27 November 2013 - 09:32 AMI'll put it another way: your character can only look as human as any other Reploid in the RP. Justifications such as "you can tell he's a Reploid if you look up close" won't fly here.
As a rule of thumb, the Far East division is the appropriate choice for Eastern Reploids.
The staff is currently debating the matter of characters with copy chips. If you insist on keeping this feature of your character, we'll need to suspend reviewing of your profile until we reach a decision.
('#_#) Well that's dumb but okay, I'm gonna have to rework part of the stealth part or make him visually boring.
So, I HAVE to go to Far East.
And that's fine, considering this character is literally not the same without the Copy Chip.
26 November 2013 - 01:51 AMYou described the character as "Six foot tall Reploid with removable armour and a human's physical shape underneath". The concept of synthetic muscles further emphasizes the concept, giving the impression of a MMZ-style Reploid. Please edit your profile to be more in line with the X series.
Also, if the character is of Japanese origin, he is more likely to be assigned to the Far East HQ than the Abel City HQ.
Command Mission Reploids are out of the question for copy chip use, since they were created after the first wave of the new generation series.
Human shaped because he's supposed to blend in with crowds. Looking up close would be a bit of an obvious difference. The idea was mainly that the Japanese scientists are experimenting with it ultimately being a failure simply because canon is at stake.
Does he HAVE to be Far East? I had put in the notion that he was going to Abel City (although for personal preference). I could specify that OR just leave him at Far East.
I figured second waves would either have blank slates or a selected few (like three different models for work reasons). :o
25 November 2013 - 01:04 AMThe items aren't a problem, but I'm afraid you'll need to rethink your character concept.
In this RP, all Reploids must look bionic to some extent. Some may appear more human than others, but they should still be recognizable as the machines they are. This means removable armor is out of the question (helmets are an exception).
Reploids also do not eat organic food. They run on Energen Crystals and possibly other energy sources.
If you want your character to be a new generation Reploid, you must specify which Reploids he can transform into.
Chiba does look bionic. When I refer to armour, I meant like, thick blocky stuff. He'd have to have SOME armour otherwise he'd be too human.
The concept of eating small quantities of food (or burning it) merely for the sake of blending in since this concept is mainly designed for blending in but that can be altered to be more bionic.
As for New Gen, I assumed many of the cheaper mass produced model Reploids which would be essentially his only means but sure I guess I could use a few. Although I presume I'd have to select a few badniks from X8 and XCM rather than just randomly create robos.
24 November 2013 - 05:42 AMWhat is with the pocket knife and mobile phone? Who in their right mind would design a reploid to utilize those things?
Helps for fitting in. Being human and such, which is his purpose; to blend in. Or at least he was designed that way. The mobile phone and pocket knife were just items he has.
