Should the franchise move to another company?

Do you think it's better for the Mega Man Franchise to move to another company? Where they actually CARE about it?
If that will happen, I guess it's better to leave our Blue boys to Nintendo. Yes. Nintendo. Why? Because no matter how times have changed, Nintendo never had the thought of changing the looks of their characters just to make them look "modern". They continue to create games no matter how casual or hardcore, as long they know that people love playing them.
Sega... I dunno about that place, they already have a Blue Mascot for them LOL.
What do you think? Do you think it's time for Mega Man to move on? Or continue struggling its existence inside the greedy clutches of CRAPCOM?

So dude, its not going to happen. We've had how many topics now?
http://megamanx9.com...n-to-part-ways/
And that same topic on TMMN....
And various times in other topics that I am far to lazy to look up because it is not worth my time. I truthfully don't think I need to prove anything withthis thread exists.
So, until I feel you have deemed yourself otherwise, I shall note you as 'New-Regal'

Plus, even if I already saw that topic, I wouldn't have read it, because like you said, I'm also lazy to read it and also not worth my time. No offense, just saying. :)

So, because he thinks it could be better to hand over Mega Man to someone else, he's automatically the new Regal? its not like he started making Inappropriate threads, or doing anything else Regal had done. (from what I've seen)
Though on topic, It doesn't really matter to me what company has him at the moment, but if things get worse, I'd think it be best to have him with Inafune.

If Legends is to survive, either CyberConnect2 or Inafune's company should get the franchise. I don't know about IntiCreates's credentials in 3d gaming.
If this concerns the survival of the other series, it should be Inafune's company or IntiCreates.
But will Capcom let Mega Man go? Not for a while.

I don't understand why though... They've made it painfully clear to us within the last couple of years that they really don't care about Mega Man.. at all. ESPECIALLY this year.
It's something I've been thinking about too, that eventually Capcom will just completely drop Mega Man like a bad habit for some reason, and that everything they've been doing is some sort of "phasing out" process. Honestly though, you're right SZX. It won't be for a while, because they seem to LOVE Zero, and Zero is Mega Man related after all. Until the fighting games lose their momentum and Capcom moves on with something else.. it looks like there's no hope for us to see the blue bomber again.. =/

As for megaman., I agree with Volt-kid.It would be interesting to see what others could do with megaman's potential.I know Inafune loves it. But loving a franchise so much can also hurt it.Like a mother who doesn't let his child to go away for education because she is afraid.Let the child go dammit.Maybe he can score someday this way

Well action figures and manga translations take a smaller amount of time to make than an actual video game, and it hasn't been too long since Inafune retired. CAPCOM could possibly have a game in the works as well as releasing related merchandises. And who know, maybe the next game will be pretty decent.

Hopefully Mega-Man doesn't turn out to be the John Cena of video-games & be all about the merchandise , teasing & non- entertaining value , if the ip stays with Capcom.

If you ask me, let Capcom of America take over the Mega Man franchise. Look at the Castlevania series, Metroid at that. They did that move, and it was probably their better move for those franchises.
Capcom of Japan, they are just hogging the development.

Capcom outsourced some development responsibities to NeoWiz for Rockman Online. Capcom could have done the same with Megaman Legends 3 through assigning most of the development duties to Inticreates or CyberConnect2. Outsourcing development productions supposedly cuts costs. In fact, the Street Fighter IV, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 games were not developed by Capcom, yet they were given the green light.
