Can Mega Man merge with Treble? Or Bass with Rush? Or Proto Man with either?

That said, not a bad question. I wonder that myself now actually.

Anyway, what about the issue of Treble being a wolf, instead of a dog?
And by the way, if you do like the idea of Tango being with Proto Man, at least if they put him with a fox, foxes are called "the "cat-like" canine" and even have cat-like pupils that are eliptical, and not just round like other species of canines. (Wolves, coyotes, dogs, etc) And as I stated, foxes are solitary canines.
Also, wasn't Tango a "she"? I thought I heard that before.

Yes they do...in a way. The way they are refered to and designed. Do we call Bass he, or she? Do we call Roll he or she? They could all be called the same Mega Man is programed to be Mega Man, not Mega Woman, but it does get a bit confusing in the X series world would effeminate male robots like Lumine and Optic Sunflower. But yeah, they are like angels...genderless, if you're truthful. (Hey Lumine, your Seraph form fits you more than you know

Also, Bass is not a clone. I dont know what you mean by the same prototype either.
Bass is modeled after Rock. In layman's terms, he is basically Wily's own version of Mega Man. A similar type of battle robot. He works mostly the same way as Rock. He is definitely more powerful than him, as Bassnium is the most powerful energy in the world in 20XX, but he still loses because he has nothing to fight for while Rock fights for justice and all that jazz thats been discussed before.
