Just today, Adult Swim just announced on their website that "Toonami's Back bitches" with a hashtag for twitter updates.

How much more appropriate is this video now?

I just came here to post this myself, so awesome! This is gonna be great, especially if the air the original DBZ again. None of that Kai crapola lol Amazing none the less, best move Adult Swim/Cartoon Network has made in years. I can't wait!!!!! :axlreallyhappy:

Man, this is...still don't know what to say, lol. Unbelievable.

After a long hiatus, including an age which could barely be called Toonami...it's back. I don't know what to say.

I can't wait to see what kind of shows it has. Man...I hope it retains the same feel as the days of old. Cartoon Network as a whole felt like it had a more solid, higher quality to it. Lots of custom bumps and commercials like they really cared about what they were doing as a network. A lot of that was seen in Toonami. Now it's BACK. Sweet mercy.

edit:new shows include Casshern Sins (a reboot of Casshern who we all know from TvC) and Deadman Wonderland.They better have DBZ and it would be nice to see Megas XLR again which i have not seen since i was 5.

Whether they've got the dough or not, the fact remains that we'll pretty much have to watch the crap out of Toonami if we want it to stick around this time. Though I'm not sure that the time slots they set up are optimized for better ratings. I really hope CN didn't bring back Toonami just for it to fail.

^^ As long it doesn't show too much of the good shows on late Saturdays nights, while putting on some of them on the weekdays (around 4 or 5pm) then heck I'm all for whatever dude.

Just came here to see who else will be watching tomorrow night. I will admit, I was a little sad to see no classics I loved, but it's all good, because I'm gonna be there for Toonami itself. Plus, I'm excited for the two new shows, which I've never heard of, Casshern: Sins and Deadman Wonderland. I hope they're good, they don't sound too bad from what I've read. As nostalgia loving as I am, I like that Toonami is not just coming back, but trying to evolve as well and keep up with current anime. I'm sure eventually the classics will make their comeback as well, from what I've read it's the obvious cash issue and rights. I guess Nick owns the DBZ rights currently as well as Kai, but for what reason I don't know. Truly sucks because I just can't get into Kai and they've never shown the original as far as I know. Anyway, regardless of all that, I think it's going to be awesome :awesomeaxl:
