Agreed. Chargeshot is really for "cool factor" while sliding is actually useful.

By "those peeps" do you mean MM3 bosses? If so...Top Man and Spark Man are easy in my opinion without special weapons.
Too much is just enough.
MMX2 is the greatest.

RM10 should have slide, I understand chargeshot because in 9 they took it away saying "he hasn't done this in a while" but sliding is something he should be able to do at his most basic level. For F's sake its just sliding.

I meant all the bosses 1-7. I just got done playing them a few weeks ago. I never played them before, and thus, I didn't know the weaknesses of each Master. I spent one life trying all the weapons I had on bosses which often lead to no avail, then spent my second(sometimes my last) life killing them with the buster. SnakeMan, CrashMan, QuickMan, SlashMan,...There were more that put me on edge. Just naming a few.

Must've gotten them mixed up then. I played 1-7 all at once.(not literally of course.)

I know I've probably ranted about this many times, but I STILL think removing those abilities from Mega Man in the first place was a stupid move. It just made my blood boil when Keiji Inafune claimed that those "fancy moves" were "unneceessary", and then removed those abilities without coming up with a real story-related explanation as to why Mega Man couldn't use them anymore. He instead flat-out acted as if Mega Man never had them. Honestly, did Inafune and the rest of the staff REALLY think that people were going to magically forget about something that's been established in the series for OVER TEN YEARS?

...And yet Mega Man could still use those abilities in Mega Man 7. How come Dr. Light didn't remove them during the "time of peace" where Dr. Wily was in jail?

Between 8.5 and 9, there is a LARGE gap of peace. between 6 and 7, the gap is far shorter. Id say no more than a month. possibly less.
