of the room being opened, and as such, he was oblivious to this oddity. Even if he had seen it earlier, he was too preoccupied with learning the case details to take notice. He put his hand to his chin, thinking of where to start looking. After a moment of silence, Omicron decided that they might have to go to the basics.
The Chimera exposes malicious secrets, he thought. Taking that into account, the forensics team must have looked at his computer and records for anything suspicious. If they found anything, I'm sure we'll know...
"Well, let's take a look at what they didn't touch, then," he said. Omicron walked over to the bookcase and started to examine it. He had no idea what he was looking for. But hopefully, something odd would stick out.
Yesterday, 07:12 AMOmicron thought for a moment, taking into consideration the Chimera's apparent Modus Operendi. The calling card would be there to alert the authorities, but was that really the only place he would have gone?
"I'm willing to give the Curator's office a closer look," Omicron spoke, moving to the edge of the room in the process. He began to follow Dych to the office. "But I would like to examine the other rooms afterward. You may have found the calling card in the office, but that would be exactly what the Chimera would want you to find."
