X Is Back In Action!

UPDATE: A scan of the two in what looks to be gameplay has been released, as seen above. X can be seen using Twin Slasher and Frost Tower, while Zero is using Raijingeki and Kuuenzan. The area also looks to be a cybernetic area. Perhaps belonging to a certain Peacock or Anteater?

As you all probably know, Capcom, Sega and Namco Bandai have been teasing a collaboration for 3DS. Recent rumours believe it to be called "Project X Zone", and of course the teaser site itself seems to hint that X and Zero shall be starring among the Capcom side of things.

This week's issue of Famitsu has indeed confirmed the game to be titled Project X Zone, a strategy RPG in which the featured characters team up in pairs for fights. The confirmed character list is:

Capcom
Ryu & Ken (Street Fighter 0), X and Zero (Mega Man), Demitri and Dante (Darkstalkers and Devil May Cry), Chris and Jill (Resident Evil)

Sega
Shinguji Sakura and Ogami Ichiro (Sakura Wars), Pai and Akira (Virtua Fighter), Kurt and Riela (Valkyria Chronicles), Ulala and Touma (Space Channel 5 and Shining Force EXA)

Namco Bandai
Sanger Somvold (Super Robot Wars), Jin and Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken), Kos-Mos and T-elos (Xenosaga), Yurie and Estel (Tales of Vesperia), Kaito and Black Rose (.hack)

More details should be pouring in soon, and a trailer is to be debuting this month!

I'm surprised that Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man aren't in the Namco Bandai section. Or Sonic and Tails in the SEGA section.

Well if its for 3DS I would love to see nintendo throw one team in there.

Fox and Falco or Samus and Captain Falcon.

As for Sega, I wouldnt be surprised if Sonic and Tails or Sonic and Knuckles appear.

YAY CONFIRMED FOR STRATEGY RPG!!!!!

instant buy for 3DS if it comes out this year or so.....wait...we need to know if its coming out internationally ._. (Banpresto does have a habit of making japan only games due to licensing)

Updated image again. Looks like they'll be sporting more than one X4 weapon at least. Maybe two per game or something. That'd be sweet.

WOW!!!! now i Have 2 Reasons to get a 3DS This game and Kingdom Hearts 3D i was Hoping that they would make a New ZX game for the 3DS since it would be a Perfect system for a Sequel. :awesomezero:
