Those Haunting words Still linger in my mind after beating this game on hard mode. i was sure that their was Going to Be a new game for sure...but that has not seemed to happen yet. lots of things seem to get but either on hold or canceled all together...*cough legends 3* But this game i really did see them at-least finishing i mean the only reason i want that is cus as a FAN i want what every Fan wants....Closure..and knowing that theirs another problem bothers me...i want to know why Thomas wants to reset the world, i want to know what happens to Vent and the rest of the Crew, and again...its cus i want Closure with this series now i know that their were some Scans of.....

And i was excited...but slightly annoyed cus if this was going to be in the past....id only get some questions answered witch would probably open up more answers =/ And then this happened before it was called an April Fool's Joke



I mean Really before that put that April fool thing on their i got some what excited...but i was also Cautious since the art work sisint seem quit right....but none the less i still kept my fingers crossed and then it was reviled as a joke. thats...not funny i mean to me if they just game out to start with and was like.....hey look this is our idea don't you think it would be cool?

Any way my whole point is id like to see this series continue as well And if it were to continue what to you guys think you would like to see? I had an idea of a re-formation of the Maverick hunters...since we pretty much got our three Bio Metals and to see some old threats from the past return, we all know if a Model V showed up every one would be a little happy

I definitely agree that the ZX series needs closure, but let's avoid treading old water here. The Maverick Hunters would be virtually redundant with the Hunter's Guild and the Guardians around. And the Biometals don't run the show; their Chosen Ones do. I'm fine with the occasional continuity nod, but the story should otherwise focus on the new cast.

Model W is presumably destroyed for good, which is fine by me. The Biometal reached the peak of its power in Advent, with all Model W fragments merging into their ultimate form. I don't see how Model W could up the ante if it was brought back for a third game, and since Master Thomas thought that Albert was "wrong", it would be hypocritical of him to try the same plan. I'd like to see him pursue his goals of creating new life and resetting the world without Model W.

I actually never beat Advent on hard, so I thought this was very interesting. It is quite odd that they would say that, and just leave the series. I think if they did ever make another one it should be in a post apocalyptic future where Thomas rules all, not just like in the previous two where Serpent, and Albert were TRYING to rule the world.

i don't even know why the only thing i can figure is it got the same Excuse as Maverick hunter X their were not enough sales so we don't feel like making another. and honestly that itself drives me insane. sure this series was a twist but it was alright it didn't stray to far off the path....besides calling them the Mega-Men.....i wasn't to nuts about that

Regardless as of right now id be thrilled to see any thing but i suppose we will have to wait patiently

I feel the ending to the third ZX game will not and should not be an entirely "happy" one. When Master Thomas says reset, I immediately connected the great flood which leads into the Legends series. After all, the series is chock full of biblical references and terms in which the actual biblical great flood supposedly reset this world, so I'm not sure how the heroes should be set up to ultimately "fail", but I do know that the ending of the game should involve the world being "reset" involving water. It would be the perfect bridge.

I know some Mega Man fans don't necessarily like negative aspects and endings and such, but ZX is a far cry from the classic series. Something pivotal needs to happen and this is the opportunity. ZX3 with sprites in polygonal areas on the 3DS with Legends 3 also being finished for the system. Top it off with X9 and that's a grand anniversary celebration if I do say so myself.

They do have a great opportunity....but i suppose were just gonna have to wait and see what they decide to do hopefully we will get great fan service towards what ever they decide to do to this series.

I'm with Mac on this. Not every Mega Man game needs a happy ending. Perhaps they could get a bittersweet ending or something where Thomas succeeds in flooding the world, but the protagonist(s) manages to make the plan sting less.

For example: Thomas' plan may be to obliterate all life on the planet, but the protagonist(s) manages to save a few thousand lives or something to that effect.

As a fan of ZX series I would love to see a proper ending, I never played much of Legends so the point of the great flood really slipped my mind and points already proven would make for a great finish to the series but my only questions are if they do make fresh protagonists, what would their biometals be and with Prometheus and Pandora gone who will play a similar role to them? (although personally I would love to play as a biometal similar to Prometheus or Pandora)

There are thousands of years between ZX:A and Legends, so they can do whatever they want and still allow the flood to zero it all out (ala X and Zero series Elf Wars). But I dunno about new BioMetal. Perhaps if there is a reasonable explanation for them, like Prairie learning to create BioMetal or something, then I'm sure other ones are possible. I mean, BioMetal are Weapons, and once someone learns how to make them, they would be exploited as both Weapon and Deterrent.

well if a biometal can be created, then it could come to no surprise that someone or something could probably dig up the basic scematics that were first made by ciel, if that could be the case then maybe a new biometal could be made give or take several years but that seems very unlikely and rather cliche (at least i think so), but a man can dream right?
