to all owners of an ipod touch 2G or 3G, you may have heard about a software update from 3.13 or whatever to 4.0. DON'T DO IT!
I updated last night and now a lot of my apps don't work. I've been around Apple's site for a while and it turns a lotta people are having similar issues. Some ipods have even rendered unfuctional because of this. So until somebody fixes this, DO NOT UPGRADE YET!

Big kudos to elreyjgz!

Anyway, the only good thing I can say about Mac is that it does have WINE (Windows Compatibility Layer) just as Linux does. I recommend everyone get Wine as it allows you to run 99.9% of Windows only apps.

Nokia first had video chat years ago, Apple is just publicizing it like crazy...I doubt it will catch on. Apple's going to shit anyway, they can't even complete obvious testing on a product? I mean...if people like Apple, fine. Their hardware is so outdated (just came out with a Macbook with an i5 processor, when Windows PCs had it years ago (they have i7 now).
Most people just don't know that you can just load Mac OS on a Windows PC...just dual-boot Windows and Mac OS X, win-win situation.

Never cared for Apple and I've drifted away from Windows too. I'm a nix man now. Wine with PlayOnLinux can fully support WoW on Linux. Who needs the shit that BillGatus makes?

Just look for a headset that works well enough for you, and buy it. It will work on MacBook just as fine as it would on Windows/Linux/OtherOS computers.

I got message from teacher a week ago.
"Please be careful. There is a new virus out there for Macs. It is called the Flashback virus. Here's an article to find out more and to see what actions need to be done.
Apple Knowledge base article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5244
Please be careful it would be tragic to lose your portfolio this late in the game. Be safe and make sure you have backups."

I'm having trouble myself. My iTouch screen seems to not work on a certain spot. This has happened about 3 times, I didn't drop it or anything like that. But around where the letter T ( and V) would be pressed when typing, it doesn't put it down. when this first happened, it would normally fix itself after a while. (I would try charging it, or shutting it off) but now, nothing has changed. Has this happened with anyone?

Anyways...
My father bought used Macbook. It is Mac OS X Version 10.6.8.
How can I restart this computer for him? I mean, start ALL OVER and make it like new?
BQ: Does store should have to give him macbook AND two of CD? No?
And he want to transfer all of his music, video, and picture into his macbook? Any idea how to transfer them? All I know how to transfer are picture and video but music?
