what I originally meant is that the fight should feel the fast-paced adrenaline rush you always get on MMX games. having him doing a lot a heavy attack that takes a ton of time on animaiton itself sort of looses the momentum, however, as you propose it now it fits just great! ;)

Key of advice incase you don't do it.

Separate the body parts. Have each arm be it's own piece, shoulders, legs, body. You can piece together things and create interesting animations even just by adjusting the same sprites in different positions.

Notice how the sword/shield and sometimes legs/cape are separate pieces? Doing that can save you a lot of time and make things easier.

very cool! Thank you for bringing back the topic. I am currently visiting the states, so I am not doing much regarding the proyect other than adding a thing or two on already started songs. I do have a good friend of mine who wanted to try a sprite and asked him to make a Tailwind sprite, and he did a cool job, though he is not a professional spriter himself. I'll post it here when he 100% finishes the model, to see if it is of any help

I apologize for not working on the MNR-037, I'm really busy in life right now and don't have much time to work. I've also got a shitton of other stuff to work on.

I don't think this project will dissipate soon, I think the developers will just pass the torch to someone else if they can't finish it. Not only that, but they don't seem to be rushed people. Don't expect this project to be one that shows an update with flawed designs each week. Don't worry for the months of silence; we'll have something (hopefully amusing) to show at some point, no?

Yes, that's the point. I'm really bussy with my last tests this week and my finals during the next two. Ermac was released this week, but he is kind of tired at the moment. Don't worry, we will update when we have something :). And thanks to Vaankar and Unknowni for their efforts (and I'm waiting for your work, Chippy xD)

Hello! Well, sorry Unknowni for interrupting you, but I must give some news:

- I'm finaly in my winter holidays, YAHOOO!
- Ermac is working in the colors of our concept art.
- We don't have Sigma's sprite sheet, but we will work without one anyways (I'll use crappy fast-made material for testing)
- I'll start to fix some parts of the engine that don't work and program at least one weapon for X (for testing purposes).
- All the concept of the game is ready, stages are doodled(?) on my notebook and story is complete. But we need to turn it to pixel-art.

WE NEED:
- Again, more spriters/tile-makers, Unknowni is working with us, but he is bussy with the desing of the introductory boss.



And that's all, I really like how the new boss looks, but it doesn't look too much SNES' X related... Community, can you give us more advices :D?
