Question about the collection-series

Which of this games has (or will) come for the Ps2 in Europe?

Mega Man Anniversary Collection
Mega Man X Collection

Neither have been released in Europe. They were exclusive to North America.

OK, thanks for your answer! Are North-American Ps2-games compitable with the European Ps2? In Europe we have PAL by the way.

Usually they aren't I'm pretty sure. There's other methods though, such as an emulator or hacks/modding, perhaps. I've never owned a PS2 so I can't say for sure.

I don't even think asia got those ports/editions, honestly. I could be wrong though.

For clarification... All PS2 games are region-locked. You can only play these on modded or American PS2s. (Or PS2 compatible American PS3s...)

Well the PS2 doesn't need modding. Swap Magic works just as well. That is for playing imports here in the states. However, I'm pretty sure a PAL version of the Swap Magic disk exists as well. All you need do is take the little door of the disc drive. Then you can run the program disc, choose the right option, then use the swap key to open the door(you have to open it this way as using the eject button causes the system to rerun the disc check program.) switch the disks out, then using the swap key, close the door and relock the cog.

Well, I like Mega Man, but all the things I've to do to play the old Mega Man games on my Ps2 is too much if you ask me.. I'll buy the Mega Man-games I don't have for my SNES and Ps1. Thanks for you help anyway!
