Some semi-decently recorded gameplay footage of Capcom's version.

As one that hardly plays fighting games, I don't really have many thoughts on this. The idea of having two separate games in each series' styles seems quite neat though.

While I like Tekken (Street Fighter can suck it), I'm not liking this one since it would probably not have my favorite Tekken character in it. To me this is basically a re-release of Tekken 6 with some Street Fighter characters or Street Fighter 4 with some Tekken characters.

Awesome. I'll be damned if I don't see the Dark Hadou against some of the darkside in the family of the peeps in Tekken. I never played Tekken but I heard great things about it, and I think they'd do well to co-exist and--

Street Fighter X Tekken own by Capcom

Tekken X Street Fighter own by Namco

What different between them? And Are we going to have two releases at same time?

The one by Capcom is said to play like Street Fighter 4 while the one by Namco say it's gong to be like the Tekken series. So he get two of the same fighting franchises but in two different gameplay styles...and about those release dates, most likely around late 2011 or 2012 perhaps?

^^ Very nice post there...I thought it be more like Street Fighter, but I see they've implemented more on the Juggling elements like Tekken (I know juggle combos been around for awhile and Mortal Kombat was like the first game to bring that concept to fighting games), but Tekken is just widely known for that style in modern games now. Anyways, I notice that "Focus Attacks" from SSF4 won't play a role in here either, with the tag teaming the gameplay will be much faster, I suppose Focus Attacks are not needed then (theorizing they've taken it out or not)....but there has been a lot of Dash Canceling during the tag teams though?

The game has potential, let's hope they fix up the netcode for online, Capcom has a bad rep for that (think of SSF4 and MvC3)...Cheers for 2012 of its release date.

I would like to see the tekken version, being as I am more of a Tekken fan. So, I noticed that one of my four desires are in, that is good, and I'm fairly confident that Yoshimitsu will get in, as he's been a Tekken veteran sense the start. I really don't know what version to get though, I've gotten more into fighting games like TvC lately, so this could be a tough call. Knowing me, I'll get both

Really do want to see Tekkens version, see how awesome Guile is in it. Also better see Lee in this game.
