Was surfing youtube, and my little 1 1/2 year old bro was sitting by me, I happened to be listening to JKB productions openign theme for X (Megaman X : Corrupted) And the little guy started headbanging! (anyone else find this cute? lol he LOVES music! )

My point is, I bet everyone here has had those moments, when someone in their family was "thats awesome!" at something theyve done, or heard them listening to, or just enjoyed playing that awesome 2P game when you guys were younger (or older, lol)

So for those wanting to share, here is the thread! now post away!

Another with my little cousin, im tutoring him on megaman zero 1 (he is 3) And he is starting to get it . . maybe when he gets better I can take him off my easy file with the extra health bar, and give him the normal stuff! =) And its awesome his reactions to some of the bosses, he keeps saying Fefnir is my uncle.

I can't say I remember much from my childhood, I so desperately try to mentally block any memory from when I was growing up but me and my dad used to play Yoshi's Island together to see who could get the most 100's on the map.

About over nine thousand years ago, I played a lot of videogames with my two cousins (both 3-5 years older than me) and my big sister. It was mostly Super Nintendo, with games like Super Mario All-Stars, Goof Troop, Donkey Kong Country 2 and some random winter olympics game we never figured out how to play. Ah... Good times. About half a year ago my sis visited me, and we played Super Mario Bros. 3 again... She still remembered tons of hidden 1-ups that even I didn't know of (And she hadn't played it in years).

I do play quite a lot with my little brothers nowadays (They don't live under the same roof though). The older one is in 7th grade, and the younger one is only 5 years old. We're all gamers (Though they're more along the lines of casual)

I teached the younger brother to play ZX Advent and Star Force. He did quite well actually! (In ZX, he got up to Siarnaq in Beginner mode in one sitting. In Star Force, he pretty much just kept destroying random viruses)


But I'm the only kid at home now, so I do most of my gaming alone unless it's online play. I played Super Mario World online with a friend of mine, and it really felt like the old days..


I really wish I could go back in time....

Super Smash Brothers might be the best game to play with freinds/cousins ever. I said cousins because I have no siblings and I normally played it with my cousins more than my freinds.

Last time I played video games with family members was a match of Halo 3 at my cousin's place. When I was younger however, I'd often convince my sister to play Sonic Adventure 2 with me. I'd usually win, so she eventually got sick of playing it.

Lets see...

When I was smaller, I always followed my older bro. He was (and still is) a legend to me, so any bonding time was particularly special to me. I rarely ever played games with him because I always knew the outcome, and was happy with it. I was so inferior to him that I even thought it strange and uncomforting to think I could beat him at anything. So instead, anything involving video games, I spent time watching him instead. Watching him is how I'm even connected to the Final Fantasy games and the Metal Gear Solid games; aside from a bit of FFX, I've never played the others.

He's grown and living well on his own now but the rare times he comes to visit, it fun. With the both of us having nothing but women on our minds, we kinda grew out of anime and video games, but not completely. we still have this dim fire burning for the kid things we used to do. So when we hang out, we still discuss things, but itts akward at times. For example, I tell him I'm still watching anime, he'll bring up Naruto and how Sasuke's cool. This tells me that he only watched a few episodes before losing interest and then tells me Anime is all the same nowadays. lol. He likes games, but I can't see him spending days on them anymore.

As for my little bro, its kind od a repeat for him of what I was like with my older bro, except he has his own way of doing things, whereas I was completely set on following my brother's footsteps. He plays games with me, and I beat him horribly at everyting just like my older bro to me. At times, I trick him into having me train him, and the training is usually as harsh as...lets say, Piccolo training Gohan...though I try my best not to leave bruises. I do this to both, refresh my skill and to make him stronger.(For his anbormally large size[not fat...well...], he is pretty weak, even for his age...)

Other than that, yea. I pretty much ignore my family. I don't know them, they don't know me.

Oh yeah, I'll cherish my old times forever. I live in a dangerous neighborhood but I had my good moments of life too!

I'm sort of like Silver_Stryker here. I've always looked up to my brother in terms of video games and other things. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have seen the epicness that is Mega Man. I walked into his room (And I was like 7 at the time by the way.) and he was playing X4 on his Playstation. I'd usually walk in and sit in his bed as I watched him play X4. One day, he gave me the controller as he was playing with X at the time. He was surprised at how good I was for my first time while starting off on the Sky Lagoon and beat the boss on my first attempt. We later on started to rent X1-3 from Blockbuster and played them every day!

Well I'm the youngest of 6 brothers and I'm only 22 years old, which of makes them waaaaaay older than you guys think. So in short, they don't play video games anymore so I have no one to play with except my buddies locally (Damn you Call of Duty 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2) and I don't play that much online stuff. . .so you get the idea. Though moments what Felwarrior50 have stated sounds pretty awesome and well heart-warming. . .yea that's right, I said it.
