Here we are, at the end of the contest (finally! >_<).

In the left corner we have Spindrift Seagull and in our right, we have Doppio Doves! As before in the Armor Contest, we will give everyone a week to illustrate an epic picture of these Mavericks duking it out, be it a "versus screen" of the two, an action scene, or whatever you want! You may use any means to draw it and use any style you see fit.

As much as I hate the contest end going a week longer, I think this will be fun, especially with the amount of responses last year. If I get responses from enough people saying they need a little more time, the deadline will be extended. All art should be emailed to Jeff@MegaManX9.com. I'll post the final match along with all the fan art received soon! I can't wait to see these Mavericks in other art styles. Oh, and you can send in as many as you want!

Time to doodle... wait does it matter if I doodle multiple times? I'm sure I've drawn Spindrift at least twice...

This isn't the voting thread. It's just a notification to send in any possible images to show your support for one of the entries. Same thing happened for the Final Round of the Armour Contest.

Just finished linework for Spindrift, going to work on doppio now. Hopefully I can get them all inked and scanned in before the end of the week. Time is lookin good so far.

edit: Both Spindrift and Doppio have been inked, just have to wait a couple of days until I can get back to my scanner

Since all the cool kids have one, I figured I'd get a deviant art page too. Why not? Just don't expect anything spectacular, or for me to update a lot.

Hmm... Crap, I didn't notice that there was a versus screen design sub-competition for this. Probably don't have time to work on one. Especially with the amount of detail present in both designs.

I just need to get to my scanner, been dog sitting over at a relatives house all week (just glad I remembered my pencils). No colors planned yet, not until I see how others are faring time-wise.

edit: Colors and all that jazz are done, and sent in to Jeff.
