Military Docks

The docks were occupied as usual, seeming to have a larger than usual frigate in the sea half a mile out.
A few mechaniloids were preparing to transfer supplies, under supervision from Federation Officers.
On the roofs, covering the sea, were trained sniper towers that could easily give a position away.

A strange sound could be heard in the distance. It sounded like an aerial vehicle of some sort. Nothing could be seen. Shadeth piloted the cloaked Shade Falcon towards the docks. He was cutting it close. If heat could be detected, he was in for some trouble. He flew the invisible vehicle towards the edge of the docks. He set the autopilot to return to Shade Cavern. He leaped off while activating his personal cloaking device. He landed on the roof of a warehouse towards the edge of the harbor. From there, he carefully leaped into the shadows to avoid detection in case the cloaking device failed to conceal his movement. He only hoped that he hadn't given his position away. He waited for the best opportunity to proceed. He peered around the building's corner and saw the battleships about a half mile away. He had quite a distance to sneak through. . .

One was following the path of the Shade Falcon, a light on it's front turning yellow as it came closer.

"General?" A young Officer alerted as he looked over his readings. "We've got a cloaked craft that just did a U-turn. Our drones are pursuing it, but it's too far out."
Rykov was standing there with his hands behind his back, and cupped in each other. His metallic hat seemed to move by itself as he went into thought. He opened his mouth, finally. "Where did the Undetected AV stop at?"
"It stopped near the warehouses." He reported.
"Command the drones to all advance on that location." He ordered.
-
Soon, the sound of buzzing, the Saucer-like drones seemed to be losing interest in the Shade Falcon, all turning to the Warehouses.
Down below, a few soldiers started aiming rifles and busters, cautious.

Think, Van, think! Shadeth had often thought about trying to lower his temperature. However, he could never figure out a method for doing so. Note to self, invest in ice-based equipment... He thought for a moment more. The drones were beginning to close in. He finally decided that there was only one option. To use a single doppelganger to throw the drones off course. He took out three shurikens, grabbed a few pieces of nearby scrap, and pulled out the red crystal. He moved completely behind the warehouse so that the light from his experiment wouldn't give him away.
He concentrated, and the the objects morphed into a device. A small device, capable of being installed on an arm. It was a shoddy piece of work, but he had successfully recreated his cloaking device.
There was then a small burst of smoke that could be seen from behind the building. This would immediately give off his position to the soldiers. Shadeth quickly equipped the doppelganger---formed from his own energy---with the cloaking device. The doppelganger vanished using the cloaking device. However, the device wasn't completely working. A disturbance could be seen.
Shadeth gritted his teeth and simply whispered, "GO!" The doppelganger ran out into the open. The disturbance could be seen by the soldiers as it ran. The drones seemed to lock on instantly. Shadeth checked his cloaking device; it was still on. He waited for a moment and took the opportunity carefully run in the shadows behind the warehouses towards the ships. He was on the right side. The doppelganger, however, ran towards another warehouse on the left.

On the intercom sounded: "ALERT! SECTORS 4 AND 5 ARE ON CODE RED, UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL NEAR THE LEFT STORAGE WAREHOUSES."
Rykov looked at the cameras from the drones, as they followed this son of a bitch. Perhaps he was right, maybe it was the same person who destroyed the Colonel. But, he felt something was off. The drones had passed something.
"Tell SGOS-6 to pan back around." Rykov looked out of the glass window inside the Command Bridge. He could see the smoke from here, and few soldiers. He turned back around, displeased. "Why aren't any of our privates or corporals investigating the smoke?"
"I did not think it would be necessary, sir." The Officer replied. "I can have it investi-"
Rykov pulled him aside quickly, eying him seriously. "You thought it was not necessary?" He questioned, watching the nervousness of the Officer.
"I apologize sir."
"I'm the General here, so please, don't forget that." He turned him back around. "Now, send a squad to investigate the smoke."
The squad marched along the warehouse walls, as they all loaded rifles and charged busters. "Alright, we've got a bogey somewhere in the area! Keep thermal vision modes operable!" They approached the smoke, quickly switching the thermal but not detecting anything.

Fools! Bright idea, but just a little too late! The soldiers were gathering towards the smoke. He continued to run towards the ships behind the buildings. He was about half way there.
The doppelganger stopped at a dead end behind the left warehouses...

"We give you the chance to disarm yourself and surrender!" They shouted out, oblivious to the problem.
-
Rykov was monitoring it directly from the camera feed. It appeared cat & mouse was over. I've cornered him...

"We give you the chance to disarm yourself and surrender!" he heard through the doppelganger. Shadeth continued to run. A single thought was transmitted to it.
Fight!
The doppelganger deactivated the cloaking device and unsheathed its katana. Shadeth knew that he would have to risk his identity being caught again. But he had a plan.
When they fire, block with the cloaking device! Make it look like a malfunction and appear to self destruct! Keep fighting for a few minutes and make it look convincing!
The doppelganger dashed towards the soldiers with his katana raised. He slashed one, dismembering his rifle arm. He aimed for the next one...
The real Shadeth knew that if it appeared that he died, it would help his capture of the vessel. He was almost there...! He saw a fence ahead. He hopped up a couple of crates and launched himself over the fence. He made a mad dash towards the battleship ahead of him.

(For Danger theme of the Docks)
"Now then.." The Sergeant brought his sword up, and walked towards this intruder.
Rykov slammed his hand on the computer board. "What the hell is that Officer doing? I wanted this person apprehended!" Rykov looked at the Officer with him dead in the face. "Establish contact now."
...... Suddenly, a large power-outage occurs, with every computer system becoming offline. Only, a large O-symbol with three lines spiraling off could be seen.
"What the fuck!" The Officer shouted, grunting when his access became denied.
"Optics are offline all over the place!" Another computer-clerk alerted. "The entire fucking compound is offline, sir!"

Shadeth did a mad dash and leaped from the side of the dock onto the edge of the battleship. He saw that there were Force Metal containers in the process of being stored aboard. The few personal that were continuing this task were in a hurry. Undoubtedly, the panic caused by Shadeth's intrusion was the reason... He carefully ran towards the ship's bridge.
Meanwhile the doppelganger chuckled. "Well then, bring it on, officer!" The doppelganger moved forward and slashed its katana towards the sergeant's arm in an attempt to disable him.

"What the hell?" One of the soldiers said, noticing his Holographic sights disappeared. "Optics and Night vision are down!"
-
On the ship, soldiers were already scrambling around in the darkness. One in particular decided to try something. Looking over the side of the battleship, he knocked his helmet against his shoulder lamp, activating it.
"Hey, guys! I got mine working again!" He turned around, shining the light directly near Shadeth's position. The odd change of lighting ans vision confused the soldier as the air in front of him moved, and he brought up a pistol.
Rykov was already loading himself up. He equipped himself with two large pistols on his back, and was carrying a large gatling plasma-gun. He checked the gauge on it, reading 600 rounds. His two pistols had miniature 20mm Grenade Launchers equipped as well, and would have laser targeting if optics weren't down. He was silent during the entire strap-up process.
All of the officers were equipping their weapons as well. One carried a green rifle, the side of it read SCAR-B. An Automatic machine gun that was reminiscent that of a rifle used hundreds of years ago.
Rykov smiled, stroking the tip of his Gatling. "Is the Beast ready down stairs?"
A random naval marine moved up the stairs into the bridge beside two other armed reploids. "Well sir, it's ready. But do you really think they will be able to steal this ship? We've got them cornered out in the Warehouses!"
"Something's not right... And Besides." Rykov felt around for something on his metallic hat, and clicked a hidden button. He could now see thermal and neuro. "Nothing's escaping my sight."

Shadeth winced in frustration as the guard spotted his movement. He jumped behind a crate to avoid whatever fire may head for him. He continued to run towards the ship's control room from behind several crates. He avoided other soldiers as much as he could. He was almost to the ship's bridge...!

"How I've longed to use you..." Rykov started to retract the gatling plasma gun and attach it to his back, and then attached himself to the insides of the Beast. He was ready for this infiltrator, and he had his officers ready, too.
The soldier on-deck fired a warning shot, as the bullet dropped from his weapon and clattered on the ground. He winced, at not hitting a thing.
"You alright?" Someone asked. "Calm down, okay?"
-
The Sergeant was taken quickly by surprise, and he felt himself sprawl out into the open. Nobody was cheering now.

The real Shadeth reached the bottom of the ship's command center. The tower was actually large... He peered through the first door's window...

What the Government does not know won't hurt them. Rykov assured himself. The Super-android program was backed by the Colonel and himself. They were the finest soldiers he had. These would just be to test the intruder... they were all un-armed.
-
The Sergeant cried out in pain. "God damn distraction! Open fire!"
With that, every soldier opened fire on the fake.

Shadeth felt a slight sense of rejuvenation. He felt a bit stronger. Naturally, as the doppelganger had been formed from his own energy. He knew there was no way around getting detected by the seemingly advanced machines inside the room inside. He hurled an energized shuriken towards through the window and towards one in the back, attempting to cause confusion before he burst through the door.
