The Maverick Hunter Base of Tonto; the Far North-West base, gleamed in it's massive glory. It was THE Base of Canada. Their best base comparable to the Far West run by Signas. The Maverick Hunter Base was a 20 story building situated in the center of Lake Ontario.
[Enter Cyclonic Cerberus]
Cyclonic Cerberus literally prowled the halls of the Maverick Hunter base. It was quick and made small noises as it's claws hit the floor. In another part of the base, a smaller dog prowled the halls along with another... They were going towards the center of the base. They turned the halls running past the Hunters. The halls were large and the main one took up a large part of the halls. Both parties turned a corner and ran directly towards each other. The main one, largest one, stopped dead in it's tracks and the two smaller dogs jumped doing a flip and landing on the back of the large dog; a white light formed as the back of the main dog opened up and the two smaller dogs entered into the two holes with only their heads sticking out. The light vanished as the back closed and then Cyclonic Cerberus, in it's full, stood up. It stretched it's arms towards the roof and was cracking it's knuckles before entering the Command Center. It pushed through the revolving doors and entered the sign-in area. He looked at the two Desk Operators.
"Oh hey, Ceb." the first receptionist said. He began typing. "Name, and number, blajh blah..." he said, too used to the routine. He typed a few keys onto his holo keyboard and hit enter. "Free to enter." he said as he gave CC a smile.
"Thanks Tom." Cyclonic Cerberus said in a friendly voice.
The two extremely heavy doors opened up and CC entered the Command Center. He scratched his head. He felt odd the past few days... Felt more violent than usual. He saw the Commander known as "Commander Orions". He was tactical. He was lacking in self defense but he was also somewhat stubborn. He stood at 5'9, had a red and white colour scheme and had been brought in after the Red Alert battle after they tried installing more Maverick Hunter Bases around the world. He was built specifically to be the Commander here. He has a friendly attitude and what one could expect of a stereotypical Canadian; complete with "Eh" and always offering Maple Syrup to humans... Always apologizing for the smallest things...
"Commander Orions, sir." Cyclonic Cerberus said as he saluted.
Commander Orions turned from looking at his screen and waved with a large smile but... He slowed down.
"EXILE and ASYLUM seem awfully quiet and stationary..." he said as he let out a hearty laugh and he walked closer to Cyclonic Cerberus.
He saluted back. "At ease." he said. Cyclonic Cerberus let out a laugh and look to his left and right at the heads of the two dogs.
"What, not in a talkitive mood are we?" the main head said... "Redemption is stupid... We're doomed... All of us..." the second head said.
"Somebody's a grumpy gus, eh EXILE?" Commander Orions asked the second head, named EXILE. He grabbed a coffee mug and took a big swig of coffee from his.
"Feh, he he he... I just... So excited... Get our pay today and REDEMPTION has a plan for today." the first head said... ASYLUM was it's name.
"Plans?" Commander Orions said with a friendly, questionable tone.
"Ah, heh... Yeah... There is somewhere I wanna go today. Shouldn't be long." REDEMPTION said as he rubbed his own head.
Commander Orions always made a bet to the other figures of the base; about which one controlled the movements of the limbs, or whether they all subconsciously wanted to do the same thing. The three heads always joked themselves that they actually don't even operate and there is just a smaller dog doing the actual movements and they just happen to coincidentally be what they wanna do. Their massive size made Sigma look short.
"Well, alright then. Have a good time, buddy." Commander Orions said as he gave a pat on CC's stomach as his shoulder was too high. "Alright Commander." Redemption said as he turned away.
He began walking out of the Command Center and headed towards the IT Bay...

Ryuta looks out the window of the plane he took, seeing the all but unfamiliar settings of the capital city; the first part of their rendezvous point. It seemed to have been an hour-long trip, giving him plenty of time to repaint parts of the Heatnix mask he had bought back in New Hera.
The flat areas of the beak and head had been painted over with the red and black paints, the yellow areas painted red, and the red areas painted black. He could have done more to make it less recognizable, but they were nearing the landing point and he didn't have much juice left in the power tools in his cylindrical tool box to make the necessary modifications.
Ryuta decides to wait until the plane lands before he puts the mask on. For now, he looks back out the window, seeing if he can locate the lab he was supposed to meet Dr. S in.

Looking at the mask, he contemplates putting it on now, but prefers to wait until he got to the lab before doing so, not wanting to mislead Dr. S even if he could recognize him behind the mask.
It took a few minutes before he finds the building he saw from the airplane, looking around to see if Dr. S has arrived yet. Knowing his mysterious status, he most likely didn't get here by publicly common means.
He soon sensed the stuttering doctor's presence appear within the building and heads calmly towards the door, not wanting to create too much concern or suspicion from the workers most likely not expecting a complete stranger following after their employer.

"This really hurts..." EXILE thought.
"IT WON'T GO AWAY!" ASYLUM thought.
"... what is this...?" REDEMPTION thought.
Cyclonic Cerberus ignored the internal pain in his mind. He didn't know why, but he REALLY wanted to go to the Panasonic Theatre. He teleported to downtown Toronto, atop of a building. He looked town and jumped off, gripping the walls as he slide down to the sidewalks. People below "ooh'd'" and "ah'd" as he slid down and they parted, creating a landing spot for CC.
"Woah, it's really him!"
"Hello sir... or, sirs. *giggle*"
Cyclonic Cerberus waved, saying hello to everybody. People asked what he was doing, he said it was his day off. He stayed for a little while for some casual conversation with the public and to meet some kids who looked up to the Maverick Hunter.

A bright crimson-haloed beam pierces the skies over Toronto's Roger's Centre and descends downward to land squarely within the large structure, bypassing it's roof. Once the light touched down, it immediately materialized into the menacing black form that took up Nemesis' shape.
The massive mechanical creature wasted no time ascertaining it's whereabouts. Unlike the giant's younger 'siblings', no sensitive internal electronic aviation instrumentation is installed in the brute, thus the threat that came with the common side effect of teleporting with such equipment did not falter the beast upon it's arrival. As soon as Nemesis became aware of where it was, it swung it's head side to side, seeing if the area was indeed as clear as Elzareth stated.
It has appeared the gravity manipulator was keeping his word; as the large recreational building was vacant, at least in the large open area the Jettegra prototype landed in. It didn't take any chances though. Heavy lifting legs carried the big bruiser away from the blistering brightness of the arena lights to the darkest shadows available, in hopes to obscure it from anyone unwelcome who would wander into the place.
Now in less lit territory, the emotionless mechaniloid had not much to do but sit tight, as it was instructed. It was a good call to have it's energy levels topped up before it came here. There was no telling how long it would take for this Cerberus to arrive, so an eye out had to kept for potential energy sources. There wasn't much for the Aquilo tech to fear though, for the prospect of being in a area filled with electronic billboards and sound and lighting equipment meant the pickings were good, albeit a bit risky safety wise to pick into.
Hiding in the recesses beside the tallest stands and basking in the darkness of the shadows, the giant sits and waits. It could do so for as long as it took.

He approached the ramp and stopped. In the centre of the barely illuminated baseball diamond lay a giant mechanical machine. He sighed and hopped the rail and stepped over the seats as he approached the pitcher's mound.

Despite most airplanes that usually take more than an half a day to get to their destinations, the airbuses appear to be working ten times faster, getting passengers to their destination in as little as a couple hours.
Hajime had just finished refining a few more Force Metals using the new recipes he downloaded into his FMG when he and the parrot felt a slight jolt. Looking out the nearby window, he sees the makings of a passageway between docking ports, indicating they had reached the terminal of Ontario's capital city. He quickly scoops the Force Metal into a jar before placing it in his arsenal pack and getting up to leave with the rest of the passengers.
Upon heading to the main lobby, he picks up a map of the country itself, studying it as he makes his way into the city to see where he should meander off to first.
The first thing that caught his attention along the was the CN Tower, said to be the tallest in the world prior to the construction of the Orbital Elevator. He contemplates checking it out, but is quickly caught off guard by the reflective lights of a stadium standing between him and the tower he was observing earlier. "Roger Centre" is written in red above the walls of monitors displaying every sports star of the current era.
The place appears to be abandoned; given the time of day, the season, and all the hype surrounding the recent incident at the bridge, he didn't seem at all surprised.
Hajime saunters over to the entrance and peeks around, seeing if it was still open before looking over to the parrot.
"There's no closed sign here," he said, "Want to take a quick exploration before the guards chase us out?"
The parrot twitches its head side to side before bouncing its body up and down, seeming to simulate a nod. Smirking a bit in anticipation, Hajime pushes the doors open and sneaks inside, looking around to make sure he isn't spotted and chased on sight before heading further into the stadium.

And Arby, if you're referring the 'giant mechanical machine' as Nemesis, he's not parked in the middle of the baseball diamond, he's waiting in the shadows of the stands/bleachers... But you know what? That doesn't matter at this point. Moving on!
===============================================
Nemesis was biding it's time when it detected motion out of the corner of it's vision. The visored head swooshed around to capture in it's sights what must be the Cerberus Elzareth mentioned. The beastly machine had the looks of the Hound of Hell from head to toe, and was, by the average person's standards, an impressive being to behold. Had Nemesis the means to think in such a way, it be impressed. This beast was almost as big as the Jettegra Prototype was.
Time to see what this is all about. Strong back arms brought up the giant's body from it's place of rest in the shadows of the bleachers and swung to it's side. Equally powerful legs began a slow steady pace to where the comfort of the darkness couldn't offer it's security blanket. Cerberus could see the full breadth of Nemesis in it's 14+ foot stride, and the glare that flashed off of crimson talons the length of Claymore swords.
The giant stopped about 15 away from the Hellhound out of caution. This could be a test to determine the loyalty of the new pact Elzareth had put down, and if the three-headed monster decided to start swinging those arms, Nemesis would need room to counter.
Before any sort of negotiation could begin, a fast survey of the surroundings made sure the two of them were alone in the immediate vicinity. What was going to go on may give any bystander a pre-warning as to what was to come.
But how to begin? The Canadian giant had no means of proper speech, and it was too early to use some of Elzareth's speech samples to declare it's alliance with the gravity manipulator. Maybe a prop would help jog this along in the right direction...
Slithering black coils crept along the width of Nemesis' right arm, making it's synthetic flesh come alive once more. The wiggling mass accumulated on the palm of the great hand that ended that appendage, and then retracted back into the pores that spawned them to reveal a vial of blue glowing liquid. Claws that could rip the armor off a main battle tank closed around the vial with surprising care and lifted it head-height so the Cerberus could see the object.
It was this that was to be the conversation starter. With any luck, it would garner a favorable response.

"so... that's why I felt I should come here... listen, forced comrade, I... I... I... I... I... I..." his voice skipped several times.
"AUGH YOU HAVE TO LET US... US... US... US..." the head on the right said in a cracking, maniacal voice.
"Ugh... this sucks, but you have to... y'know... give us some sort of signal that you're not using us and... acting as some sort of mole..." the head on the left said in a calmer voice that shook.
The Cerberus stopped grabbing it's head and all three heads cleared their throats with synchronized "ahem's" and the Cerberus stood up straight.

The camera-attached wire manages to slither its way towards the first row bleachers, slipping through the gaps between the folding chairs while reaching as high as it could without being spotted. From where it stationed itself, Hajime can see what looks like a Cerberus-type reploid confronting a Godzilla-size monster of a machine holding out what he could only assume is the same vial of goop that Omicron had been holding onto since his return from the bridge.
Hajime frowns in confusion, wondering of this mass of machine was associated in anyway to New Hera, or that mixed-eyed reploid he encountered back at Giga City. He presses some buttons on the visors, causing a panel to open on the slop of the lens as a small mic pops up and records any conversations the two might be having regarding the vial in the behemoth's claw.

Concentrating on what to do next as to not have the Cerberus strike out at it, Nemesis paid no heed to the screaming of citizens or screeching of tires out of the complex. If they had nothing to do with the giant, and what was going on now involving it, there was no cause for concern as far as it could tell.
The vial disappeared back into it's internal orifice, the black coils making a return to place it there. As that was happening, thought was turned to how to progress. The black-and-crimson mechnailoid swung it's head back and forth as Cyclone spoke, trying to keep up with the confusing messages coming from the different maws. It was as if this beastly Reploid had a hard time controlling itself. Despite the awkward speech pattern, Cyclone Cerberus had a very valid point in asking on a sign showing how he would know that he wasn't being used. The Aquilo tech did look suspicious and out of place wherever it went.
What was it that Elzareth said? Ah yes, this being shall attack unless the gravity manipulator's name was mentioned, words not exactly. It certainly would put a damper on Nemesis' day if it got in a scuffle with a fighter of this build, so now would probably be a good time to make good use of the speech sample Elzareth provided to keep those vicious hound claws out of the giant's neck. The sample that was chosen was picked carefully as to provide some sense of trust. Tuning its outward vocal emitters to sound exactly like Elzareth, the Northern Native began to speak coherently for the first time in it's life:
Quote
To company that recording, a single red talon outstretched to carve out Elzareth's name in large font in the soft man-placed earth, upside down from Nemesis' viewpoint (and quite elegantly) so it was more readable to Cyclone from his stance. The good thing about this soft patch of dirt is that it could be dug up and the message erased with ease once it was no longer needed.

"He has sent you on a wild goose chase. He never tells us directly where he wants us to go, but... you have to go to Algonquin Park now and meet up with another Reploid known as Kazuma. Give him this message: Level Out Video Emergencies, Delete Rampant... Software," Cyclonic Cerberus' three heads spoke out in synchronization.

But while this was a chase, there was more information to be had. While finding Algonquin Park wouldn't be much of a problem (there would no doubt be a information desk with a computer that would contain data for those kinds of points of interest somewhere in this complex), what did this Kazuma look and sound like?
Nemesis grumbled a low metallic squeal to sound it's confirmation as it copied the message Cyclone had relayed into memory. At the same time, it swung it's right foot out to sweep away the name in the dirt to make a new mound to write in. While it stabilized it's posture, more words were cleft into the earth, reading as follows:
What does Kazuma look like, and will you be escorting me to find him?
Nemesis noted the Hunter insignia proudly displayed on Cyclone's hide. The Maverick Hunters is known to the Aquilo tech from the data in several of the computer hacks it has performed in it's past. If the Cerberus were to escort, the great mech would get a lot less flak from observers, especially if it was made to look like the giant was captured.
=====================================================
OOC: Hey Arby, is Kazuma someone Nemesis would recognize by name and form in the information chip it was given by Elzareth? If it is, I'll edit this post to only ask if Cyclone will escort him and erase that paragraph about wondering what Kazuma looks like.

==========================================
Nemesis was alright with this answer. How many blue Reploids with an 'R' on their chest can there be in a place like Toronto? As the tri-headed hound limped away, the clawed giant performed a deep sweeping nod and grumbled low in acknowledgement. It was too bad Cyclone had other priorities; it would have been a lot easier navigating the streets of the city having him watching your back.
Again the mound of dirt under the mechaniloid's feet was swept, erasing the message carved into the terra. Now it was time to move on and meet the demands of this new objective.
Heavy footfalls carry Nemesis towards the entry gate to the stadium, but before the giant could leave outright, it was tempted to delight on a quick snack to top off it's energy reserves. The wait for the Cerberus wasn't a long one, but it couldn't hurt to be full on juice before embarking on a quest that will take who knows how long.
Stadium lights hung in their fixtures overhead, high behind the bleachers. There must be a panel that controls their output levels somewhere nearby. If there was, that would do. Nemesis cycled through it's vision modes to spot hot power sources in the dusk of the area and found a control panel for something not far ahead on a wall mount, a few paces from where the behemoth was already heading. A slight course adjustment later, a fast-hack with the dreaded coils was performed and energy was tapped, just enough to leave the mech topped off and any maintenance crews that may come in after it's gone guessing.
Now refreshed, it was off to find out where it's quarry was. Exiting the stadium and looking around, a computer was spotted at a information desk. Lumbering to the unoccupied station, the device was sitting in plain sight and within easy reach of the monster, but it wasn't necessary to break into this one. No, something more old fashioned proved to be just as valuable for this instance. Eying a pamphlet intended for tourists, it was plucked from it's stand with interest and unfolded with careful claws to be examined. Within it's folds was a map depicting Algonquin Park, and a route on how to get to it from the Roger's Centre. Well, isn't that just perfect.
The map was read to memory and the pamphlet placed back into it's holder, scarred by tears where it was held. Next was the tricky part: getting to Algonquin Park without causing a fuss.
Options whirred through dual processors, but only one sprang to mind as the least hassle free. This option would test endurance and mental focus to it's extremes in an environment that would tempt outrage and frustration in even the most placid of peoples. Despite it's natural calling, Nemesis would have to... Behave itself in the crowded, vulgar streets of Toronto.
Good thing the beast wasn't the emotional type.
Reasoning was that if there wasn't any reason to cause negative attention to it, Nemesis could fit in with the large Reploids, like Cyclone Cerberus, and walk the city like a citizen or a worker robot. The brute had never been to this municipality before, so it would not be recognized as a threat by the common populace, and as long as it stayed under the radar, the armed forces wouldn't be after it either. That is, until luck completely ran out and a off-duty air force operative happens to stride by on the same street and notice it there.
Even with that risk real, time was wasting. Ignoring the burning desire to eliminate every bystander it sees as a potential threat, Nemesis steps out of the Roger's Centre into the world and makes it's first attempt to actually mingle in with the ebb and flow of the crowds, even going so far as to stop at pedestrian crosswalk signs for traffic at intersections on it's way to the park and getting out of the way of oncoming people that came down the opposite side of the sidewalk, which was quite a task in itself for someone the size of a transport truck.
Although the giant was on it's best behavior, it still understandably garnered a lot of awkward looks from the populace. Wherever Nemesis went, people stopped and turned to stare at the big mech in mid-stride, eyes agape in wonder. Some people scurried past with haste, thinking this beast must be a massive Hunter on patrol and figured it's best not to obstruct it. Others were much less intimidated.
Not far from the target locale, the giant was stopped by a curious fellow with a camera. The middle-aged man came up Nemesis' side and waived his attention down to him. Holding up the photographic device in both hands so it could be seen, he spoke with a wide smile, not at all aware of the danger he's in.
"Excuuuuuuuse me! I'm sorry to stop you big fella, but would you be willing to pose with me for a picture? You see, my daughter is taking classes in Vancouver, and I know this would be a great photo to show her how cool Toronto is and hopefully convince her to come home and, you know, visit her old man once in a while, when her semester's over."
Twenty feet away was a woman dressed in yellow garbs holding a leash with both hands, binding a black-and-tan dachshund. She was undoubtedly the man's wife. She didn't like the idea of her husband getting his picture taken with such a dangerous looking figure, but she didn't want her cautions to stand in the way of her mate's idealistic undertakings, so she didn't voice her opinion. She just stood, forcing a smile.
Urge to kill, rising. Unfortunately, good behavior was still part of the game plan.
The man looked at Nemesis optimistically, awaiting a response. Nemesis, in turn, struck a powerful form, outstretching a raised arm overhead and reeling back the other with claws clenched, a pose fit for a God gesturing the heavens to open. The man's grin grew even wider at this, then he gave his camera to his wife and vaulted in front of the giant, mimicking it's pose but facing the opposite direction for contrast.
A classic prompt was cue to take the shot. "Cheese" came the woman's voice as she snapped the photo without need of a flash. Once the picture was taken, she looked down into the camera LCD display and waived her husband over to look at her handiwork. Upon his scan of the photo, his approval was signified with a thumbs up to the monster and a toothy grin.
Dropping the pose and returning to it's regular slumped posture, the giant did nothing more as the couple went off on their merry way, waiving behind them as thanks. Mental computations trained to conjure up reason for how these fleshlings found comfort and necessity in such tasks, but it found itself noting that such thoughts are wasteful and unproductive. Resuming it's course, the great black mech turned back to where it was going.
This wasn't realized at the time, but that photo was going to end up all over the internet, and inadvertently being seen by the eyes if the beast's pursuers soon enough.
But that was over Nemesis' head. The goal point was within sight now, and wide strides took the monstrosity where it needed to be ten minutes later. It was now staring at the entry gate to Algonquin Park.
More gawky stares were ignored as the park welcomed in it's newest arrival. Sharp vision swept the landscape for signs of this Kazuma person, but there was a lot of space to search and the Reploid may not even be there yet. It was decided that sitting tight was going to be the tactic once more, and a nice shaded spot near a huge tree was picked for the place to park.
There was a problem this time around though. Being in an open populated place like this left very few feed options, should the hunger rise again. It may become unavoidable to cause a situation if the quarry doesn't appear in due time.

He contemplates following after the larger of the two, wondering what he intends to do once he gets to Algonquin Park, but as he was making his way towards the exit, he noticed a bizarre fiasco careening towards the entrance to the stadium. Unsure of what was going on, and not in the mood to leave with more than a few oil stains on his robe, Hajime forcefully hangs back at the entrance and waits for the situation to pass before continuing his trail after the seemingly "stuck-out-like-a-sore-thumb" beast trampling its way through the city.

Any normal person would have either called the mad house or walked on, pretending not to notice for fear of being associated to the fiasco outside. Unfortunately, with the police already closing in, and spiritually raring to tackle anyone that leaves the building, Hajime felt he had no choice but to stick around and hope the crazed driver would do something to rectify the situation.
