This outpost is in the middle of a barren icy wasteland. Nothing much can be spotted here for miles, but underneath the snow and rock lies a small outpost with a barracks, a communications array, and IT-bay, and emergency supplies. It's only 5-6 kilometers away from a local city.
The spire that jutted straight out of the hillside was the only piece of technology that could be seen for miles. The wind, was lonely and brushed casually across the snowplanes. Within a moment, an airship came into view. Within another moment, the green airship came to a halt. The repulsors kicked up much of the settled snow, when Chance and Detective Dych jumped out from it's compartment. Following behind them, were two armed Federation soldiers.
"Jeeze, my circuits are going to freeze off in this weather!" Dych complained, shivering but holding his handgun firmly. He looked around and realized how remote the location was, and shook his head solemnly. "I was built for the city, not here."
"Hush, Detective," Chance commanded. "This base might have receptors that could detect vocalizations."

[Moments later]
Chance and the Detective had found literally no resistance, only discovering the incapacitated bodies of several reploid civilians and soldiers. Chance was already inside, typing away at the terminal to tell what happened. From the looks of things, a mutiny related to the New Hera corruption happened. Or perhaps, the mutiny at New Hera is connected to this incident. If corruption was spreading around, Chance needed to lop off the Hydra's heads, and freeze the necks before they can regrow.
Dych was taking up notes on the surrounding area. The perpetrators were long gone once they arrived, which left them with very little clues. Most of the attacks were reckless, and very destructive. A reploid of high-caliber weapons caused the attack.
