This long bridge has been rebuilt since it's initial destruction during the Earth Crisis. It was reconstructed to be bigger, wider, stronger, and reinforced.


A peaceful day. Canadian Naval force is scouting the area as a daily check up. There has been a recent disturbance in the area. Several minutes prior, a large object appeared in the Northumberland Straight. It was unknown what it was, but the naval forces in the immediate area were deployed immediately. They were a branch off of the Maverick Hunters known as the Sea Hunters. In the area, a creature who came from the [Coast off of British Columbia]... It was a large, animaloid, three headed Hydra.

"Radars detect a large object... Getting closer to us!?" a Hunter said from the lead ship patrolling the area.

The captain on the ship looked over. "Prepare the torpedoes. It could be a foe." he said.

The Hunter at the Radar nodded and grabbed a mic. "This is Control Tower. Come i-" he stopped as the entire ship rocked. He looked down at the radar and saw the large object was directly under it. There was a large bang and the room they were in began tilting to one direction very fast.

"What happened!?" the captain asked.

"It's a foe!" he shouted as he grabbed the mic before the power got cut. "Power's lost! We have to-" before the Hunter could finish shouting into the Mic, the Control Tower exploded, along with the rest of the bridge.

The Tsunami Hydra tore a hole in the bottom of the main patrol ship and used the Hydro Pump in the engine room. The high pressure water tore through the engine causing the ship's destruction. Six other ships in the area, near the bridge itself immediately took notice. On the ships...

"What is the Federation's Hydra doing here!?" the captain of the smaller ship asked. "Feh, doesn't matter. Contact them immediately."

Somebody working the communications HUB in the Control Room nodded and began looking through the numbers to contact the Federation base. He saw it and punched it in and began to speak into the Mic. "Federation Base of New Hera, your Hydra just attacked our Command Ship at Northumberland Straight. Please explain how and why it's here." he shouted.

There was silence. There was another bang on the ship. The captain looked around to see four other ships have been destroyed simultaneously seemingly with mines. The person working the communications patched into the base closest to New Hera.

"Abel City Maverick Hunter base! We are under attack by a Federation Naval Defense Animaloid! Repeat, we are-AAUUUUGH!" the Operator said, being cutoff as he screamed due to the room exploding.

The final ship sent out one last message to the hunter's before being attacked themselves...

"Abel City! All of our ships are doomed, the Hydra is going for the bridge, humans are in danger! Help the-" was all that could be said.

The Hydra finished off the last ship, and turned it's heads to the Confederation Bridge. "... Destroy my target that I'm supposed to defend... I can't fight..." it said as it began swimming towards the bridge. People on the bridge saw the chaos as the ships went down and began to pick up speed, disregarding road rules and safety in favor of getting off the bridge the massive Hydra was heading towards. By the time the Hydra got to the bridge, only 20% of the people on it were off; each heading to either Prince Edward Island or the mainland. The Hydra's ice head and main head looked in different directions as it was in the middle of the bridge. The two heads shot out multiple ice bombs at high speed as it flew towards each end of the bridge. After some time, the bombs were at the end; most of them hitting their target and taking out the bridges entrances and exits. The humans were now trapped on the bridge. The Hydra's heads looked forward at the center of the bridge. Each head cocked backwards as it prepared to shoot. They lurched forward, shooting out streams of ice and water, annihilating the center area of the bridge. Humans and Reploids were already dying. Those still alive began either jumping off the bridge, driving off the ends to try and make it back to land, or began making various phone calls to anything; Federation, Maverick Hunters, Police, Air Force...

"SIIIIGGGGMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" the Hydra's three heads shouted out.

[From Vanallia Desert]

The gold glow of the Vanallia Desert's IT station quickly turns blue before dissipating, revealing the destroyed interior of the IT Bay. The second the station shuts off, Ryuta suddenly falls against the wall it stood against, indicating the rest of the ship had been washed up on shore at an angle.

He props himself on his elbows as he looks around for a way out, seeing two automated doors on adjacent ends, most likely to avoid clutter during evacuation or when reinforcements were needed. Why no one thought of this as they were being based round by a giant dragon was beyond him; probably too disoriented and startled by the sudden attack to bring up the idea.

Ryuta pushes himself onto his feet and stumbles towards the door pressing his back on the floor once he got there and slamming his feet against it, breaking it from its threshold and dropping him waist deep into the ocean. At this depth, the robe doesn't react and retreat into the medallion, but rather float along the surface.

Ryuta wads out of the shadows of the beached ship and climbs up the rocky incline until he found himself in the park near the bridge. Most of the civilians who dove off the bridge during the attack were washed up along the shore, both as corpses and exhausted lumps trying to catch their breaths from the arduous swim. He decides to help the ones that were still alive while he waits for the Hunters to show up, jumping down from rock to rock until he reached the furthest from solid ground, then hauling the person onto his shoulders and jumping back onto the grassy terrain before laying him in the shallow area of the trees' shades to get as much sunlight as possible without being spotted by the dragon despite its attention being drawn on the remaining occupants of the bridge.

R, Kazuo, Chiba, and Axl arrived from [Hunter IT Bay]. Chiba, Axl, and Kazuo arrived on the mainland side of the bridge while R went to Prince Edward Island. There was many screams heard. Chiba looked onto the water to see people in emergency life boats, or coming from Prince Edward Island on boats... Only to see them sinking, getting hit with ice shards, or seeing a tail-like object hitting them. People were jumping off of the bridge not caring about the high fall and swim just to get to main land. Chiba saw as people came from the shore with broken limbs, some dragging themselves, others dragging unconscious or dead. This was just the humans. The Hydra however was nowhere in sight.

"Where is it!?" Kazuo asked. Chiba shook his head. "NO TIME TO ASK!" Chiba shouted as he dashed onto the road and towards the bridge itself. Axl did the same, preparing his pistols. Kazuo started out in a weak dash before beginning to just run rather than dash.

[From Hunter IT Bay]

The legendary Hunter, Zero, and detective, Omicron, arrived in pulses of light along with the others on the mainland near the bridge. Zero quickly drew the Z-Saber handle from the unit his back, and switched it on. A beam of green light extended from the blade as he kicked forward to follow Axl. He was momentarily struck by the frantic nature of the scenario, but knew him, X, and Axl were the most qualified to take down the Maverick itself. Some of the others would have to help the escaping humans.

Omicron was stunned momentarily by the scene of human survivors struggling to get to the mainland. The detective proceeded towards the nearest shoreline to help the injured humans.

"Hold on!" he yelled, approaching the nearest group...!

[Trip Dering]

Takashi arrived with the others to a scene of total chaos. He saw the various hunters dashing and running off toward the other end of the bridge. He then noticed the detective moving toward a group of humans. Realizing that he knew absolutely nothing about this incident, he thought well... can't say I wasn't surprised... before dashing after Omicron. "Let me help you!"

As Ryuta was moving to the next person, he noticed several other survivors clambering around the rocky shores of the island and pulling those who could barely move towards the same grassy terrain. He contemplates whether to continue helping out when he notices a flash of light a distance from the shores; turning around, he sees one of the familiar Hunters, Axl, and the kid from the New Hera Amusement Park, Kazuo, being accompanied by two more reploids, most likely the ones the scientist wanted him to give the Ordarium sample to.

Now would have been a good time to track them down and hand over the vial, but he then sees Zero teleport in and rush off to help the other Hunters battle the sea-dwelling dragon.

Zero is the last person Ryuta wants draw attention from; no matter what the situation or how many people attest to his decision for coming here, Zero will still use every excuse within the three laws to keep Maverick Hunter believing he is a threat to human safety and provoke them to apprehend and drag him back to their base to be put under cryogenic suspension.

Even though the dragon attacking the bridge was a much bigger concern than the removal of a "traumatized case" whose only cause for concern is encouraging the rest of humanity to follow the examples of the organization that mutilated him, Ryuta wasn't going to take any chances standing around, contemplating whether the first group that teleported around Axl and Kazuo were the ones the scientist pointed out earlier. He pulls the hood further over his head to cast more shadows along his face while making his way back towards the beached ship, intending to hide out there until the situation has quelled enough for him to try and approach the detective, who had also shown up alongside Zero, without alerting the more flustered Hunters to his approach and recognizing the face under his hood.

(I'll post X's arrival once the other Hunter's arrive, I just wanted to get Ryuta's reaction out of the way)

[IT bay]

The Violet hunter teleported in a little off-stray course; she had been zapped in right on the bridge! Surrounded by panicking humans and reploids she spotted someone out of the chaos! "No way," she dashed over while also keeping a look out for the massive hydra.

"Betty, that you.. oh my god, you Hunters pick wonderful-" the red reploid coughed immensely- "timing."

"Captain, what happened to you?" She asked, seeing the missing limbs from her former Captain. No asking why he was here, straight to the point.

"The Federation loyalists dispatched me to lead a Black Ops squad in order to keep more reconaissance on the bugger because more mav.." he coughed even more, nearly as a roar from somewhere echoed in-"Look you understand the shenanigans more than I do... just forget about me for now, focus on your mission. Its why I promoted you to begin with years ago.."

She nodded hesitantly and ignited her scimitar. "Alright then, I'll come back for you!" She dashed off towards the edge of the bridge, still trying to avoid civilians. "This is Juno, I'm directly on the bridge! Visuals?"

Chiba came up to the bridge itself with Axl and Kazuo following. Coming onto the bridge, they already find a wide gap in the road itself. The only way across is the heavily unsturdy I beams on the sides. Chiba made no hesitation and did a dash jump, almost clearing the pit. He fell and landed directly on the I-beam and jumped as soon as he touched, only denting the weakened metal. Axl jumped and hovered the way while Kazuo merely floated across the gap itself. It was around 10 feet wide. Chiba heard roars as the Hydra was screaming. Getting onto the first isolated piece of road, people were already shoving passed him, some jumping into the water while others tried the I beams only to injure themselves.

"Dammit!" Chiba shouted.

On all of the Hunter's comm's...

"This is Pallatte. Juno is located on the third isolated piece of bridge, only 2-10ths of the way to the middle. The I-Beams exposed in the gaps are sturdy enough to allow for one Reploid to jump on and off within a second. Any longer and the metal could weaken which could lead to the entire section of the bridge to fall over. Juno, send out an SOS. We can lock onto your signal that way and transport any civilians from the area to Hunter Base." Pallatte said to them all.

Another voiced started up.

"This is Alia. I'll be managing the teleporation of the innocents to Hunter Base. There is slight disturbance so we can't pinpoint the Hydra's current location. Layer is working on that. As for the rest of you, as Juno was told to do, simply send out an SOS when next to a group of civilians and we can track your position and teleport those to safety." Alia said.

It was clear that there was some static. There was something causing interference in the area.

"Yes! Thank you." Chiba shouted as his microphone seemed to be already attached to him.

Chiba arrived at the first isolated piece of the bridge and immediately released an SOS signal. Several humans and Reploids teleported one by one. The interference was preventing a mass transportation. Axl saw that as the humans and Reploids cleared, there were common enemies around. Mettaurs were attacking the humans as there were already several corpses just from Mettaurs. They seemed much more violent than before. A smallpack of six Mets approached the Hunter's on the first area meanwhile in Juno's location, as soon as the transmission ended, Mets were already ambushing her and the others on the bridge. Same goes for the mainland as Mets came from the shores, or jumped off of the overhead supports and wires. Kazuo didn't realized it before, but now he did. He was in this for real.

OOC: I still think transporting hundreds of civilians to the Hunter Base in Abel City is not reasonable. Surely there's somewhere else they can be transferred?

Zero was irritated by the panicking civilians. This made the situation infinitely more difficult. He could only feel a little more relieved as they were slowly being transported out of the area. The oncoming Mechaniloids, though, were quickly becoming a nuisance. By then, Zero had arrived at Axl's and Chiba's position.

"What are you guys doing! Take those Mechaniloids down!" he yelled as he rushed past the group and several fleeing civilians! He slashed upwards at a nearby Mettaur in a vertical swing, catching it from below its sturdy helmet!

Omicron wouldn't have the chance to thank the other Reploid's offer to help as the Mettaurs began to descend from the bridge and follow the civilians onto the shore! The detective activated a signal to his position when he finally arrived to help the group of civilians! At the same time, he aimed at several Mettaurs trailing the group and began to release a volley of rapid-fire shots at any Mechaniloid that approached, being careful not to injure any civilians...!

[White-Jet]

X arrives shortly after Juno, immediately taking notice if the sudden flood of Mettaurs pouring from the bridge and heading towards the shoreline where most of the civilians had retreated to. He grits his teeth before aiming his X-Buster at the rear of the swarm and charging his buster for a spread shot that would destroy most of the clutter while drawing the surviving ones towards him. He doesn't want to risk going any further than that until most of the civilians have been removed from the area.

Ryuta stops a few meters from the beached ship and turns to see the Mettaur swarm attacking every civilian in the area. He grits his teeth, being helpless to join in without drawing attention from the Hunters he didn't want to be noticed by, but soon finds that his reluctance to stay out had been dashed as most of the hoard had spotted him and began scuttling and bouncing towards him.

Tightening the pressure of his clenched teeth, he shoves his hand through the robe and into his pants pocket and pulls out his low-powered beam saber, swinging it towards the first Met that jumped at him, barely managing to activate its dull blade long enough to smack it across the eyes and into the other oncoming Mets, leaving it permanently blind, but not irreparable.

Unable to see, the Met begins going berserk, bashing and shooting all the other Mets standing in its way, provoking them to fight back only to start accidentally hitting each other and confusing themselves into an all out massacre. Ryuta saw it fitting to leave them to their own fiasco and continue to the beached ship, but by now the noise would have drawn half the Hunters' attention towards the onslaught and eventually notice him making a break for the beached ship, leaving the grave possibility of uncovering the IT coordinates to the Vanallia Desert's underground base and seizing control of it just so he would have one less shadow to hide in and "fuel his hatred for humankind". Not wanting to let that happen, he instead makes a break for the shades of the mainland's park, making it seem like he was running to safety rather than to a close hiding spot where he can still see the action and make the appropriate exchange of the Ordarium.

[Trip Dering]

Takashi noticed the mets coming nearly too late... one had just barely reached attacking distance and he kicked it with such force it flew out into the water. This was going to be a chore, keeping the mechaniloids away from the civilians while that beast was attacking. But he was skilled at mechaniloid erasure. Activating his Beam Whip, he leaped forward and dove into a roll while slashing, catching the undersides of several mets and flipping them. Upon standing back up, he shot each in turn and watched as they were annihilated. A few more moves like that and the area would be secure for a while. He watched as the civilians teleported out, careful to keep the mets from reaching them. All in a days "work," I suppose...

[Vérité]

Juno immediately swiped her scimitar across the ground, slicing open two of the mettaur's hardhats and destroying them as the others fired their small bullets at her. She took them right in the chest, but winced only and backed away. "Okay people! Gather in safe areas for SOS teleportation!"

Chiba looked at Zero with slight annoyance. "Kinda took us by surprise..." he thought as he dashed forward, kicking a Met off of the ground and into a Titanium beam supporting the bridges walls. It hit it bad side and exploded. The other Mets ran away in fear, jumping off of the bridged area they were on. These Mets acted scared once one of them was attacked like they were abducted. Chiba wondered what was up before releasing an SOS. The humans and Reploids in the immediate area teleported the instant Chiba did that. On Juno's bridged area, the humans and Reploids rushed towards Juno, not bothering to give her room. They were panicking and not thinking rationally. Chiba looked over at the next bridged area. The second before the one Juno was on. Chiba dashed towards the edge, preparing to jump before water spurted up from the lake itself and a long, massive metallic object raised itself. Chiba identified this as the Hydra's neck. Kazuo followed Chiba but stopped when the Hydra's neck was shown. Axl looked at it and his jaw dropped. He was unsure what this was due to not fighting the Hydra before, but it was massive. It came up and took out the second bridged area preventing easy access to where Juno was and it effectively doomed the humans and Reploids on the bridge. Before Chiba or Axl could react, the Hydra's neck quickly retracted into the water, unphased by the falling bridge on it's neck. The bridged area Chiba, Axl, Kazuo, and Zero were on shook slightly.

"DAMMIT!" Chiba shouted as he saw the massive gap to where Juno was located.

The Hydra was already moving around underwater, it's body barely visible through the rushing waves. Axl looked into the water seeing the massive size as it shook other areas of the bridge.

Meanwhile, Mega Man R was running around Prince Edward Island, releasing an SOS in various areas after filling the innocents in of the dangers and teleporting them off the island.

"This is Layer. The Hydra is able to deploy small scale enemies which are currently terrorizing the innocents on the bridge. They are mainly cannon fodder; a decoy to distract you. Do your best to simply release SOS' to the humans and Reploids trapped on the bridge. We can distinguish innocents from common Mavericks so you don't need to worry about teleporting Mets to the base. The Hydra also has a high-pressure water pump that can easily tear through the bridge and Reploids with ease. There is little to no warning for this maneuver." Layer said, already working on analyzing the data she had available to her.

[OmegaMan]

"Blast!" Zero yelled out as he regained his balance. That was one of the largest Mavericks he had ever seen...! And that was only one of its heads! Taking down this monstrosity would be no easy task. He carefully contemplated how to proceed, taking in the information that Layer had provided. "So the only way we'll be able to fight this thing..." he said aloud as his grip on the Z-Saber tightened, "is to get everyone out of here first...! A cowardly move on this monster's part."

IIn between Takashi's maneuver and giving the SOS signal nearby groups of civilians, and even witnessing one of the Hydra's heads attack the bridge, Omicron briefly caught a glimpse of something or someone attack one of the Mettaurs, causing it to seemingly go blind and attack its Mechaniloid brethren. The result caused the group of Mechaniloids to slowly turn against each other in confusion. Confident that whatever had happened rendered that particular Mettaur unit useless, the detective was able to focus once more and annihilating any more Mettaurs that approached. He turned his attention upwards towards the bridge, firing at Mechaniloids that were jumping from the bridge to attack survivors down below! The detective looked around again, seeing another group of survivors huddled together trying to make it inland. He ran over to them, tapping his communicator with his free hand to activate the SOS signal and secure the survivors' safety.

[White-Jet]

X curses under his breath upon hearing what the Hydra was capable of. If any of the distractions start to provoke it while it still has innocence in its bind, it could destroy the bridge in its flustered disorientation. Any thoughts of dealing with the swarm has quickly left his mind as he starts moving towards the newly trudged group of humans near Omicron and Takashi's location and releasing his own SOS signal to get them out of the area, taking potshots at any mets that tried to gun them down while teleportation is being registered.

"Isn't there anything that can keep the civilians safe while their being teleported out of the area?" he asked, "The IT can't teleport an entire traffic without sacrificing some of its RAM, and the more we focus on the civilians escaping the bridge, the more chance that Maverick has of wiping out the ones still trapped on it.

Ryuta pokes his head around the tree he hid behind, seeing X now joining the detective and another Hunter in evacuating civilians. Worried he might be spotted, he clambers up the tree, hoping to stay hidden within the leaves covering its branches. Though he had been aware that X was starting to understand his ability to adapt and function like a human being, he still doesn't trust he won't be apprehended at first glance, especially with Zero around to pressure him into remembering why he needs to be put to rest.

Ryuta doesn't want to keep assuming Zero's is the only Hunter in the base who wants to bar his very existence from the knowledge of the public, but his last encounter 50 years ago continues to negate any reason to believe he would eventually follow the same assumption as X and any other veteran Hunter who began to notice how well he was regaining his humanity despite their hardwired calculations on how humans would react after such a traumatic nightmare. This only raised the possibility that once the situation had been dealt with, Omicron would most likely leave with X, ruining the very reason he came here in the first place. Ryuta needs to find some way of getting the vial to him to give to the three reploids without X and the other Hunters noticing and inadvertently popping the cork keeping the Ordarium inside.

Looking down at the tree, he noticed that some of its bark is beginning to lose the sap keeping it glued to its side. An idea soon pops in his head as he begins looking around for a sizable piece of bark before spotting one off to the side, barely noticeable by anyone with a simple eye. Keeping an eye out to make sure none of the Hunters were looking, he positions his knees on two different branches, bunching the tails of his robe to one arm while flipping upside and grabbing the loose bark with his other hand, tearing it out with a barely audible ripping noise. He quickly flips back into his normal position before anyone heard the noise and examines the bark, seeing the sap still oozing from its tan side, then reaches into his pocket and pulls out the Kazuo plushie he got from the crane game at the Amusement Park, pressing its back against the sap before tugging on it to make sure it doesn't slip out during the next phase of his plan.

Ryuta reaches into his other pocket and pulls out the vial of Ordarium, placing it on the plushie and tying its arms tightly around it so it doesn't jostle loose and shatter on any of the sparse rocks making up the grassy slope. He then looks around for something to carve into the back of the bark so the detective would be able to see it before he decides to tamper with the contents. Seeing nothing he could reach without leaving the shadows of the tree, he sighs with reluctance before pulling one of his wings forward and stabbing it into the thickest branch he could find, ripping a hole into it while sending feathers fluttering down to the roots and grass below.

Disregarding any possibility anyone noticing the oddly colored feathers, Ryuta pulls the wing back, ripping out more of its feathers and the meshed fabric holding them together while exposing the metallic structure that controls its stiffness and flexibility. He then takes the smallest metallic bone and snaps it off the structure, using the broken end to carve a drawing of an uncorked vial tipping to the side and spilling the content, then scratching an "X" over it in the hopes it the detective would know he shouldn't open it. He next scratches the letter "R" in the center of the bark before scratching an arrow pointing from the vial towards it. Finally, to make sure the "don't open" message sinks in, Ryuta bites the tip finger of his glove and pulls it off, using the broken end of the bone to slit the center of his index finger, causing blood-like fluids to seep out the opening which he then rubes onto the "X".

After checking it over to make sure everything is secured, Ryuta pulls his glove back on before sliding back down the obscure side of the tree and peeking around it enough to place the bark on the edge of the slope and position it towards the detective. Once confident of the angle, he pushes it down the slope before jumping back into the shadows of the trees to wait and see what happens next.

He is completely oblivious to the lone, orange feather that had somehow gotten stuck on the sap of the bark during the process.

[Trip Dering]

Takashi felt the bridge shudder and looked towards the source of it, just in time to see the object sink back below the surface. Whatever that was... it's HUGE... he thought, momentarily distracted. That distraction was corrected abruptly, however, when he noticed a few stray mets approaching him again. Taking a few hits from their fire, he began to attack them again - but something caught his eye. In the distance he noticed a figure acting strangely in the park area. However, this was of no importance to him, the figure was not in a dangerous (at least for now) place, and he still had mets to worry with. Stomping down on the nearest one to confuse it, he then flipped it over with his foot and kicked it into a crowd of its fellows. When they collided, he followed through with a few shots, once again clearing the area. "All right, this is getting annoying," he said out loud as he moved to a different area.

The crowd was becoming unbearable as she finished off two more, this met being trampled by reploids and humans. She felt herself pocketed, holding her sword in the air to prevent any harm done to innocents when behind her she quickly turned. People darted while the bridge collapsed, and she tensed. "Chiba!" She shouted, a sudden expression of worry washed across her face.

Chiba saw the sudden chaos going on the next bridge. He stepped backwards, before running and doing a dash followed by a jump, still dashing in the air. His dash was fast enough to completely avoid stopping. He flew towards the I-Beams sticking out of the end of the bridged part Juno was on. It was a nub sticking out and Chiba flew towards it. He fell down, unable to make it all the way but kept his arms up and braced for an impact. He grabbed a hold of the I-beam's bottom. His legs swung forward. They slapped into the bottom of the broken bridged area. Chiba flinched as the massive stubbing of all his toes happened. His legs swung back slowly as the initial slapping into the bridge. He yanked himself up when his legs were swinging back so his body was straight, yanking himself up and grabbing any poles, pipes, or wires sticking out of the bridge to yank himself up. As soon as his foot could touch the wall, he yanked his arms up and used a light dash to execute the wall jump directly onto the bridge's surface. Chiba released the SOS immediately, teleporting half of the civilians on the third bridged area. Almost immediately after, he ran up to the next group of civilians on the bridge before they approached him or Juno and released a second SOS signal. Shortly following, they were teleported off of the bridge.

"Are you alright!?" Chiba asked as he saw whatever small time enemies were still there approach them.

He ran forward and merely kicked the now hat-less Met into another Met. The one he kicked exploded and made the last Met stagger back off of the bridge. Axl looked at the walls of the bridge. He ran towards them and did a dash followed by a jump and proceeded to wall jump up the wall to the top of the suspension. He ran across the broken and dangerous suspension that rocked and creaked with every step Axl took. His hover would have allowed him to cross the large gap that Chiba, with his incredibly fast dash barely made it over but he wanted to test the suspensions to see if the others could follow since he could hover if necessary. Kazuo looked at Axl and then back to Zero. Kazuo generated a gravity field around himself. Before he could move however... Water shot up from next to the bridge. Lots of water. A large head popped out of the water. IT was the Hydra's second head looking down upon the small bridge.

"Jeez, big guy... That thing could swallow six of me whole!" Axl said in excitement and shock as well as fear.

Kazuo looked up at the massive head. He staggered back and fell to the ground, his field falling apart. The vibrations of the bridge itself caused the suspensions Axl was on to fail. He fel backward off of it as it began to crumble. he was almost upside down when his head kicked in. He quickly flipped himself around in the air and activated his hover, hovering back to the bridged area Zero and Kazuo were on.
