But any way, no one really knows if Zero was still alive or dead, it's one of the Megaman Franchise's Mysteries. But if he DID die, he was probably resurrected again before the ZX series otherwise how the heck did he return as Model Z?

I don't know about you guys, but I want a Zero 5. Probably this time Zero returns with no helmet and he will get it back somewhere in the middle of the story, the rise of Albert and Model W, Ciel's confession of her feelings towards Zero and expect a kissing scene. And maybe, just maybe.....We get to see Axl too, and will have some sort of connection to Model A and Albert's A-Trans. You guys get where I'm getting at?

I'm actually writing my own Zero 5 story; but I'm not giving the link. I know a bunch of fan-fiction haters on these forums.(But if anyone wants to read my story, just tell me.)

I'd like to believe that he is alive and i'd like the story of zero against zero nightmare i mean the real zero nigthmare (i know through that this if 99.8% impossible) and not he's original (even if is like the same armor of zero in the present and not the original form of his armor) amor which a computer program created by weil. even so the words of zero about he know now what he is fighting for (lol) and he will destroy he's nightmare take my argoument to the trash in someway but he's not meaning the famous ''zero nightmare'' but he's own demons he doesn't mean only to destroy omega but he's inners demons. So in that way how could we put zero fighting zero nightmare well even when i think is impossible the only asnwer for me is.... well... uhm... something about he's father willy. i dont mean tha he is alive by that moment but in some way someboy may be ''inspired by him'' and take the original (i mean ''the original'') body and eliminate all modification maked by cain (remember that cain was the only one that turn zero into a reploid after being a maverick) and zero has to fight wich the real awakened zero and prove to him that he has not fear for him anylonger.

Well that is how i can see zero surviving and fighting awakened zero (most of the part of awakened zero was to see the original body wich the megaman zero style) and i still know that is altmost impossibl to happen but hey anithing could happen maybe not my idea but the idea of other person.

Anyway, SFN brings up a good point. It's pretty hard to see how a biometal can be made without the actual person needed being present or something, although personally, I think that it's more to do with needing the spirits of the now biometals being present and not the actual beings, so this can be easily gotten around by having someone skilled enough hack cyberspace and Ciel looking for the spirits of X, Zero, and Phantom. After all, it's already been done with the whole cyberspace hacking thing in X5 and Zero 4, and Zero was able to fight Phantom again due to Omega breaking the Cyberspace Barrier, so it's not really a stretch at all to consider that that sort of thing happened offscreen between games or some such.

well...if you mention that..hmm.. i heard a story from the elf wars that zero's original body was used as a weapon of mass destruction during the war...to prevent loss of the original zero,his soul??brain??or something like his heart maybe was transplanted into a copy..this result came a cost such as zero lost almost all of his memories..since X is fighting alone, zero was kept to hibernate as a reserve if any else gone wrong(such as if X is defeated in the war)..then time had passed by 1000 years later and there we are..Megaman Zero..

in my opinion,i did accidently read one of zero's manga which depict the story after the ragnarok core incident..i knew abi even though it is in japanese..the story goes like this:..zero completely damaged and injured after the battle..he was about to offline(die)...then a cyber-elf came and manifest into elphizo,which he teases zero for having himself injured so much...zero just ignores then spoke that hes done his duties to protect the humans...impressed,elphizo sacrifices his life to restore zero...at last zero is restored..by the looks of it he looks exactly like giro in megaman zx...he then return to area zero and continuse his life there....

ps:his life is unknown for now...please comment if something wrong with my stories

For me it was pretty much a beggining, as he was later used to make model Z on Megaman ZX. And it's obvious that there would be no ZX without model Z. So technically, he IS alive through that biometal, Going back to the death moment, even if it's not cannon and something that isn't very relevant is a fan-made manga that showed that Zero survived ragnarok's explosion in critical state however, and cyber elf Elpizo comes and heals him becoming virtually his "dark" form (when on Zero 2 he fused with the dark elf for the first time) and leading him his power, then a helmetless Zero comes back to the resistance base.

A self-made theory made from the fact that after reploids "die" they become cyber-elfs is that some time after his death, cyber-elf Zero goes to the resistance base and when Ciel starts working on the biometals she "inserts" somehow Zero in, then did the same with X and the four guardians.

But X himself was completely erased at the end of MMZ3. Ciel just made biometals from the body not from the cyber elf, there were some fragments left of X's body on Yggdrasil. Its personality was made up by Ciel. Maybe not the case on Zero and the Guardians. Though, I wonder why Omega has such strong will to survive in physical body like Phantom if he was just a puppet and spoke only 2 coherent lines in his entire life. One of them just said to follow the Rule of Cool, since Japanese + Mind Fuck + It's All Your Fault=Cool.

X's Cyber-elf survived. Although his consciousness was on the verge of being pulled into Cyberspace after his energy was depleted, he managed to pull through.

You're the one making something up here.

Prairie confirmed that Biometals are made from the souls of "legendary heroes". There is no evidence in the ZX series exempting Model X from this definition.

And Yggdrassil was the innermost area of Neo Arcadia; the same area obliterated by Ragnarok according to Vile's Incident. By logic, there would be nothing left of Yggdrassil, let alone X's body in the aftermath.

Phantom did not have a physical body; he was fought in Cyberspace, where he was made of data. The nature of Omega's appearance in Mega Man ZX is up to debate.

Weil was so powerful that he survived as the Biometal Model W, and the separate Model W cores, I think. So it's not to much of a stretch to say that Omega somehow was able to survive, or exist in a time that was either at least part cyberspace, and/or connected to the past in some way shape or form. Remember how the background keeps flickering in and out and and occasionally shows the place where Zero was found in Megaman Zero 1?

Weil was a human of pure hatred of Reploids. That sheer will was probably what allowed him to live. Omega believed himself to be the God of Destruction, the Messiah, the Devil, stronger than the current Zero. Pretty sure Zero beating him up and proceeding to murder him shattered Omega's will. Biometal Model O is non-canon and the nature of his appearance in ZX is unknown. My speculation was that the area he was found in was either where Omega took his last stand and the last 200 years of terraforming done changed it, or it was the crash site of Ragnarok as the first known Model W is found there indicating that Omega in such a distorted room during ZX is probably a byproduct of Model W's tampering or the whole fact that Omega's very presence even in Mega Man Zero causes cyberspace to open up. Omega could very well have lived on in Cyberspace since just standing around causes it to open. We never saw Omega's remains so we don't know if he was obliterated or if he was merely had his current form destroyed. Or his Cyber Elf merely escaped into Cyber Space, nonetheless, Omega is in ZX, obviously in a Cyber Space distorted room. Either way, it really has no solid answer.

As for the actual ZX Omega fight? It was flickering the background of the final Battle of Zero 3, which was in the same lab Zero was found in at Mega Man Zero's intro. So yeah.

All right, I think that's enough dissension for now. I shall explain this in a way that I am sure everyone can agree on.

Flammole was probably sensing Model W down below, and since the main character had a lot of bottled up hatred that we really only see towards the end, it's likely that that could have smelled similar to flammole. Still, I do admit that the whole hatred smelling similar thing is a very flimsy and poor argument, and flammole did say something about whoever you're playing as isn't such and so that he thought they were even though they 'smelled' very similar, so that DOES hint that at the least Biometals Z and O have a very similar 'smell', which makes sense since they are both essentially Zero in one way or another.

Actually, I think that a better explanation of the situation would be this. The Biometal Model O is Canon in that it DOES affect at least a part of the story that is told in ZX, even if it was only what happened with Flammole. However other then that it really has no bearing on the story as a whole that we have yet to see other then that, seeing as it's really little more ten an extra that you are able to get upon fulfilling certain specific requirements, and makes the final stage a bit easier to deal with, not to mention any other part of the game that you may be planning on pursuing. Also, if it really was important or had any real bearing on the story as a whole, there should have been some mention of it in ZXA, although there is the fact that it was at first simply this 'Mysterious Rock' that was used to create a soulless Biometal for use at the end of the game, so that could also easily explain that take on things.

Really where Omega's invading ZX is concerned, there's just to many unanswered questions to form a well thought out and reasonable answer that's not full of holes, because, as usual, we do not have all of the answers, because the games do not give us all of the answers. They give us only some of them, and we are left to come up with the rest on our own according to the dictates of what we think works and could possibly fit or not. Hell, take me for example. I once had a notion that Zero could well have started out as a human that was turned robot by some weird sort of virus that activates upon him betraying Wily that would also eventually cause him to malfunction and become the first known Maverick to exist. Then again, my knowledge was lacking at the time, so I came up with what I thought sounded cool enough and could possibly explain everything and possible even allow for more games in the Zero series, but that just strengthens the argument earlier on in this paragraph.

I'm starting to wonder if having created this thread is making me think to deeply into the hidden history of the megaman series to the point where I take something simple and make it way to complicated.
