The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011, commonly known as E3 2011, is the upcoming 17th Electronic Entertainment Expo held. E3 is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The event will take place on June 6 - 9, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. E3 is used by many video game developers to present their upcoming games and game-related hardware. E3 2011 will be broadcast on G4.
Microsoft's press conference will take place on June 6, 2011 at 9am PST, like Sony's event it will take place the day before E3. The event will focus on the Xbox 360 as Microsoft calls it the "Xbox 360 E311 Media Briefing" event. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and possibly another Call of Duty title are expected to be shown during Microsoft's press conference.
Sony's press conference will take place on June 6, 2011 at 5pm PST, the day before E3 officially begins. The press conference is widely expected to focus on Sony's upcoming Next Generation Portable device as well as their PlayStation 3 console. It is rumored to last 5 hours long.
Nintendo's press conference will take place on June 7, 2011 at 9am PST at the Nokia Theatre. Nintendo is widely expected to officially unveil its next home game console, which is expected to be released in 2012. The console will likely be playable to attendees of the event.
Konami will have its own pre-E3 event on June 2, 2011 prior to the beginning of E3 to showcase its games. The event will include live events in a number of cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, São Paulo, and Mexico City.

@Arby...What's with some of the titles being highlighted in purple? Does that mean they're being pushed back until next years release?
Some people are being hyped this year while some are not....I think this year's E3 will be on the "ok level" nothing too big or disappointing because that entire list seems fair, though I am seeing a lot of sequels and spin-offs on that list.

I guess Star Wars: Old Republic looked pretty good, but I'll tell you what it is about MMORPG's that turns me off, most of them are stat-grinding done through mouse-clicking. Sure, the story is immersive and playing with a whole community of like-minded people is appealing, but the gameplay holds no interest for me. A friend of mine said, "But you can be a Sith lord and lead a Sith army!" If it's a bunch of mouse clicks while you watch on-screen Sith lord command a bunch of AI soldiers, no thanks. That's why Rockman Online looked appealing, it played like a Mega Man game, with MMO elements. DC Universe Online as well.[/rant]
I'm pretty psyched about RE:Revelations on 3DS because it's getting back to the core of the RE series, and it looks like more RE5: Lost In Nightmares. I hope the Legends 3 presentation is compelling enough for Capcom to complete and publish it too. I think much of the franchise future rests on that game.
I would like to see some Catwoman footage from Arkham City too.
