"Hey, back up! Now!" The standing guard commanded to Kazuma. "I will fire upon any disobeying reploids!"

Inside the small tunnel the other knew what was happening. He couldnt maneuver and fire his weapon in this confined space. "Dr. S!" he whispered.

Ryuta was not too far behind, noticing the Feds threatening to fire at Kazuma despite his condition; they were most likely non-corrupt and were defending the lone human in the room.

A closer look at the human revealed that he was the creator of this Maverick, leading to the implication that he may have had a hand in the possible return of Sigma, and he was aware the supposed non-corrupt Feds would be no match for their presumed threat if they engage him in a blind attempt to protect the only human in the room.

Though he's lived long enough to know that just because he didn't trust humans based on the flow of their spirits doesn't mean he should immediately charge in and declare him a threat. But knowing that the human could simply stop this reploid with a simple command made him even less likely to want to back off and see what was going to happen next. While everyone was seemingly distracted by Kazuma's presence, Ryuta grabs his medallion and yanks it off, revealing his Blazkrieg uniform.

After removing his gloves and pulling his hair into a topknot, he takes out his F-Saber and makes a cautious move towards the room, hoping to see what happens next in time to decide whether to strike or back off.

Kazuma raised his left arm which changed instantly and sprayed large plasma shots in the direction of the guard at rapid fire.

"Ordarium does wonders..." Kazuma thought as he fired around 10 shots.

Dr. S heard the rapid plasma shots and instantly recognized it as his design.

"So it's true. He is Maverick... I thought it was SYN-UNKNOWN again." Dr. S thought.

He heard a whisper, wondering what that was. He knelt down to the point where he couldn't see out to main street to see Kazuma when he came around the small bend towards the Cafeteria.

"... Yes?" he asked as he scratched the lens on his glasses.

[Vérité]

"We have to go! Now!" The one in the tunnel commanded fast. "The evacuation convoy leaves in less than an hour!"

The soldier who had raised arms fell into pieces at Kazuma's feet.

[White-Jet]

Ryuta grits his teeth at the sight before picking up speed towards Kazuma, swinging his sword towards his firing arm in an attempt to slice it clean off its shoulder. He was in no condition, nor position, to use his bombs, knowing there may be chemicals and electronics that might be vulnerable to the ingredients used to make them.

Kazuma heard Ryuta coming towards him as he spun around, seeing who it was and he instantly jumped upwards, cracking the ground doing so.

"OW!" he shouted as his hydraulics were shattered.

He began to temporarily hover after he reached the peak of his jump while he kept his Buster out.

"I take it this is due to the... Um, the... The explosion of the Fedemication HQ...?" Dr. S asked in regards to the request to confirm.

He heard a short bit of commotion outside the cafeteria.

[Vérité]

The Doctor always had a problem saying normal words like that. "Yes! Its no longer safe with all the Anti-Fed and Hunter feeling.. You're endangered."

[White-Jet]

Ryuta backs away from Kazuma, unsure of whether he was full of that Ordarium stuff Elzareth once threatened to inject him with or not. He starts to make his way into the room, his F-Saber still aimed at Kazuma, wondering whether the discombobulated-looking scientist was going to call off his reploid, or flee with the surviving Fed.

"... One second, first..." Dr. S said to the soldier.

Dr. S stood up and pushed passed the Federation soldiers and began into an awkward run towards Kazuma. It was an oddly fast run for a human. For some reason, he left the cafeteria, nearly running into Ryuta, to the point where he could see Kazuma.

Kazuma saw as Ryuta continued running towards the cafeteria, nearly running into somebody in a lab coat. Kazuma dropped to the ground disengaging the hover.

"Oh, I just figured you'd actually attempt to escape before saying hi..." Kazuma stated.

[Vérité]

"Doc-" The Soldier growled and moved about a yard, pressed himself against the exit hatch without opening it and loaded his pistol.

Ryuta barely feels the scientist bumping into him, distracting him from keeping his focus on Kazuma, though not enough to make him lower his guard as he was still searching the scientist's spirit and emotions for any indication that he was coming by to call him off or say something before taking the escape route uncovered by the less corrupt Feds.

One things for sure, he seems fully aware that Kazuma may not willingly comply with whatever he has to say and could very well turn on him without warning.

"Look, I won't beat around the bush and mess around. I want you to fix me up. I can still fight these Fed's with ease, but there are some Maverick Hunters who pose a threat. Don't, and I kill until you comply." Kazuma stated in a rough tone.

Dr. S knew Kazuma wasn't joking. He knew him well enough. "... It's true... You are a Maverick..." Dr. S stated.

He looked around at the Federation soldiers and the other professors in the Cafeteria. He saw as some students started coming into the Hallway as classes were ending. It seemed everything was pouring into Kazuma's favor right now. Dr. S shook his head and looked over at the soldiers near the exit.

"... Well? We're waiting." Kazuma said, impatient.

"... One second, R..." Dr. S said as he slowly walked over to the other soldiers.

Kazuma slammed his foot into the ground, ignoring the pain. "DON'T CALL ME BY THAT NAME!" Kazuma shouted in rage as he seemingly disliked his actual name. "I am NOT a line of your stupid Reversals."

Dr. S shook his head as he approached the soldiers. "... I'm doing it... For the better of all of us. IT's up to you to allow it." he stated to the soldiers while more students slowly came into the hallways and noticed the commotion.

Ryuta listens in to what the doctor was suggesting before reluctantly stepping out of his way and deactivating his F-Saber, feeling he had every right to repair Kazuma despite knowing the risks following his recovery.

"... But if we let him get repaired, even more will die." a soldier said to Dr. S.

The ones there nodded.

"... Um, well, even so... You are fine soldiers and... Um, if you were to die, it would be a loss of those needed for the future... It's better than everybody dying..." Dr. S said once more.

The soldiers reluctantly nodded their heads.

"... They aren't corrupt... Elzareth screwed up..." Kazuma thought.

Dr. S looked over at Kazuma who slowly walked towards them. The Fed's raised no arms. Dr. S motioned for Kazuma to come forward. Kazuma did so. The Federation soldiers stepped back. Dr. S crouched down and crawled into the hole.

"... Make them drop their weapons... Toss them into the hallway..." Kazuma said.

"Well, you heard... The um, the Reploid..." Dr. S said as he crawled into the exit.

The soldiers complied, and tossed their weapons out of the cafeteria into the hall. Kazuma nodded and crouched down and entered the exit after Dr. S. They seemed to be in a pseudo air-vent with a clear view of down below; all the way to the bottom. Dirt was kicked up. Dr. S and Kazuma were both ensnared by how high they were.

Ryuta stood in his place, reluctantly pocketing his F-Saber as he contemplates whether he should follow after them or leave, trusting the scientist would make sure Kazuma doesn't kill anyone on his way out.

Dr. S followed the soldier, with Kazuma following. Kazuma had a different way of crawling that was effective. He positioned both his arms and put himself on his back to push with his feet while he could use either arm to use his saber above him or behind him.

"The hell are we going?"

"Um... Somewhere, R..." Dr. S said.

Kazuma stopped and proceeded to have a freakout in the tunnel. "I AM NOT R." he shouted. "Well... just, y'know, accept it... Easier for you than... Me..." Dr. S said. Kazuma let out a scream which echoed out of the tunnel into the cafeteria. They were about halfway. Dr. S realized now it sloped. It was hidden by the pipes of the University cafeteria. Directly below them was another smaller building on ground level than the elevated highway floors the University was on. The building was a Force Metal lab. Dr. S looked forward and continued crawling. Kazuma was getting bored of the crawling which seemed to go on forever. After a while, the pseudo pipe they were in immediately began to get wider and taller. Soon they could stand up. They stood on metal with a small light illuminating the area. There was a small latch on the wall which opened up into a door.

"... The hell are we going?" Kazuma asked once more.

Ryuta should continue to wait until he senses an opportunity to take action, but doesn't trust that the scientist won't stop Kazuma from laying waste to the University once his repairs have been made, nor did he trust that the Maverick, himself, won't snap his neck the second he's back to normal.

He starts to move closer to the vent, intending to follow after them and make sure Kazuma leaves without taking any casualties for the sake of pleasing himself.

The soldier undid the latch and pushed the door open slightly. He looked to the left and right, seeing no students.

"Clear" he said.

Dr. S and Kazuma stepped out. "We're heading to an extraction point at the end of the triangle." the Fed stated.

"Jesus, are we gonna walk to Tokyo?" Kazuma did, slamming his head on purpose leaving the exit. Kazuma slammed the hatch closed.

They were in a small tunnel in between the courtyard and the sports fields. The Fed motioned for the soldiers to follow him as he headed towards the Sports fields; on the other side would be the tip of the triangle. Was it too dangerous to cross the field directly? Or would they have to go around? Walking around would take several hours, but directly would take only half an hour.

Ryuta crawls into the so-called air vent, following its linear tunnel until he came to the closed hatch at the bottom. He doesn't want to be spotted and tries to back up into the shadows, finding it hard to do with little hand hold to help push and keep him from slipping back into the hatch.
