We all have moments in our lives when suddenly, a wild sequel appeared! for any game franchise, and even if the game received praise from all sides, there's always someone who can't get into the recent games, and always says "Nah, this isn't that good, I wish they made it like the original/classic/first one/BEST GAEM EVAH". And sometimes you go either "This person has a good point" or "... Really?". This kind of people existed ever since people actually CARED about franchises (I know, shocking), and because there won't be an end to this idea, it got me thinking:
Well, if people won't stop referring the classics, how would things be if there was nothing BUT classics?
And thus, this idea was born: The "Modern Warfare" game, where we think of a world where Game #1 was replicated like it is with some pallet/skin/graphic changes, and gameplay remains like it is, just because people loved it. "Modern Warfare" because is a reference of how CoD is known as "The same thing released every year", and that's the idea of this topic.
"But, wouldn't that mean they would become what MW is?" Depends, MW is a FPS, a genre that was overused for years, but I'm talking about First games that were fresh and unique, like Mario, Sonic, Zelda, ect., that made people enjoy them.
That's the idea, thinking of a world where games are just like the first game (Similar plots, equal gameplay), and seeing if that's really a good idea. Think about it, and reply with your thoughts!
And in this case, we have Megaman
(I may include other franchises, but for now let's stick with Megaman, mmkay?)
