I havn't played enough BN to really say much, but what I have seen in the anime so far I like the Fire Man fusion.

Im only just now getting into BN, at first I was reluctant because when it first came out I thought it was blasphemous.
Now I see its pretty cool, so I am currently working on the first game and watching the anime.

I'd have to say colonel soul cause the screen divide allows you to slash anyone anywhere (as long as you face the right direction), second is dark toad soul, with dark wide dealing 300 damage and the fact use it as many times as you want (providing you have good timing) you can earn SP and DS chips easy

Personally Roll-Soul is my favorite (No I'm not joking) It always made me laugh at how girly it looked but it was pretty strong if used right

I have a few favs

Thunder Soul is my all time fav. Paralyzing charge shot, all elec and non-element chips paralyze. It's so good for just pileing up attacks.

Wind soul. Takes of auras when activated, blow the opponent in, perfect for life sword and other close combat attacks (like burnerman), equips air and float shoes, normal buster is a 5 dmg airshot. and all wind attacks +10 (good for tornado) Win.

Roll soul You always heal, and you can take away opponents chips. How can you NOT love this?

Knight soul breaking chips get bonuses and your invinsable while in the front row. Areagrab and attack like no other.

Tomahawk soul. What, no ill effects (including paralyze) heals on grass, HUGE charge attack spread and dmg, wood chip bonuses. Another win.


Im assuming the BN crosses do not count, though I know the Sol Cross was mentioned.

Not a DS but a transformation would have to be: Beast out Gregar with (I think it was called) 'calwman' as a cross

for a DS I'd say Protochaos!

Wood Soul is my favorite soul. Duo EXE can be defeated easily by Wood Soul in less than 3 turns! That's skill!
