New Hera is the smallest of the 3 Capitals, but the safest due to it being a Humans Utopia. Reploids are only there under orders of the Government or Maverick Hunters. They used Programmed Robots otherwise. It is built atop of Doppler Town.

R's team appeared in a flash of light from the [IT Bay.] R studied the area, and saw the assault coming in from the east.

"Alright, lets get to the front lines and head east. Axl, you are to imitate one of the larger Mechanaloids, Kazuo, you are to go to where the humans are hiding, Juno, you, Chiba and I will go straight through and attack them from the back." R said, running.

Axl ran towards the sidelines mumbling to himself, Kazuo made his way over a vehicle pileup, and stood in front of the humans to help create temporary defenses, and Chiba and R proceeded forward.

There seemed to be a Politician arguing with a reploid official, Federation in looks, outside of a large building entitled "Command Post"


"Look, did you burn a circuit? You're supposed to obey me without question!"

"But you're wasting the time of the Maverick hunters when we had more than enough personnel to defend you here."

"That's enough, Major Wilk." The Politician said. "Just defend me until my protective squad arrives to take me back to Abel City!"

He's not giving all the info... Major Wilks backed down. "As you wish, Mr. Alonso."


"Wow, If I had to go through that all day.." Juno mumbled as she ran to catch up with R.

[White-Jet]

While searching around for a cheap cafe, Ryuta stumbled upon a fight going on within the center of New Hera. This was obviously not the best time to try and pass through the area seeing as humans were being held in a safe place away from the comflict.

There was a map a few yards from the fighting which Ryuta walked up to to assess any detours he might take that won't put him in danger of being sucked into the conflict and distracting reploid forces from doing their job.

An explosion occurred in the distance. It leveled several floors of a building. Somebody flew from it, and he landed next to a different wave of Mechanaloids. They were coming from Doppler Town.

"... Another wave? Oh... Damn..." R said.

Axl stopped in his tracks, then jumped back to avoid injury. He looked at the wave, and studied it. The Federation was there, so they would handle the other wave.

Wolf stood on the building, his robes fluttering in the wind and blasts. It looks like Alonso is safe, so far. He'll just keep an eye on him..

The explosion rocked the area, bringing in a few more tanks to the area.

..."I think I liked it better inside." Alonso started moving to the building.

"But sir, the squad won't be able to find yo-"

"You wait here, then!"

"But I'm in firing range.." You could see him trying to fight the programming, built into him to obey every humans. It looked like program was winning.

Juno dashed ahead and swept her scimitar across the area in front of her to slice a large chunk of flying cement.

"Damn!"

Wolf observed the battle. Fascinating, the Hunters were.

R studied the figure that caused the explosion.

"... Huh!? It's Kazuma!" R exclaimed.

R ran towards the highway and jumped onto the road. He ran towards the boarder to Doppler Town, and after 2 minutes, he arrived at the end of the Highway. The other Maverick Wave had already approached the center. Chiba followed R. "Juno, I need you to either assist us, or stay behind with the Federation. Axl is imitating somebody else, and Kazuo is following us soon." R said into his intercom.

As R said, Kazuo followed R, but was soon tired. He looked down. Kazuma was still on the border to Doppler Town about 2 miles away. He made a gesture for the team to go see him.

"... I don't know what to do..." R said.

[White-Jet]

With explosions bursting left and right, Ryuta felt he was going to end up even deeper in this conflict if he continued to study the map in the area. He pulled his arms under his wing-shaped cape and flew up to one of the buildings in the area, attempting a safer, less distractive way of finding what he needs.

Juno dashed ahead to help R, the Federation seemed like they would handle it....



When an hover-car pulled in quickly and the white-uniformed men all ran out. Major Powell tried to ask, but they knocked him aside, stunning him. They stormed the building.

That's when Wolf dove down into the local pool for decorative features. It was around 8 feet deep, so he was un-harmed. Quickly shaking the water off, he bolted for a corner, where he saw them..

Mejudiin, and the large scar on his head. Where had it come from?

He had a large laser-battle axe, and was heading for the double-doors.

"Damn, we need to get to Kazuma, but we have to wait for the raid to pass by..." R said.

"No biggy." Chiba said.

He ran up to R, grabbed him by both arms, flipped over his head, landed on the ground, and flung R through the air, well past the Maverick Raid.

"CHIBA YOU IDIOTT....." R said screaming through the air.


He landed about half a mile from Kazuma.

"Problem solved." Chiba said, jumping the same distance he threw R.

"... Well, we can hover..." Kazuo said to Juno.

[White-Jet]

Ryuta sensed some distress from one of the buildings in the center caused by some humans infiltrating the area. He doesn't want to interfere mainly because he hasn't eaten since arriving, but seeing as human authorities were currently decommissioned at the start of the Maverick invasion, he figured he should at least observe the situation to make sure it wasn't too serious.

Keeping his arms in his cape, he flew off towards the source of the distress, finding the white-uniformed men from the Abel City's tourist disttrict busting into a seemingly important building.

He lands on a roof hanging over the entrance of the targeted building and peaks over the edge, attempting to peer at the entrance without getting spotted.

I can't, unless you have a way to transport two." Juno told him. She eyed her surroundings, to see them mixed between soldier and maverick. God, this would be hard to tell apart when a needle shot by her arm and impaled a soldier in the head. It scraped her just a little, "Yeah, let's go!"

Wolf watched as he destroyed the entrance, where two reploids had barracaded it. He sliced them in half. Such tyranny, to know you cant defend yourself. He thought of Omicron.

He turned the corner and looked inside, to see the man about to swing his axe. Price took a knife off of his belt and flung it in Mejudiin's area.

"Hey you, pig!" He yelled at the large man as it hit him in the back. He grunted, almost dropping the axe.

"So... you're one of them!" He bellowed, picking Alonso up by the scruff.

"Please, help!" He begged, trying to smack Mejudiin. Wolf moved in, wrist-blade extended when Mejudiin put the axe to the man's neck.

"Now now, you will not harm me as I take this man out." He started edging for the door, when two of the White-uniformed men drew swords and pointed them both at Wolf.

"I love surprises. As a matter of fact, you'll learn I'm full of them." He reached into his robes, as they brought their sabers above their heads, about to strike.

Mejudiin was ushering Alonso out by his neck, into the car...

"I can carry us." Kazuo said.

He jumped up, and floated through the air. His Gravitational Control was a very unique ability for Reploids.

"Whoa, just grab my arms or let me grab your arms... And we'll go." Kazuo said.

[Vérité]

Juno was impressed by this show, but could he hold her without losing balance and then dropping her into the line of fire?

"Doesn't look safe," She put her hands on his shoulders as an explosion rocked the area beside her from the tanks. "Shit." She didn't realize they were in battery range.

Mejudiin was almost to the hover-car. Wolf flung out his arms, a trail was seen as the kunais went flying into the chests of both combatants. They dropped their weapons, and fell, wriving in pain.

Wolf then turned to see them boarding the car, but he threw a kunai at the repulsers. It actually worked, disrupting the pull, the car fell onto the cement, leaving a large "Thwak" as it hit the ground.

Wolf bolted between the large tanks that were firing. He then saw Mejudiin doing it- He slit the throat of Alonso! No!

"You son of a bitch!" Wolf shouted

Mejudiin threw off his helmet, revealing a turbin. "Spare me a lecture! My mother's dead." He picked his axe off the ground, and tried to fling it at Wolf, but it had a back-fire. It wa sheavy, letting Wolf agilly dodge. He smacked Mejudiin in the head with his fist, but that's when the Axe actually ripped his armor. Damn!

"I can maintain balance, choose quick, I'm to help the commander." Kazuo said, balancing himself.

[White-Jet]

Ryuta watched in mental scorn at the politician's immediate demise, gritting his teeth that he didn't have an opportunity to do something to stop this from getting worse. He pulls back further towards the center of the roof, watching as the fight escalated out into the streets, unsure of what to do aside from stand in the background and observe.

[Vérité]

"Let's go... so if we're not shelled by the tanks, we can help out R." She smiled. "And give Kazuma a little payback." She seemed suddenly quite happy in Kazuo's mercy.

The axe flung, and hit the tissue of Wolf's lip. It knocked him aside to the ground, but he turned into a side-roll and jumped back up.

"Nice try, but Alonso is already dead!" Mejudiin laughed as if it were a joke. "You will fail, along with the others."

So he was right about there being more than one assassin. He peered by to see Alonso crawling away, then his cocky look returned, despite the bleeding face.

"The Illuminati are fragile at this point..." He started to circle Mejudiin as the other White-uniformed men took place with normal swords. "I'll tell you this: I'll shatter every single one of you for what you did to my family!"

One moved in, Price smacked them in the head, but the other caught him off guard.

That was when he decided to use the smoke bomb. He smashed it on the ground, choking the eyes and lungs of his enemies.. He activated his Eagle vision, there Mejudiin was in bright yellow. He knocked him to the ground, extended his plasma blade, and assassinated him into the face. Mejudiin's scream echoed through, as Wolf ripped the blade out of the wound, this time leaving Mejudiin dead... He still wondered how he got the scar on his face, but it didn't matter.

"Alright..." Kazuo said.

He grabbed her arms, put his right arm around her. He took off as fast as he could maintaining a speed of 35 mph. and dodged the fire and bullets flying through the air. He landed next to R, who was on the ground in pain, and Chiba. A mechanaloid approached. It was massive. It was a large Preon. R got up and prepared his Saber, and Kazuo stared at it.

"Don't worry. It's Axl." Kazuo said.

The Large Preon morphed into Axl, and he pulled out a pistol. He walked towards Kazuma, and R and Chiba followed. Kazuo followed, letting go of Juno.

[New Hera/Doppler Town Border.]

Juno drew her scimitar and followed up, scanning the area..

Wolf knew when to retreat. He started to scale the building nearby, but the uniformed men finally gained control, as the smoke dispersed.

"There!" One said, drawing a blaster-pistol.

Shit.

[White-Jet]

Ryuta used his spirit reading senses to detect what was going on within the smoke cloud. He saw the savage man's spirit extinquish, indicating his death, while the man who attacked him stood over the dead body, seeming to ponder something. It was then that he noticed the politician wasn't as dead as he had first expected, weakly crawling away from the scene. He almost wished Hajime or one of the other experienced Vermillion monks were here, but he knew that there were situations the monks couldn't find the time and awareness to resolve.

Seeing as the situation was already taken care of, he stands up, about to contemplate where he should go when he felt his stomach rumble as an all but silent growling noise escaped his stomach, sapping a bit of his strength. It was obvious he couldn't leave yet without at least grabbing a loaf of bread to chew on.

Sighing in frustration, he looks around for a safe place to grab soome breakfast away from all the conflict, but was immediately interrupted by a figure flying over him, and the white-uniformed men targetting it. Gritting his teeth, he quickly flew away from the area to avoid getting caught in the chase. As he was doing so, he swooped down towards the politician and scooped him onto his back before taking back into the sky again, heading for a hospital that was far from the conflict going on between the white-uniformed men and the Mavericks rampaging through the area.

[Vérité]

The gun fired, but then deflected off of Price's under-armor. He sighed a relief, reaching the top and then bolting. The men down below threw a fit as they started to cart off the bodies.
Our Governor, Alonso Mediko was killed in the deadly fighting between the Army and New Heran underground terrorists.. He was found dragged from his office, beaten and then throat sliced. His security reploids were all damaged, and a Federation Major as well.
