I'm from Chile and english is not my first language, so don't be jerks about that, just tell me where I commited a mistake and I'll fix it. The words used in this fanfic could be considered offensive for people of some ages (it's completely safe for work, but possibly I'll write swearing sometimes when needed).

Day 38

Some months ago I found this fragment of meteorite, but just now I have been able to study it. I still don't understand how this source works, but I'm pretty sure it is self-conscious in some kind of way. This is not normal at all, supposedly energy cannot be created, but in some way... this substance replicates itself... I still don't understand....

Day 42

Impossible, this is just impossible, it manifest itself as electromagnetic radiation, but its behavior... I don't know... it absorbs the essence from intelligent beings and turns it into... I just don't know, maybe it is an intelligent virus after all...

Day 50

Fifty days since I started the new energy source project... and nothing. I copied all the data given by the experiments on my computer, but I cannot copy the source itself without corrupting all my Operative System. It's a shame, I actually believed that I could control this source and manipulate it, but its alien technology surpass anything created by humankind. It's wireless but it isn't microwave, it's electromagnetic wave but is heavy as gas... in some way... I feel it is consuming me, but I'm stronger, the more it is attached to me, the more I understand its complex structure...

Day 50 (almost midnight)

I don't understand how this energy works, but I'm pretty sure I'll do in short time. It's time to prepare its vessel. After the first experiments I know that this source can destroy or increase the power of the host. I must be careful, I'm playing with powers beyond human's control, but without risks there is no progress. Tomorrow I'll start the building phase of my second project.



Day 57

My finest machine. The ultimate host. I'm pretty excited, all the engines are pretty functional with just one week of work. Practice makes perfect, I guess. This is wonderful, all my old blueprints are just magnificent. The only problem is the energy cell. Solar and nuclear energy are not enough, I must improve my last invention with my new studies over the alien source. I must be prepared, just one mistake and whole world will be doomed. The LHC experiments were completely safety compared to this. But I must go on, surrender is not an option. I don't care about humanity at all, they just treated me like rubbish... but the hard times will end, justice will prevail, and I'll receive what I deserve.

Day 64

Damn! I don't have all the resources that I need for finishing my project... not now... I was finishing the second phase... Goddammit! I know this journal is supposed to cover just the important information, but I can't believe this! I have no time to earn money legally –and actually I can't. I need to steal some technology to finish this soon. This is awful, I live like a rat... I must be prepared for the assault. I know I'm alone, specially since what I told him... but SCREW HIM! I don't need him! All what I need is to finish my project soon as possible, the rest doesn't matter...

Day 66

Two days to recreate my old schemes. I'm an expert without doubt. Today is the true first day of my project. After two months working in the shadows, finally I'll start to face my future. Probably my enemies will crush me this time, I can feel it, but I need his technology. The plan is simple: steal more than what you need – if you are lucky, you will preserve what you wanted.

Day 67

First report after the cataclysm. All my creations where destroyed. The lab is a mess. Also I had to tolerate that irritating robotic girl until they found her. And that traitor... he refused to stay in my lab again, but he know the truth now, I showed to him my last work. He laughed, but I'm pretty sure that he will surrender and beg for forgiveness... I must clean this mess.

Day 68

It's gone! All my energy it's gone! I can't believe it! That galactic Robocop came back to destroy all my sources, he left nothing! Days of work completely wasted by him! All my documents are useless!! Now how I will charge the batteries inside my project? Maybe... maybe I should just give up... they will forgive me?

Day 71

I got back in the line. This place is a mess, but I know what I need. Finally I understand, He destroys all my dreams over and over again just because he truly believe on what he does. He just «want» to win and nobody can't stop his will... well, there is something that stops him: the three rules. Probably that's the reason why I'm still alive after all what I did, he just can't kill me. The three rules, the golden rules of robotics, the rules I broke on all of my creations. But I must accept something, my best creation nowadays have free will in some degree... he really want to achieve his mission, maybe he needs it more than me.
So that's the plan, I must create a powerful robot who wants to do what I want with his... heart? This is not my style, but probably is what I need for my future creation, maybe this way I will consume less energy constraining the natural will of his AI...



Day 80

I used all my scrap for the creation of unit 'K'. He is quite powerful in the attack, and I melted all my ceratanium for his creation. This is the very first time that I create a robot with free will on purpose, so this time I implanted a bomb inside his core. Despite this, I don't want to destroy my new machine in that way, so I'm prepared to reset him with my old methods...

Day 81

I'm pretty impressed, he is a genius! He told me about his plans to unify all the nations and create a great empire under one rule! I'm training him to improve his skills and accomplish his tasks. I pretend to use his intelligence for commanding my new electronic army and bring a new order to this planet!!

Day 120

Chaos. Maybe I made him with too much freedom, because HE IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER MY NEW FORTRESS!! The situation is extremely dangerous, but I have an idea... Day 120 of my project –His AI and skills are increasing, he learned a lot about me and he actually wants to take over the rest of the world with his robotic uprising by his own means. He knows about the bomb inside him, but he just doesn't care, he believes that I depend on his mercy to survive... That's it, I'll leave him do anything he wants, but at the right moment I will blow him up! Even, that will bring me time to test the responses of this new technology. If he fails, the results of my studies could be useful for my main project.

Day 130

Eight days since he started his army. He enrolled 8 commanders for different tasks. A robot called Ground Man collected a lot of valuable treasures which were used to pay the costs of production of his weapons and buildings. He found and repaired one of my older robots and rebuilt another one. He even destroyed the first creation of my nemesis! If he reaches is goal, I'll take his place retiring him –meanwhile, I'll stay here hidden inside the fortress. This is going perfect...

Day 131

Finally the chasing started. That piece of scrap and that traitor started to haunt all the Commanders. I must be prepared, I know how this works. Today at night they will arrive here and destroy everything. This time, they will perish. All the wireless command is ready to function under and emergency. I'll leave this place before they come here.





Day 132

Almost all the plan was ruined. Unit 'K' betrayed me and all my fortress was completely destroyed. I didn't have time to work on the project as I wanted. Also, DLN-000 is alive. I wi..-

Special unit came back. I promised him to be my lieutenant and first elite unit. Obviously it was a lie, but I must to keep him on my side as long as possible.

Day 150

I used the founds and robots collected under the rule of unit 'K'. I'm hidden inside an island on the Pacific Ocean. I'll start my schemes from scratch, a new era will start –but this time, I'll have some tricks up my sleeve.

Day 207

First progress since the alien energy was stolen by that robot. I finally created a synthetic substance with similar properties to the alien energy. It doesn't replicate itself, but can seek and modify the inner structure of some subjects. 324 robots were sacrificed for this discovery, but finally my research is reaping rewards

Day 235

Today I did my first test over the project's vessel. He consumed all the energy of the island during the process. During his semiconscious state, I stimulated his electronic brain with electric signals, activating all of his cognitive capabilities under controlled stasis. «He» believed he was awake. It will take a couple of days to study all the results of the tests.



Day 239

My worst nightmare turned into reality.

The unit is extremely unstable, a borderline murder with childish attitude. His AI is too weak to control all of his hardware and the drivers doesn't work as expected. Also, he doesn't understand the simplest tasks I gave him. He just destroyed everything.

In the other hand, he is stronger than anything I created before... he even tried to increase his level of consciousness breaking my firewall. Maybe... maybe I created a true God of destruction...



Day 254

Today something pretty bizarre happened. I compiled my last version of the source on my computer. I didn't even tested it inside an external circuit, but all the robots working on the overheated or stopped their functions... forever. I disconnected the computer and cleaned any traces of...«that thing».
My computed never sent any wireless signal... at least that is what I believe... there is no way that what I created corrupted all the machines inside the room... It's illogical, but I think my program fried some of my machines overcharging them... but why some of them just become a pile of junk without explanation? I'm must admit it, I'm scared about my new discoveries...







Day 255

What happened yesterday was frightening, but what happened today was just wonderful. The discharge of the synthetic source activated the vessel's testing state around 2 minutes. With the results I can conclude that the discharge slightly modified his systems «permanently». I mean, of course I can reboot the machine to its former state, but he can't forget what he learned without my permission. And this is the miracle: he obeys me a bit more than two days ago. He is still a berserk, but the source worked better than expected. This energy worked, for first time, according to my plans and followed my own schedule.

Day 379

I deleted the reports from the last months by accident. I corrupted all my security systems with the virus. After I learned to control my synthetic energy's pulses and its rewriting capabilities, I started to experiment with intelligent malware. The basic idea is to merge the code with my wireless energy, rewriting the inner program from any machine. I just don't understand why the rewriting potential of the synthetic energy manifests just in some machines and not in others.

Day 400

I'll stop working in this project for some time. I need to clean my name for the public opinion. If I want to start my second assault, I have to make people forget my old schemes. I'll abandon this fortress for a while.
