you forgot "moon walking" (when you dash jump and slide down the wall with the door, how you turn around and look like you have a moon walk effect. it's something I have yet to pull off

For MMX1-6, I'd dash jump or air dash through. But for MMX7, I just walk through <_<... And for X8, it forces them all to walk through (which is boring). For command mission, I can't dash jump, but I dash to the door... And then you can see X walking through.

Edit: I didn't notice this was in the general section. Anyway, for MMZ, I just jump. @_@ Other series, I just walk in.

you can also "moon walk" on ice since you slide on the floor for a moment like flashman and other stage that have ice in the rooms.

X1-5, Dash jump in with guns ablazin'

X6, its fun to mess around with X's saber poses.

OR alternatively, repeatedly make X's dash end just as he hits the door, so that he enters in that sort of skidding pose. looks almost like he's bracing or something.

You forgot upside down! In X6 the ice ability that makes you stick to the ceiling can be used to enter upside down.

NES Classic Mega Men - Stand still. ...Yeah.
SNES X1-3 - Dash through while shooting or jump (specifically falling sprite) while shooting
PSX X4-6 - [X] Dash through while shooting or go through it while clinging to the wall. [Zero] Just dash.
Zero / ZX - How dare they limit our options! *ahem* Yeah, just walk through it. Or jump, iunno.

Gill, what stages can that be used in? I tried a few, but the ceiling was too high in all of them.

Classic - change it up... slide then jump or pure jump....then after i fought the boss countless amount of time....just run through
X-series- ALWAYS Dash Jump...i will always love doing that

Classic, Zero, & ZX- just walk through
X1-X3- I always go in with a dashing buster shot
X4-X6- Dash through everytime
X7 & X8--forgot since I haven't played 'em in awhile

Moon walking? Now I really gotta try that one day..How about dashing through entrance with the dust effect still there? It happened to me a few times :x8vilelol:

X1-3: Dash Jump

X4-6: As Zero I Dash Jump through. As X I do this.

Any other series I just Dash through the door.

In the classic series, it's usuallt jump-shoot.

In X, I dash.

Operator: We get signal.
Zero: Main screen turn on.
Copy X: All your base are belong to us.

I like to catch X mid-dash jump when his hands are in front of his face so it looks like he's boxing, or dashing in the air and making sparks come out from under his feet... How do the sparks get there if he's dashing in the air???? It's like when they make the tire screech sound effect on movies when a car is peeling through grass... :x1vilebrow:

THanks to Megaman 10's new time trial, I just run in. It takes time for megaman to fall, then the boss intro will start. Of course I want the best time.

I almost have an OCD to have my fingers moving as much as possible while playing, so generally I dash or dash-jump, sometimes getting backwords and moon-walking effects.

I just dash into the door. They seem more intent on busting Maverick heads when they hold that dash pose for a few seconds, no matter what the size of that head is.
