About the song: Tried to make the intro something that gives a hook into the song, I think that from a first listen it may be like "who, what?" lol, idk, I cant judge it because i heard it so many times I got used to it so you may be right; I do can tell you it was the biggest challenge for me on the whole song! You have no idea how many days i spent just on thinking of 5 silly seconds for the intro :p. But its good to know what you said, you know, for next time; so thanks ;)

I think the hook is perfect. DO NOT touch the hook, it's creative and it caught my attention instantly. Work on the climax/conclusion of the song which happens right before the loop point. That's the part which was very weak considering how much tension you were building up.

Ok, I see what he's talking about now. The introduction isn't the real hook, it's more of a fill. The real hook stars after that. What you can do to make it more attractive is to add orchestra hits. That will add more emphasis to the intro rhythm.

This song is so epic that I think it's too good for just one boss, it needs to be for that dramatic initial final stage.

I have previous experience with game maker by creating my own megaman (classic) engine, and I would love to help them with that too, but... I'm probably as busy as craven and ermac so I can't do much right now (ironically, I'm busy with creating a Megaman Classic/X/Zero/ZX engine for a college project).
However, I can help you or whoever else feels like helping with any trouble they face with game maker. So feel free to PM me (in spanish if you want) if you have any troubles with the engine.

I'm really interested in this project, and I would like to help as much as I'm able to.

Okay...

First of all, I don't want this page to slowly die off. We need ACTIVITY. Second of all, I'm having trouble thinking up ideas for the attacks used by the MNR-037 (the Mineroid) and would like you guys' attention. I've thought up some, but they seem so lame and I would like help. Most intro bosses have at least three attacks, am I right?

So far I've got this:

1. Dash with drill extended
2. Laser along the floor from claw
3. YOU GUYS DECIDE!

Ahm, i think that "claw grabbing", like the green enemy at MMX in Sting Chameleon stage (before the capsule rise from the ground).

Maybe if you make the laser you can put him some jets in his feet, then he shoot the laser while he is floating

Oh, Osvix, you misunderstood. We hate to do a lot of spoilers because we want to keep the hype, but we talk a lot with Vaankar about the music, actually, he knows a lot about the story of the game now, but he is allowed to post his songs here. Also, Unknowni has posted his sprites with our aproval, because we don't think that knowing that stuff could kill the surprise. I talk a lot to Unknowni via PM, ermac talk with Vaankar via gmail, vaankar and me talk in facebook, also I talk a bit with Solren, who is not "inside" the project but we share thoughts about engines. Don't worry about the spoilers, all of that is under control.

Also, as we said before, you are very welcome to this project, and I'm glad that you are slicing, butchering and playing with our engine -the best way to understand it. ;)

I will take this chance to also say I wont be publishing newer songs for a while now. It has nothing to do with what Craven just said, it was my own decision a few weeks ago, simply because I already have both the support and feedback from some of you guys to keep me pushing forward and I've learned what to improve and what not in the songs thanks to that, also I think those 3 songs should serve enough as basis of what to expect from the game, more would be too much spoiler. The rest of the songs, like the non-spoiler policy, will come as a surprise along with the game updates in either demos or videos ;)

Yeah, I know, I'm a filthy, despicable son of a bitch XD but i think its for the best.

Ill do something though. don't know what yet but i'll try my best to cancel the empty space of not updating the project with music
