Ever since Cartoon Planet i asked myself "is CN improving?"2008 it when Cartoon Network died to me (not sure about you) and i wonder if CN may be good like it was.If they bring back CCF and Toonami i would praise them.What do you think about Cartoon Network now?

I think they are teetering, even though it may not seem it. I haven't watched Cartoon Network in ages, but I am glad they still show the classics here and there.

Hell, I think Toonami itself could become a great anime channel. Adult Swim too.

Regular Show and Adventure Time are as good as anything they've ever had, but that's about all they have. Definitely more of an adult swim fan, going way way back.

I think the network is still degrading. The last good show for me was Chowder.

Cartoon network started going through changed almost every year at one point...i think one of my favorite things was when they had all the chars from the tv show walking around in a city kinda outside their lives as cartoon chars. and Toonami was what really me me watch CN back in the day. but when i saw them attempt the Real life stuff....it really disappointed me....i mean its called CARTOON NETWORK

i thin they thoght it was some how better for kids....i think that's crap and honestly i think adult swim has more influence over CN then any one thinks about.....i mean it may just be a series of strange coincidences......but i have a hard time beliving it

Andrew WK is a really successful musical artist. He did go on ATHF, but he got on ATHF because he was famous. The Party Party Party song was a bit of a self-parody, as all of his songs are like that. His major-label debut album I Get Wet has 3 songs with the word party in the title and a few others whose titles elude to partying.
Your Dana Snyder thing is a bit of a stretch. It's like saying HBO is taking over Cartoon Network because Steve Little is in Eastbound and Down and also voices a ton of characters on Adventure Time and Flapjack.

just watched cartoon planet and i got hit my nostalgia bat.i also find it ironic how a classic cartoon(scooby doo)was featured in a classic cartoon(johnny bravo.)how ironic!

I think they're slightly improving as of late 2011, I believe around the middle of 2005 CN just lost itself over the years. That huge gap made me realize I had to move on since they were becoming too kiddie ( when I say that I mean too soft on the humor, action and all that). Boondocks was the only good thing on Adult swim during those times, all the live-action stuff didn't fit the theme well in the overall network.

Now I know Toonami wasn't the only good thing we can remissness about back in the day. There was also Justice League, Teen Titans, Samurai Jack...etc. It was awesome how they ended the JL animation series. The creators wanted to develop a 6th season of Teen Titans but the network didn't want it, what we're they thinking!? Samurai Jack, man I have no clue what happened to him. There's more I can throw but that's all the shows I can think of as of now because in 2005 I never watched CN ever again until 2011 showed me the light....a little.

the new shows of 2011 or whoever is keep count:

Regular show, Adventure Time, The Looney Tune Show all have some pretty nasty adult themes like how CN was back in the day.
Young Justice, the new Thundercats, Ben 10 and Generator Rex (both created by Man of Action): all your fav. action flicks are there.
What Bluekirby2 stated about the "Cartoon Planet" all the nostalgia shows from the 90s are also there.

Yeah I know that's lot of crap I watch, working in a warehouse loading/ unloading can give you a lot of bodily stress

In short yeah CN was f***ing up in 2005 but there still hope....besides those crappy live-action shows. I like to point out, anybody ever heard of Sym-bionic-Titan? or Robotomy?

I have to admit being quite fond of Young Justice. Fills that Justice League/Teen Titans hole quite well.

Honestly, I think they're okay for now, I mean, I mainly just watch Cartoon Network for at least.. two shows? (maybe three) it's not a lot. As said somewhere above, Zechs put it nicely.

I think with DC Nation,and Cartoon Planet is whats making them better.The dark ages of cartoons may have finally ended and besides Pokemon I finally have something to look forward to on Saturday mornings.(Thundercats, and Young Justice.)also Mega Man+Anime+Toonami= what do you think is the answer?
