The trio arrives at the entrance of the linear maze that is the R&D Lab. Most of the rooms contained research into the recovery and observation of Force Metal, and how they can enhance a reploid's capabilities. While Massimo and the soldier from the detention cell were focused on finding an empty room to store the remains of the creature, Hajime was mildly distracted by the amount of reploid scientists chipping away at the ores while observing the pieces that stood out from the rest.

The soldier soon stops at the very far end of the hallway, almost startling Hajime into dropping his end of the stretcher. The soldier glares at him accusingly before turning and heading into the room on the left-hand side. They carefully lay the stretcher on one of the construction tables while Massimo lumbers in a few seconds later.

"So...now what?" he asked.

"Assuming our superiors are finished ripping what artificial hair is sticking out of their heads, they should be coming down here to examine what's left of the creature and see what we can uncover concerning its creation and whoever conceived it," the soldiers said before heading over to the large computer and typing in a command to patch its communications to the Command Center.

Once they got visual of both Stan and Rykov, the soldier throws a stern salute, not seeming to notice they were occupied with other matters, "Sir, we've successfully moved the remains of the creature into the R&D Lab. We're currently awaiting your arrival to give your personal observation of the matter."

The soldier waits until after Stan shuts off the com before going back over to the creature, looking towards Hajime, "I think that will be enough help for now. You can go back to whatever activity you were originally doing before getting caught in this fiasco."

Though reluctant to leave, Hajime figures he had interfered enough and decides to head out and spy on the Command Center to see what they were planning to do with the creature, if the situation still mattered to them. The soldier watches him leave before turning his attention to Massimo.

"If there is nothing else you need to attend to, I would appreciate it if you stay with me and keep watch of the creature until we get some personnel to uncover what little information we can get from its remains."

Massimo nods, feeling that now wouldn't be a good time to go anywhere with Marino currently in a bad mood and the base most likely on high alert and needing someone with S-Class experience to back them up at a moment's notice.

[Vérité]

"Hello," A reploid who seemed eerily similar to the Maverick Hunter life-savor units appeared from behind a closed door. His chest bore the Federation Army's symbol, followed by a red cross. A Field medic and possible researcher. "Let me take a look at this thing." He began walking towards the group with a giddy grin. " I haven't been given a lot of information on the incident. Could you please inform me, sirs?"

[White-Jet]

Having not seen a LifeSaver before, Massimo doesn't seem to notice the similarities as he approaches the scientist with a somewhat concerned look on his near obscure face.

"To be blunt, a friend of mine was a little...upset that one of these creatures has distracted her from an incident that brought it here," he said.

[Vérité]

"I can see," he said, examining a fiber left behind by the creature. His eye seemed to twist and turn like a microscope behind its peripheral lens. "This object isn't anything I'm familiar with. The substance is very dense, as I can tell.. was this thing slow moving?"

[White-Jet]

Massimo scratches the back of his head, "Slow...? It was inhumanly fast, maybe even more so than the speed-type reploids to date. It took down an entire unit without even trying...though that was probably due to their lack of comprehension on what they were."

[Vérité]

"This is a metal, I can tell. But for something so heavy, your description is too agile to be normal.." He seemed very perplexed and flipped the metal over once again, trying to find some missing link

[From Government Precinct]

Hajime saunters down the hallway towards the room the metallic creature was being held in, barely managing to catch the conversation concerning some dense metal that was seemingly outweighing Massimo's claim of it being near inhumanly fast. He would let the soldier speak up, but considering he didn't actually see its secondary capabilities it was probably best to point it out himself than risk another debate.

"I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it," he said, "But while they were waiting for orders on what to do with that creature, it started to shift its tangibility, almost like it was trying to wiggle its way out of the wires I had bound around it."

[Vérité]

"Fascinating.." He kept overlooking it, millimeter by millimeter, "However too peculiar. Perhaps this is a new and unstable substance. I'll have a look at its reaction to acid.."

[White-Jet]

The trio of spectators seemed nervous of the scientist's idea.

"Are you sure you want to do that NOW?" the soldier asked, "Don't you think you should do some other observations first before subjecting it to such a dangerous substance?"

[Vérité]

"I'm merely referring to hydrochloric acid. Its something meant to degrade small metals. If it melts perfectly, this substance will be more towards magnesium than titanium X. Just a measure to see how much testing will need to be done."

[White-Jet]

The soldier remained unsure before backing away and letting the scientist do what he wants with the piece of metal. Hajime continues to stand near the doorway before deciding to head out, believing he was no longer needed.
