How are you Gentlemen!

Well, this is my first post, it's about a new Mega Man X fan Game, we need some help with the music, for now, we took some tracks of the youtube user dracula9antichapel (http://www.youtube.c...re=results_main) with his permission of course.

we have already a functional engine and a beta of the Intro Stage



About the history of the Fan Game, we search for a better connection with the classic saga, adding some classic enemies like the sniper joes, battontons and some big surprises, the events of the game are before Megaman X1.



We need help with the sprites, if someone wants to help with the fangame.

I have some classic enemies in a MMX style for our game (see my signature). Maybe we can work togheter in that (but at the moment I'm very busy, I'll have time in a couple of months).

Also, if you want ideas for new enemies to add, check out the AMV that was on the Maverick Hunter X disc for PSP. You can find it online called "The Day of Sigma". It takes place before Megaman X when Sigma was the Commander over them before he turned Maverick. Storm Eagle and Chill Penguin were also allies in this time. There are some enemies in there I believe are nowhere else.

Ya habiamos planeado introducir algunos de los ex-maverick hunters de los otros juegos a este fangame, como Storm Eagle, Magna Centipede, Green Biker Dude, Etc.

Sobre los enemigos basados en la Ova "El dia de Sigma", es una gran ide, gracias por la ayuda, voy a ver una vez mas el video, es simplemente genial, necesitamos un anime completo de mega man X xD

well, has i can tell, the sprites needs a lot of work, starting from the tiles and the boss.
i think sigma should be playable or at least appear has a NPC, something like a navigator comes to my mind. vile should too.
the engine looks like it needs a lot of work too, i can see some scrolling problems and the boss isn't x-ish at all, the room is too big.

aside from that, good work

Bueno como eres mexicano te hablare en español xD

Porfin, estaba esperando un post asi, uno que te haga ver los errores o en lo que puede mejorar el juego.

Los Sprites pueden mejorar, es verdad, soy el unico spriter en el grupo, y recien comeze a spritear hace 2 meses xD, buscare actualizarlos despues, que primero quiero afinar mis habilidades, Los Tilesets los saque de el stage de Armor Armage, asi que no veo mucho problema con eso.

Sigma si va a ser un NPC, amigable claro, eso ya estaba decidido desde hace tiempo. Vile tambien aparecera, estamos planeando hacer un tipo de "campo de entrenamiento" donde podras pelear amistosamente con los maverick hunters. Eso del navegador voy a conversarlo, estabamos pensando que Cain seria una buena idea, o la reploid de pelo rosado de la OVA.

El intro stage es beta, tambien el Engine, eso si lo mencione, solo lo mostramos para ver si conseguiamos un poco mas de ayuda.

Gracias por las criticas, procuraremos pulir todo antes de sacar otro video.

Bueno, ya que te gustan las críticas XD. Creo que los sonidos que usan no suenan como los originales(me refiero a disparos, saltos, etc...). Los efectos sonoros son importantes para traer la originalidad de los megaman a un proyecto. Espero haberme expresado bien.

Bueno si, cualquier critica es bien recibida xD

y sobre eso, he estado buscando como ripear sonidos de la SNES, como el aullido del velguarder, que lo necesito para completar el aullido del enemigo basado en el, pero no he tenido suerte.

Si tuvieran algun tuto por alli seria de gran ayuda

Te recomiendo que uses para cada charged buster su sonido original, ya que con el sonido que le has puesto(el mismo para los 3) no suena muy bien.
Si lograras mejorar eso del sonido, tu proyecto luciría mucho mejor.

Muchas gracias por el consejo, lo utilizaremos, pero por ahora nos estamos centrando en los sprites de muestra de los bosses, Solo nos falta 1 y mostramos todos

not trying to offend anyone but:

these mavericks looks like the corrupted ones:
roach = rafflar
totorwar = milodon
raptor actually is fine, but his design need some work.
seaforce looks like launch octopus
flame salamander only needs a better design and maybe change the "flame" on his name, since flame has been used 2 times at this moment (flame mammoth and flame stag)
termite looks cool, redesign is needed anyway
archae = hoatzin
froganger = puffer
