New Hera: Layer 1: "Streets" The "Streets" are bridged Highways; wide, busy...

"*BZZT* Sir, the link is set up with the Hydra. We're going to wait for you and if you cannot make it, we're initiating the other plan. Over." a voice said over the radio.
Colonel Liaf picked up his radio and held it to his mouth. "Roger that. We're making excellent time towards the Base." Colonel Liaf said into the radio and shut it off. "Activate the lights and stop for nothing. We need to get to the base immediately. Otherwise plan B is the option." Liaf stated.
The driver nodded and activates the vehicles lights. A siren wailed. The vehicle picked up speed and the rest of the vehicles followed suit as they sped along the Streets. Colonel Liaf grabbed his Radio once more and pressed the button.
"This is Colonel Liaf broadcasting on a Federation Channel. I request any Federation Officers not at the Federation Base report there immediately. There is a problem that needs to be addressed." Colonel Liaf said into the radio before shutting it off once more. "Let's see if we can play with him for a little bit." Liaf said before relaxing in the vehicle.
"Sir, what if you don't make it?" a Federation soldier asked to Liaf in the military vehicle. "I've set up so multiple people can relay my message to the higher ups. Different locations. Abel City, Neo Tokyo, and New Hera. I have men stationed here just in case I don't make it. This is of ultimate importance. I want this city to realize the truth." Colonel Liaf said.
The vehicles were getting ever so closer to the Federation Base.

"Finally... The General makes his move. Even more perfect. Suspicious activity... will I die? If so, every one of my men will know who is in charge immediately. And if he falls, the next will take my position. Rykov won't last long as long as he tries to survive in New Hera. As long as he tries to prevent the coming..." Liaf said. He grabbed his radio and held it up to his mouth talking to all Federation Soldier radios, regardless of who. "The Day of Sigma is coming." he said, laughing as they entered the [Digi-District: Federation Base HQ].

"When you explode, I'm going to laugh." Elzareth said as he stood a safe distance away.
He sat down as Liaf staggered his way down the sidewalk. He was pretty far though. Elzareth saw in the distance, Kazuma forcing his way out of the base. If the Fed's were blowing it up now, he was screwed. Elzareth would be hit by the vibration though.
"Merry." Elzarteth said as Kazuma dashed, just barely leaving the base...

After wandering from Abel City for a couple hours, Ryuta finds himself in the streets of the first layer. He heads down the sidewalk, intending to follow it towards the suburban district when he noticed the mix-eyed man from the ruins of Doppler Town. He was about to figure out why he was here when he heard commotion going on in one of the buildings in front of him and the mix-eyed man saying something about laughing about someone exploding.
Curious, though in no mood to get involved, he ducks behind one of the alleyways and peeks around the corner, wondering what was going on. The Colonel from the harbor staggers out of the building, seeming to have been more than banged up from the events that went on inside, followed quickly by the preaching reploid from before, indicating that whoever was going to explode may be inside that very building.
Ryuta cringes slightly as he runs towards the other side of the alley, intending to get away from the building before the aforementioned explosion occurs without being spotted despite the possibility of the culprits not caring whether he knew what they were up to or not.

The initial explosion lifted Kazuma off of the ground. "FUUUUUUUUU-" he shouted as he was lifted off of his feet and tossed into the air. He flew over the gates of the Federation base. Elzareth altered the gravity field in his small area to prevent vibrations. Kazuma was violently tossed through the air. He flew over the wide, large streets as the power putting up the energy fences went down, he flew with no intrusions as he rolled to the other highway into oncoming traffic. People braked due to the explosion. Kazuma hit the ground and began to roll. Elzareth watched, giggling as he saw Kazuma roll into an alleyway... Where he saw a rather familiar face.
"... It's the guy..." he said. He almost dashed over to Ryuta, but stopped and looked over at him and waved hi. "I should chase the Fed's who did this... The barrier went insane when the base exploded, but some guys ran off into the wall of New Hera towards the harbor... hmm..." Elzareth decided to give chase. He dropped the fields all together and began to dash down the sidewalk, making sure to dodge any falling debris and hovering most of the time. He proceeded towards [New Hera: Layer 1: Energy Barrier Generators].
Liaf figured out he was probably going to die with all the chaos. His mind was slowly deteriorating. He wanted to live. He gave up on the Federation as it blew up.
"... I'm going to live... I must live... It is... My destiny to... Lead the Federation... Rykov is useless... HE LET THIS HAPPEN..." he said in his craze.
He looked around with shifty eyes. He turned and ran into an alley way from the streets and headed through them going to Mid Layer 1 where the [Energy Barriers] were located.

As he was recovering from the ordeal, he eyes Elzareth's snide wave before he unexpectedly disappeared towards the harbor. He decides it was best to leave that situation to the less crazy Feds and looks around at the remains of the exploded building. Debris and smoke flew all around him, making it impossible to determine who survived...then again unless the majority of people were made of fire resistant metal ala Magma Dragoon, there was virtually no chance for anyone to simply walk out of that rubble without leaks of blood or fuel spilling out of their torn bodies.
He contemplates whether he should head into the ruins and search for bodies, but then hears muttering from the Colonel he saw at the harbor and looks to see him making his way towards another part of the city. He decides it isn't worth the energy he had just lost recovering from the explosion and makes his way towards the rubble, intending to at least find clues to the cause of these explosions.

The vulnerable humvee sped down the streets, trying to move lower and lower to reach the highway exit. The Sarge sighed but didn't let up on the pedal once. "You two, use your rifles and busters. This is gonna get gritty the second we try to bypass the police."

Far behind the Humvee was Liaf running at an abnormally fast pace. He ran from the [Energy Barriers]. Hours ago, Liaf retained the specs of a standard military Reploid, but suddenly, he had the speed of an extremely fast Reploid. His legs had a different armour, not to mention they were bigger. The only explanation was he had a Copy Chip. But it was common knowledge; Liaf was no New Gen. He was steadily catching up to the Federation Humvee, and Ordarium was slowly coming out of the socket where h is left arm once was.
"NOOO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE MY CITY!" he shouted as he slowly caught up to the Humvee.

Ryuta staggers out of the smokes of the building, barely managing to see Liaf making a b-line towards the fleeing Humvee at speeds that, while not uncommon for average reploids, was a bit of a surprise performance for a design that didn't look like the speeding type.
Deciding not to further question the ability, he quickly runs to a nearby building and wall jumps to the roof, freerunning from building to building as he attempts to keep up with the now seemingly deranged Colonel, contemplating how best to stop him from slowing the more sane Feds down. He figures it was probably best to stay back and let them deal with his advance before interfering with whatever weapon and fighting skills he has at his disposal.
As he got closer to Liaf, he noticed some strange fluid dripping out of his arm; it didn't look like any type of reploid fluid he was used to seeing, seeming to suggest this was the so-called "Ordarium" Elzareth was threatening to infect him with.

"Sir, what the hell is happening with the HVT?" Asked one of the other men, watching behind them as the vehicles were blown around like they were in the midst of a hurricane.
"The same thing happening to everyone else in this City: a bunch of malarkey."
Suddenly, their audio receptors were all shot. They screamed in pain, nearly swerving right off. But the Sarge kept it together, groaning from the lack of sound. The others had collapsed.

He digs into his pants pocket and pulls out his low-powered beam saber, squeezing the handle hard enough to produce a half solid, purple blade before aiming for the edge of Liaf's throat and chucking it towards that direction, hoping the energy would sever his vocal cords before it died out from the lack of grip.

He flaps his arms to gain altitude, all the while trying to speed up and get in front of Liaf; once he felt he close and high enough, he dives towards the crazed Colonel, feet first, while keeping his caped arms raised high like a raptor flying towards its prey. He hopes to at least keep Liaf at a distance long enough for the Humvee to make its proper getaway.

Liaf hit the ground, missing the truck itself but fell forward, hitting his face off of the back of the truck. The impact put a dent in his left cheek, broke his nose, and left scars on both of his eyes in a vertical position. He was moving still, no longer focusing on running as he grabbed his face.
He slowed down as they were coming up on the turn off. The half point. One way lead around the airport, the other lead down the off ramp. No gates. Liaf had to stop and think after his current hit, but simply fell to the ground, grabbing his face as his new injuries bothered him. He now had scars resembling that of Sigma... He was still unaware of Ryuta's attempt to stop him.

Ryuta notices Liaf starting to assess the damage from being bashed on the asphalt following his failure to land on the truck. He didn't have time to think about whether he should stop or not as he slams his feet into Liaf's midsection. While thinking about what made the crazed Colonel stop in his tracks, Ryuta slams his wing-covered hands on his shoulders, hoping to keep him pinned down long enough for the Humvee to make its getaway.

The weird substance was moving! The machine gunner didn't know what to do other than change seating. The shotgunner looked out the open window to see the commotion and gritted his teeth. It was a Federation vessel! Even more dissidence!
The Sarge continued focusing on swerving out down the dump zone, and trying to reach bottom level.
