I'm not underestimating. I give him full credit for his advanced Reploids, but again, I still stated that Gate never fully understood it, and if Gate can't, how can his Reploids be more advanced, especially if their original incarnations were made before Gate decided to go ax crazy with Zero's DNA?

As for the Sigma thing, I really did think that it was just Gate unable to completely fix Sigma due to his advanced nature, and given the dialogue of X6 (shitty, but still) it seemed that Sigma was Gate's last resort weapon, and it wouldn't make sense for Gate to just stop half way. And about Sigma, it stated that Cain gave Sigma his most advanced schematics indicating that Sigma wasn't the first but was also one of the most advanced, unless it was North America's version of Mega Man X... Then yeah, some of what I said trips on it's own shoelaces.

As for the Sigma Virus, I don't consider it a Cyber Elf. IT IS a Cyber Elf, and so are Reploid Souls which all Reploids have. It just wasn't recognized as a Cyber Elf until the advent of the Mother Elf in pre-Elf Wars times.

AAAAAAAAAAAAND back to the Copy Chip thing, as far as putting X and Zero's DNA onto the chips as pre-loaded DNA... Dunno. But I'm pretty sure the Copy Chips can go and copy it, at least temporary as far as Axl's Copy Chip went... Axl seemed to have a more direct approach to copying. He never relied on pre-loaded Data and instead gathered is own. Given that Dr. Cain tried to Replicate X and made Reploids from X, I'm sure the Copy Chip would have SOME form of "replication", beta at the most, at copying at least X.

Yeah if he was relying in pre-loaded data, it would have been shown in X7 possibly (possibly...not sure if it would have though). Though I can see why there would be a reason why X's and Zero's DNA wouldn't be in the chips along with Sigma's DNA though Zero has lost a body before....though I don't know how they would have obtained it other than Sigma having it thanks to the virus.

I also doubt the New Gens will have X and Zero's data preloaded because they are still alive. I mean, why give the DNA of an alive Reploid onto a Copy Chip? It would cause MANY problems.

true chibi. most probably they added the data of already dead reploids which would seem to be one of the reasons for why they added sigma

also if cyber elves are souls, then the chameleon chip must have smthn to do with that

The Chip has nothing to do with Cyber Elf's. The Reploid Soul once disembodied is essentially a Cyber Elf; a Personality program housed within a body of Energy.

yeah what i want to know is if Axl is a prototype and he was team up with red alert, did sigma have some one create Axl and if so why doe Axl not have sigma DNA. i mean if sigma did help in creating Axl since in megaman X8 he did say that Axl was a failed prototype if i remember right

Sigma is the first Repliroid, but also the greatest. In Cain's excitement, he simply built a Repliroid that was to be better than all others

Then the only thing that comes to mind is that when Cain merely fitted Sigma for combat, giving him the edge so he could be Commander.

As for Axl, his creator is unknown and if Sigma created Axl, why would he make Axl such an innocent kid with an admiration of X? If he did, the Terminator thing comes to mind... Playing the infiltration unit to get close before extracting DNA... OR, it could have just been Sigma learning of the plans for the Copy Chip like he's managed to do in the past with things like Repliforce and such.

yeah i get what you are saying with bring a question now in megaman CM i dont remember the name of the stage but like when Axl appear in the factory he said that his copy ability was created there with bring up more questions after that

Ulfat Factory produces Giga City's army, the Preons. Axl stated that he heard that Copy Chips may be made here... Which makes NO sense since Giga City is a 22XX thing while Mega Man X7 is 21XX. Axl OBVIOUSLY took note of the events of X8's ending about the Copy Chip production starting since Redips CLEARLY has a Copy Chip for Jango, the four Mavericks, and his Spider guise.
