Vivian finally made it to the Infirmary. Right at the door to the ER, there was a Life Saver standing there. "Yes, how may I--What the...?!" To his shock, he saw Vivian holding the bloody child in her arms. "He doesn't have much longer to live...He needs medical attention right away!" Vivian yelled. The Life Savor quickly took the boy from Vivian and opens the door. "Alright...please wait here miss. We will see what we can do..." he said as he rushed the boy in and closed the door.

Vivian took a big sigh and leaned on the wall. She noticed that the boy's blood was on her hands and arms. She took a wet wipe from the pack around her waste and started to wipe it off. She then started to ponder her thoughts. This Xeyon person...What does he know about Magnus? I'm not the only one hunting him down...? I still wonder. When the time comes when I face him, can I kill my own best friend...?

Tomas came in right after Vivian had handed the boy off and took a quick sigh of relief. If the Reploid does his job right then the boy will live to see another day. And deep in his heart he didn't want another person to die from stupid reasons. He looked at Vivian, judging her appearance in his mind. Vivian decided to drop everything and bring the boy here, whether that was a part of clever programming or sheer emotion, Tomas had to commend the Reploid. He took a deep sigh and clicked on the external speakers.

"Do you think the boy will live? His mother is really upset about the whole incident." Tomas said to Vivian hoping the conversation would calm whatever was affecting her.

Vivian was startled that someone started talking to her so suddenly. She realized he was no threat and looks at him. "Huh?...Oh, yeah, I believe so. When I was still a little girl, I was living here with my father. The medics here are good. He is in good hands. As you could notice, I'm not fully reploid, I'm a Cyborg. So...who are you? My name is Vivian..." She said calmly.

While she was talking to Tomas, she kept a look out for the door. Vivian also remembered that Magnus is a Class A Maverick Hunter. If she can get all things done at once, it would release any stress but she was more concerned about the boy that was hit in her own affairs...

"Cyborg?" Tomas said puzzled and merely shook it off. "Nevermind i guess i'll figure out what else they've made around here sooner or later."

Tomas noticed her subtle change in movements and looked towards where she looked and nodded slowly. Whatever it was he could safely guess that she wasn't a part of the Maverick Hunters. That still didn't allow him to trust her in the slightest. He looked her over and back at the boy as the Reploid went to make sure a full recovery was in order. He took a deep breath and let it out explosively, still aware the speaker was on.

"Let's just say . . . i'm someone who is concerned . . . really can't tell you my name." He almost absentmindedly blanked out but he focused his attention back on the task at hand. "Tell me, how did the boy come into danger like that?"

Vivian was confused at him. But she did understand that if he can't tell her, then it is none of her business. "Well, I'm looking for a Maverick Hunter named Magnus. In my search, I met the Maverick who did this to the boy. He said his name was Dragon Xeyon. I got distracted trying to lure him out of the city so I couldn't hurt anyone but he attacked me and I rolled out the way but I didn't notice that the boy was behind me. It's already too late the moment I caught a glimpse of him there...." She explained.

Vivian heard as the Life Savers were operating on the boy. Vivian guessed she would be still here for a few more hours or so...

Tomas put one armored hand softly on her shoulder obviously feeling her pain. "What matters is that you got him here rather than leave him to die, you made the right choice."

The statement of the name Magnus was almost met with hatred in her voice. He had to wonder what grudge she had against this Magnus person. He knew if he was going to get anywhere he was going to have to ask her. And with a disgusted sneer Thor entered to his mind-

"yeah, you do that, i'm going to take a nap." leaving with a mental eye roll.

Tomas shook his head and looked back at Vivian, making sure he had good eye contact with her. What he was about to ask was not only crucial, but it may send her into some unknown to him fury. But at the moment he had the chance to ask, and she was from around her so it wouldn't hurt to do his job and gain intelligence.

"Why are you looking for this Magnus character? what'd he do?"

Vivian hesitated to tell him as it was an absurd reason to kill someone. But she decided to because it really wasn't a big deal. "It's not like I hate him or anything nor did he do anything. There was once a Maverick named Scar that Magnus terminated. Scar wanted Magnus's power because of this hidden power inside of him. He was a powerful Maverick just to get cut down like that by a Class A Hunter...But back to why I need to track him down. Scar threatened to kill my father. He damaged my human body and transformed me into a Cyborg to hunt Magnus down. Since I was still growing and aging, he trained me for 10 years to combat him..." Vivian paused as she thought back on something in the past.

He returned back to reality and looked back at Tomas. "Even though Magnus killed Scar, his ghost still haunts me. I believe that Scar had plans ahead of time if he was ever killed. Maybe a hired Assassin to keep tabs on me to make sure I kill Magnus. It's many possibilities but I can't take any chances, for my father's safety. Magnus was my childhood best friend. He too is a Cyborg like me. He has a more terrible past than me but it pains me to make him suffer more. I haven't lost my family but he lost his entire family. To be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing..." She said admittedly.

Some times had passed but they were still operating on the boy. Vivian continued to keep her eye on the door.

Tomas shrugged and leaned against the metal door frame. "You know . . . all things considered that Dragon Xeyon character could have been the assassin, hell if he was so good he'd have hired a whole squad of assassins and would have had them kill me." Tomas looked at his armored hands. "And while i admit i have my flaws, this armor does a whole hell of a lot and i don't have any blood on me. So that tells you one thing, either he did have a plan like you said and he has an assassin parked out, or he fooled you into thinking that. Either way if there WAS an assassin, walking into the Maverick Hunter HQ would be a bad move. They got this place monitored from the looks of it."

Tomas allowed this to process in her mind, allowed her to slowly digest it. He knew he was facing a human rather than a machine, which meant he had to slow down little by little. After a few minutes he took another sigh and looked at Vivian.

"Okay, listen i normally don't do this but i don't have any cash, a place to crash or anything else keeping me occupied. I wanted to make sure the kid was okay and that all that was probably an accident from some kind of squabble. I got the whole story from the lady too so i had to compare it." He held up his hands in a defending nature. "No offense, it's not that i don't trust you, it's that i don't fully trust you. At least not yet. In the meanwhile you can call me Tom." He took another deep breath and held out a hand. "I only offer my help and services, other than that if i need to bolt then i will freely do so. You don't have to kill one man to save another."

"I see. I understand. Only way to find out if Xeyon was the assassin is to find him and interrogate him for answers. But what confuses me is that if he could be a assassin, why doesn't he kill Magnus himself...? Then he wants to fight me so badly for some odd reason..thank you Tom..." Vivian said softly. Just then, the same Life Saver came out. "We still have a lot of work to do but from the progress, he'll be just fine. We were lucky you got him here when you did. He's lost a lot of blood and a little bit more and he would have died on the table but thanks for your support. We'll tell you when he is well enough to take him back to his parent..." The Live Saver stated and he went back in. Vivian was very relieved at the report. She took a seat down now able to think clearly now.

Vivian turned her attention to Tomas. "Well, I guess things will start to go a little smoother..."

"You never know, it could be a test, maybe this Dragon Xeyon wants you to become as evil as Scar was or as he is. Maybe he just wants you to kill Magnus to save himself the trouble. Either way you have to not bend to his will, you have to not stoop to their level." He looked at the chairs and compared it to his armor, there was no way he was going to be able to sit unless he got out of his armor. "I think i'll just stand . . . anyways maybe if you tell Magnus what's wrong he maybe willing to help you. Otherwise if you keep going down this path more people like that Boy will get hurt . . . i hate to use a blunt example but what you need right now is a big cup of the truth. And right now life is serving it to you by the gallon full."

Tomas frowned behind his helmet, hoping at least some of his words were helping Vivian out rather than making things worse. She needed to know that this path was wrong, that she doesn't need to go down this route. He took a deep sigh and leaned against a wall, letting her digest it.

Vivian listened as she was thinking back on when she first started this chase. From what Tomas said, she's making the wrong choice and she knows it. Still unsure what to do, she still listens to him. "Yeah, you're right. I always had my doubts about this path I've taken. Maybe if I could talk to him, I could get help but I'm still iffy about it because if Xeyon isn't the assassin, the moment we come into contact and don't fight, he might kill my father...But I'll try. I really don't want anymore victims...The kid was in a situation he wasn't suppose to be in. I'll make my decision when I see Magnus..." She stated.

While waiting, Vivian pulls out her pack of knives to check if they are sharp enough. It's only a matter of time before the Life Savers come out again.

Tomas looked at the knives and raised an eyebrow. "You're going to wait . . . with sharp knives? Sides why would you take the word of this scum-bag? why threaten you to kill your father when he could have already done so. He's dangling a thread in front of your nose making you grab for it." Tomas frowned and gave another sigh. "Yes i can agree that saving what little family you have is better than anything . . . in fact i'd give my life if i could go back and save my own. But i know that, if i could go back i can't change a thing. Mostly because the universe acts like this." He holds up two fingers. "It gives, or it takes. Somedays it gives us what we deserve, and on other days it takes things away. This Scar character made one hell of a wrong move, you want to know why? Instead of taking your life he gave you a new one. He made you a cyborg and in that effect he made you stronger." Tomas took a deep breath and patted Vivian on the shoulder softly. "You just have yo learn how to use your strength to your own advantage, instead of letting him take advantage of you."

Tomas smiled even though she couldn't see it. She just needed a gentle push in the right direction, a nudge out the door. It's harder for her because she nearly had everything taken away from her. But she needed to learn how to value this new gift and use it to her advantage. He only hoped his influence was enough.

Vivian's mind started to be more clear from Tomas's words. "Thanks...I think I can solve this without hurting Magnus, or he hurts me...Maybe I have been tricked. I've been training at the Wind Temple after Scar died to perfect my skills. I have to hunt down Xeyon instead but I still have to find Magnus..." She said with a big smile.

More time passed as the boy was still in the Room. The Life Saver finally came back out one last time. "Well, I doubt he can walk for a little while but he is in a decent condition. Come in if you wish or we could bring him out if you want?" He asked Vivian. "No, I'll get him myself." She responded. The Life Saver went back in. Vivian turns to Tomas. "Want to come?"

Tomas gave a nod and walked next to her. "Sure. Sides it'd help if he knew his mom was worried sick." Tomas gave a slight tilt of his head to try to signify a smile.

[Magnus Blade]

They entered the room as the boy was in a maintenance bed recovering. Vivian walks up beside the bed kneels down. "Are you feeling okay kid?" She asked with a smile. He opened his eyes and responded. "Yup. Where's my mommy?" He asked as he looked around the room. Vivian got up. "She's actually waiting for you..."

Tomas smiled. "You caused quite a stir kid, actually glad to see you came out okay. Your mom is worried sick and sent me out here to check up on you. If it weren't for this kind lady here you'd be kissing the Valkyries all the way up in Valhala." Tomas gave a slight chuckle and gingerly patted the boy's shoulder. "Instead you're alive and well and about ready to give your mother a big ol' hug. You fought good and hard kid, never forget that inner strength." Tomas gave another smile behind his helmet.

Hoping his pep talk at least lightened the mood he pulled away from the bed to let Vivian have her words with the kid. He was actually pulling up from the depressing mood that seemed to descend on the place and he was happy about it. He heard Thor groan in the back of his head and shook his head slightly. Even pretending to sleep, Thor could burst any soft moment with his complaining.

The boy smiled at Tomas. Vivian started to talk to him again. "I'm sorry for you getting hit. I should apologize to you're mother too..." She said. The boy shakes his head. "No. You help us." He said with a big smile. Vivian felt better from the boys small little words. It was about that time. To avoid anymore injuries, Vivian lifted him from the bed. "Let's take him back to his mother. She's probably worried sick..." She stated to Tomas.

Tomas nodded "Agreed, sides it'd be nice to get out of here. I don't know about you but this place gives me the creeps." Tomas let out a slight shivering motion in his armor hoping this would make the boy laugh. "Anyways it'd be nice to go back into the fresh air and all that good stuff."

In fact he'd rather leave than be caught, he did strong arm his way into the place after all. That and he already had enough trouble having to get here in the first place. Right now he'd rather leave than stick around and get caught.

"Great. Let's go..." Vivian said with a smile. Hopefully after the boy is turned over, she could go after Xeyon and for him to give her some answers.

[Zhon]

[The two characters, Zeke and Bane, are arriving from the Training Room's simulation battle area]

Zeke charges through the room, carrying the reploid, panting heavily, and shouts "He needs some help!" His breath was short from carrying him right after he had finished training. Although he didn't know the reploid, he'd hope he'd be all right. Zeke had never seen a person die before, and he wasn't going to today.
