Still happy with my PSP 1000, thank you. Although I might upgrade to a 2000 if my 1000 ever broke down.
The only way that I'd even consider getting a new PSP model that didn't play UMDs or other hard copy media, is if they made one that had dual analog nubs/sticks. (and R2, L2, R3 and L3 buttons if possible)
Same thing with the DSi, don't need to get one of those until they get a heck of a lot of good downloadable games. Until then, I'm happy with my DS Lite. (partly because of slot-2, but mostly because they're cheaper than DSi's)
