I wrote this one after the ending of Megaman Zero 4. I imagined this one being done by Ciel.

This long war is nearly over
the fighting is coming to an end

battle torn, you carried us through the fight
defeating enemy after enemy, you've set us free

Now you lay so broken
unable to be restored
the Cyber One has come for you

It's okay now

we'll grieve, but we know
it's your time to rest

This one came to me when I was playing as Zero and I had to fight X. I imagined X had gone Maverick. This one is done by Zero.

How do you move on when you are responsible for the sadness in the air?

they hurt like me, but we know it had to be done

I wish I could have saved you
but the virus defeated you

even you fell before the virus
