:cry: I'm sure any anime fan knows what this is, Toonami its finally over somehow remeber and love it here maybe some day CN will bring it back.....

Anyway I remember how I couldn't wait till saturday knight to see gundam and dragonball/z/gt I remember at school how I couldnt wait to get out on fridays and see toonami the next day.

It was my favorite night time to watch dragonball z, Yu Yu Hakasho and all other awesome anime shows

It's probably because of the ratings dude. Or it could be that Cartoon Network just don't wanna pay for anymore animated shows (including American, Canadian and Japanese anime shows). So i guess they want to save themselves some money :?

But it's most likely the ratings dude. Toonami started gonig stale during the middle of the englsih dub Naruto series or they stopped showing the so called "good shows" and the whole thing just went disarray.

BESIDES, Toonami plays on Saturday nights and saturday nights is when people go out and do stuff like hang out with ya buddies, go to the movies, out to eat or maybe even vandalize stuff. . .etc. I hardly watch TV anymore since Teen Titans and Justice League went off the air, that includes Avatar: the last airbender, but that's another channel.

Your most likely right I never had time to see it Between my baseball,doing stuff with my family etc. but I actually liked Naruto your right though it seems nothing good comes on TV anymore

Me and my brother used to watch Toonami all the time...mainly because of the Dragonball series...Transformers was another reason why!!! :grin: :smile: Well...LATER!!! :lol: 8-)

Thanks to Toonami being canceled, all I have left to watch on Cartoon Network is the anime block on Adult Swim, and they usually change their schedules every 2 or 3 months or unexpectedly. I've missed half of Code Geass because of that, so I stopped watching that show altogether.

At least I'm caught up with Bleach.

Cartoon Network is garbage these days. Not only did Toonami go under, but their regular lineups of shows absolutely blows. I mean they've been running cartoons and other junk that either isn't funny or IMO is too mature for kids. I've been missing Toonami for a long time now. I used to get my Dragon Ball fix there.

Please don't get me started on those guys! They shot Sonic X to hell, which was very disappointing for me as a Sonic fan and they edited the crap out of other animes that were supposedly good in Japanese.

I gotta agree with the remark about CN suckin it up on all sides these days. I remember when I first started watching CN about 10 years ago and they had Powerpuff Girls (I'll admit, I loved that show), Johnny Bravo, Dexter, Cow and Chicken, etc. and now the shows suck almost as bad as Nickelodeons lineup.

To stay on topic, though, I'll miss Toonami as well. It's where I was introduced to Gundam (one of the greatest things, ever!), DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In the Shell, and some others. I now know enough about anime that I don't really need Toonami, but it was a great thing just to have on the tv.

Oh man...I cant believe someone posted this. Thinking back on all my old toonami memories makes me wanna cry really....Some of the best shows appeared there...and now its over....

so they took down a unique channel that hosted the only GOOD anime in the UK and replaced it with a clone of CN under the name CN too!?
at the very least they could've bought back CN+1!

In the UK we NEVER get any good anime OR manga, the bookshop only has pretty much only the first volume of any manga books it DOES sell so I guess we always have to go to amazon for the rest, I mean I only have the first and last books of Megaman NT warrior because they're the only ones they sold .

CN is going the same route as Nick, its basically MTV for kids.
I don't know if half you guys are old enough to remember but MTV used to be a music station, now its a BS station.
CN used to be a cartoon channel, now its a BS channel.

Now there is absolutely no channels to watch on TV anymore, what a shame.......

Comedy Central is the last of the mohicans, and at the rate they are going all that's going to be left on TV that's even worth watching anymore is History channel.

TV really has gone to shit within the last 15 years.
