The sweet newcomer from Command Mission was revealed by NeoWiz recently and will be joining X, Zero and Duo in the much anticipated Rockman Online.

Pertaining to the game's story, Cinnamon is having visions of "Neo Arcadia", where humans and Reploids live in harmony. These premonitions are considered to possibly be a side effect from the Force Metal within her, but Duo has a feeling it's more than just a coincidence. Gameplay-wise, Cinnamon will be a support character, much like how she was in Command Mission, able to heal her allies by using her Force Metal.

Do not forget that sometime this week Rockman Online will be revealed to the public. Expect Gameplay videos and a new animated trailer Pmag has teased to coincide with the start of the event. Exciting! A screenshot from the teaser can be seen here.

This game's story, it just gets weirder and WEIRDER by the post.. By god, I better ignore the story all-together and hope for good gameplay.

But yeah, the story plot is getting pretty weird when it talks about the "Elf Wars" part. But besides of all that, I'm glad that they haven't forgotten about the Command Mission peeps. I was worried that they haven't forgot about them. Yet, I'm still curious if they are going to bring Axl or not, cause I'm worried that they won't give a crap about him.

The story is a medley of plots. people and places, it seems, tied together to create a coherent world where all the characters can coexist.

I know for sure that I wont be taking this game into consideration canon-wise, lol.

Okay besides the funky story that some people are complaining about, it's good to see a "healer/ support" character of the group. I was wondering when they gonna have one, with a saber-user, buster-user and a running powerhouse those classes really need some backup support.

I wonder if they're going to have a "rouge/thief" class...Marino anyone?

Okay, now that is out of my system. The story does seem to be getting more confusing each time a post comes up about it. But at least we know for sure they are still not done with the character roster. So Now I have hope for getting more characters to add. Like Axl.

Rasengan Boi does have a point though, if it IS the elf wars, then... the story line or what we know of it, did just get royally messed up. However, I'm still fairly sure from what we know so far that it's more likely an AU story. But even so... It's starting to get fishy...

I second this greatly. This would be a perfect chance for the Command Mission cast to get some more spotlight. Maybe other "forgotten" characters too! Massimo could be a strength character like Duo, Marino could indeed be a rogue/thief character, Lifesaver could be reintroduced to provide support alongside Cinnamon. Maybe Douglas could return as a mechanic/item development character and maybe use heavy arms like rocket launchers and such. Since this seems to have crossover elements, it would be cool to see Auto and Douglas work together.

The story will have a lot of plot hole but I am okay with that. I was hoping for more play able class...A Cinnamon class would be cool but what can you do...(Maybe in a expansion they could add that class)

Definitely no game to buy for the plot because to be honest, it seems like complete crap.
But gameplay-wise it is sounding like a lot of fun. I hope they keep adding characters, especially Command Mission ones like Massimo.
Let's hope this means they're contemplating new X games too considering they're throwing X characters into the mix :p

Funny how everyone seems to have forgoten that they have more or less announced Colonel and Iris in this by having their Silhouettes in the UCA group shot.

Though, I do hope the include Massimo, he seems so neglected, even by the fans.

Agreed! Massimo would be the perfect Tank. We still need some more classic characters to though.

You might be thinking of one of my many posts calling the game nothing more than a fanfic. Zan seems to think it can work, however like many other fans, I do not see it.

I think it's pretty safe to say it can't work.

HOWEVER, I think it will hold my attention for countless hours. Will those hours be wasted? In the eyes of a normal person, probably, since it's an online game. Though in the eyes of a diehard MM fan...especially the X series...not wasted!

Y'know, I almost want it to be the Elf Wars just so we can close that gap in the series' and move on to new things in a continuity taken farther into the future.

As the developers say that the game is set in 2XXX, my guess is that Rockman Online is after the ZX Series.

It was painfully obvious to me months ago that this game is set far into the future from ALL known franchises right now. With the possible exception of Legends.

One of the earliest updates posted on this very site showed me that. Which is why I headdesk every time someone pulls out theories about where in the timeline it fits.

I kinda agree that's the most accurate I can think of...I mean trying to put this on a certain spot in the time line will contradict SOOO many things that has actually happened in the story that it leave even more people confused...
