I hated the whole thing, the surfing the sound waves sounds a lot cooler than it looks. I played it for about 5 minutes before quickly ejecting it. CAPCOM went too far with that!

Star Force 1 was quite crap, but Star Force 2 managed to make it a lot more playable and actually gives some challenge and satisfying to unlock the extra content.
But Star Force still isn't that good Mega Man series.

But I'm enjoying the game, I find nothing wrong with the game itself, sure the story isn't that great, but the actual gameplay of it is a lot more enjoyable and smooth than the Battle Network series, I played some of that and got bored REALLY fast.
While I'm still enjoying the battles that take place in Star Force, it's not a dumbed down battle style, no no, it's an upgrade, it's much harder to avoid taking damage, gives you more chance to use a shield in this case.
The only thing I'm missing out on is the Wi-Fi portion of SF, once I get some Wi-Fi, it's safe to say most of you people don't want to bother being my brother, eh? xD
You guys don't seem thrilled about this game, nor with future games in the series.

One thing I don't really care for is when the plot starts to go all "after preschool special" on us. (the moral of the story is to have friends? what's up with that?) Other than that it's pretty good now that Geo's not as emo as he used to be.
Consider the following...
Lan = dense for the entire series. (black hole dense)
Geo = emo for most of one game and a small part of another.
Winner = Geo

I agree... I couldn't even get within 15 minutes into the game

I once had something to fight for, now I do just for the pure pleasure of seeing your head as my doorknob sigma

Even so i would take the Dense Netto :P
Mostly cause im not soo sure how much i like the SF series which i have seen all of the anime episodes there good but the games im still debating on weather there good....and im playing them cause there mm but the first game was decent the second is a little better but the "pointer" stuff gets old after a while

Here's why I like these games over battle network:
1. You can actually transform into MegaMan.
2. For the 2nd one, anyway, the Wave World merges with the real world more, so you can run on rooftops, etc.
3. The battle system is less complicated. Yes, I enjoy it for this reason. Battle Network is easy for the first half of the game, then things get really freaking hard and the only way to win is to know the damn battle chip system. Star Force tones it down while still keeping the difficulty. I have no problem with moving between 3 squares. Hell, I would've bought the games if it were a turned-based game like Command Mission!
Now, what I want to know is WHY you post a thread like this IN THE STAR FORCE FORUM?! It's insulting to people like me who like the games. Hell, I'm an American, and I prefer the classic style games, but does that mean Star Force is bad? NO! Because I think it's entertaining! And THAT IS WHAT A GOOD VIDEO GAME DOES! Is it better than Classic? X? ZX? I don't know. But does that make me hate it? No! I still enjoy them, and I will GLADLY pay $30 for SF3 when it comes to the US.
So what's there to hate? NOTHING!!!!!!
