Ok, so, I know many of you played some megaman x games, but, in your opinion, what was the worse??? And what was the best??? Many may have their opinions, so feel free to post. :grin:

In my opinion, X7 was without any doubt, the game that killed megaman x, the best for me, was X2. Feel free to post MAH BOIS. :zeropeace:

Your games are damn close to my picks. My best is X3 and worst being X7.

X1-X5 are all up on my list of all time favs, so it's not like X3 is waaay better than any of the others, it's just the one that stands out for me. X7 is a no-brainer for me, however, when it comes to the worst.

Well, for me, i would have to say the classic, X1. Has always benn my favorite, probably always will. And for the worst, well, my debut game I suppose, they screwed up my voice.

I liked all of them. Can't say I have a worst, but the three MMX games that stand out to me are X8, X, and X4.

Yeah, Capcom could have definitely spent more time on that collection like they did for the original collection. I thought the original collection was solid.

The worst and the best?

Well, I have to split my favorite in to two choices:

X1 is the best for nostalgic reasons. Also it has some of my favorite game BGM of all time.

But for some reason, at the same time I really love X6 for its bosses and what not. Also great music in there aswell.


And well... I have never played Mega Man X7, so I have to pick X4 to be my least favorite in the series appearantly.

Best: My opinion is X3. It took a good turn of events and gameplay focus.

Worst: Probably X7. I liked the game. But some events unfolded just didn't seem 'X' ish. Like Sigma dying from getting hit through the window...

well, i did like x collection alot, since i only played x6 when i has ps1, but, what could they do? add x7 and x8? x7 was released a year before, and x8 was just released :awesome:

Best: A tie between X2(for music if absolutely nothing else) and X5 because it was my first x title.

Worst: For a long time I hated X3(I chose Blast Hornet first, nuf said), but this goes to x6, hands down, for its lousy stages, pathatic bosses(did I even move when I fought Blizzard Wolf?), and wavering difficulty.

Honestly, they're all great but I have to give a negative thought towards X7. That 2D and 3D thing killed everything, also along with the English voice actors which pretty much also killed off everything as well, along with X's actions towards the "war". His whining makes him sound like a "W" every time he rants about it and honestly, I got tired of X whining about that (I hated the fact that X just sat back at the very beginning blabbering to Axl and all that crap). Also for the upgrading in X7... I hated that as well. X7 needs a lot of improvement.

Best is either x1 or x4. Worst? X8 or X3.

X1 is the first and will always be the best in my book. X4 was close second with the movies and split storyline.

Best: X4 and X8 because they had a lot of awesome features to mess with.

Worst: X6 and X7, just play it and you'll see why. . .

The rest are good, but they didn't have anything different to offer like replay value or extra content.

I'm not sure...it depends what games what I like the most. I don't hate the games, it's just the difficulty of how the game gets.

I'm honestly really surprised to see X3 on a few people's worst picks. Maybe I'm just really blind to something here, but how in the hell can it be worse than X7!? The gameplay is solid, there are TONS of hidden items (especially compared to other games in the series), the game has some of the best bosses, and while the music isn't the best, it's still pretty good. The level design is pretty good, too, and if you compare that to X6 or X7, it doesn't affect the gameplay the way the latter games' levels do.

I like 'em all, but X8, X4, and X5 are my top three. I don't hate X7, but I was disappointed with it. That's ok though, cuz X9's gonna be sick :awesome:

My favorite is MegaMan X for the SNES. I haven't played it, but it seems to me that X7 is the worst so I'm going to go with that. Out of the ones I have played: Command Mission.
