Well I read that The maverick virus deletes files inside the reploid, which leads me to believe that they cannot become biometal without the important files in their programming.

Also don't say anything about how "its not possible because Ceil and Albert are dead" I just want to know if it COULD be possible.

Also, is it Required to have a Cyber elf to make a biometal? because Albert made model A w/o one (or maybe not?)

The virus doesn't delete anything. Removal of the virus within a Repliroid returns them to normalcy.

Only if you could somehow recover the data after 350 years. But it's much more effective to actually revive the Repliroid in that case. At least then you could equip them with less antiquated abilities.

Zan pretty much said it all. According to the ZX series, Ciel created the Biometals from the DNA, which is essentially the Cyber-Elves of X, Zero and the Guardians. They have their personalities still in tact as they can vocalize and express them. To create forms for age old Mavericks MIGHT be possible, if only the data was salvaged. It sure would be cool to have old maverick forms though. Model SE, BK, FS and BW would be fine replacements for Models H, P, F and L yes?

Any reploid with said 'Spirit/personality/etc' is capable to be revived as per BioMetal. Problem is, is scouring the Abyss for said data. To which, as Zan stated, would be far more effective if used to resurrect the Reploid.

In the X series, DNA ressurrection was strictly prohibited. Although there is a small possibility that the law was changed at some point, since Dr. Weil specialized in the field of Reploid ressurrection. The Biometals themselves could also be considered a form of revival, but we should remember that all known Biometals were created in secret.

While I don't see why a Biometal couldn't be made from an animalistic Reploid, I think we're more likely to see Biometals based on human-like battle Reploids such as Vile, Dynamo and Colonel. Elpizo and Craft could be other viable candidates.

Additionally, one could also consider creating a Biometal from a new soul.

Indeed. The rebinding of the Reploid Spirit. Considering it to be a revival would be splitting hairs, and would make sense that it would be seen as a form of resurrection.

Though as for the anilamoids, I'd bet they could. They just need a purpose. And if in the Future of the ZX series, they find a way to create many BioMetal, I'd see those being used as manned armors for specific work. As if that reploids is the one charged.

However a new soul would be the only concern. In that it's possible, just that Cyber Elf would need to be created and abilities derived before the forging process.

Would it also be possible for say a nurse or hacker Cyber elf from the zero series to become a biometal? Like say someone needed medical help you could turn into a nurse form and heal them.
