Ooh, what have we here?

A little while back, a report from website, Tompop, yielded some interesting information regarding Bandai's interest in creating a detailed lineup of action figures based upon treasured franchises. Some of which being Samus Aran, Ultraman and the focus of this article, our very own Mega Man X (as seen above).

However there is some need for worry. The X figured placed 5th in poll Bandai held for character figures desired by consumers. Due to this, the awesome X figure may not be produced. That would be a damn shame for sure. In the end, the figure to be produced would have to achieve a first place ranking. Although according to a little info from The Mega Man Network, it is highly unlikely that Bandai would go through the work of creating such a perfect-looking prototype if they didn't have some intent on releasing it. Which makes a lot of sense.

The X prototype as well as the other figures will be on display at the Tamashi Nation event at Akihabara Akiba Square UDX2F in Japan. I really wish I could attend most of these events.

While I love it, I wish the other company was making it. (Katobuki?) because this company seems to do one shots, meaning this Rockman X will stand alone. However, it is still nice to look at and will most likely be nice to build.

Even though it isnt the same company, it does have a similar style in creation. The Kotobuki or whatever figures remind me a lot of some of the Wonder Festival "Alteir Sai" or whatever figures. So I think somewhere down the line, this has become somewhat of a standard in designer's minds.

Lol, it's sad when I cant remember exactly how those things are spelled. Eh, whatever. XD

I didn't mean its look, I meant with it being from a company that is most likely doing one shots, we will most likely never see Zero, Vile, Sigma, Signas, Alia, Colonel and so on.

As me being a figurine collector, this I would definitely buy in a heart beat! I've honestly never seen a X figure this good looking.

How much is it?! I wanna buy the prototype! That is pretty cool! Better than this well... maybe more action than the plush... I really wish these were mass produced across the globe!

I have a few suggestions...

1) The X-Buster needs to be on the left hand (where it BELONGS) and inter-changable.

2) X-Buster is spring-loaded that can fire different shoots

3) All limb parts and helmet should be inter-changlable for the different armor parts.

4) Hands should be open for Z-Saber...

Well, true. In that case we probably wont see more unless X ends up selling really well. They might consider others then. If the price is right, I will definitely purchase one.

X uses his buster on both arms, and I'm sure it will.

Ehhh, they already have done that, plus making a model kit that's spring loaded is a paint because YOU have to build it.

What your looking for is conversion kits, and I doubt they'll make them.

How I wish they actually released it it looks so cool. I would def buy it, even pre order it as soon as available. I dont really care if they only release X. He is enough for me. Although I would love to see some armor upgrades, perhaps a couple of selected extra armor sets would be nice. Wow it just hit me X alone could make for a whole line of figures with all his armors. They could even go for the Saint Seiya Myth Cloth style for him ;).
