Yeah, i got a server. You need to have the game to connect.
Atm, it's up whenever my friends want's it up. It's mostly a friend's only. But, i can allow other X9 members along.

When you say you have to have the game, is there hardware I need to purchase or something?

You go the site Minecraft.net. Then register a new user. After that press Buy Game. This requires a PayPal account tough.
You can try the game first , there is a Minecraft Free. It's actully just endless mode. My server is actully Survival. But, since you can't die there is almsot no diffrence.

I want this game. Sadly i'm strapped for cash to get it but it is very appealing to me. I even enjoy the free Classic one even though it runs on Java.

Okay, let's talk Minecraft folks. I recently actually got Minecraft and i've been having fun, yes it's been difficult but hey it comes with the game, right? Well that is until the Halloween update.

Okay let me explain my CURRENT FUCKING RAGE right now. With the Halloween update they added in a ton of stuff, like the Skeletons now hold bows, there is the Nether dimension, all sorts of cool things. Problem IS that with this update comes a terrible terrible flaw. The infamous Inventory deletion bug. You seen when you die, normally your inventory is strewn all over the place. Well that is not happening in the update, instead your inventory just ups and VANISHES in other words if you DIE everything is gone. I've lost not only 1 but 2 watches, compasses, a Diamond Pick and Diamond Shovel and other various items this way. All from doing mundane tasks like taking care of a Skeleton that was in my kinda waterfall thing when a Creeper comes out of NOWHERE and kills me. Then i went to the Nether world to get some resources (which by the way is fucking scary as hell) and when i came back i was met with a spider who killed me, which means i lost EVERY single mushroom and item i got FROM the Nether. It's really confounding my gameplay because now i have no Bow and no means to make a bow.

Hopefully Notch fixes this.

Recently bought this some days ago.(mainly because of survivor multi-player servers. Classic was fun for maybe 2 days, but I find hunting and surviving to be more fun than just purely creating) If only my computer specs were better. (All my setting have to be on lowest settings to get decent FPS) Can't wait until multiplayer survivor mode is working with all its features though.

Probably because you are still playing in Alpha I'd wager. Unless you are playing a pirated version of the game, I suggest you update to Beta 1.4.1.

Or, delete minecraft's .bin folder, and let it re-download when you open the client.

Cant help you if it's a pirate copy though.

And no, sadly the server isnt fixed yet. It's a mojang issue I think.
