"Obviously a man brimming with enough energy to leave a trail . . . or . . . no . . . that'd be impossible to think of but close to the truth." Tomas rubbed his chin in thought and looked to Vivian. "Have there been any kind of talk of an energy being? Maybe like a Poltergeist in a way. Cause if anything this thin who's hunting you Vivian is obviously composed of some high form of energy . . . with enough energy to raise the temperature without burning anything and eat away organic matter if one is too close." Tomas looked at the evidence in front of him and concluded that there was not much left to work with. "We have to find a way to track this energy . . . have the hunter become the hunted . . ."

Tomas was obviously deep in thought, he remembered when Baldr was killed by the Missile Toe weapon thanks to Loki. The weapon deployed a small scale nuke and a biological weapon that could be replaced with a weapon to attack Reploids in a biological manner. This was a lot like that, he remembered seeing Baldr become part of a nuclear cloud and his bones turn into dust. His sister, Nanna was near the blast, she had been scarred for life by the matter and tried suicide several times. She was close to her brother and ignored the lust of Loki who wanted her. In a way, Loki had made sure she was untouchable in a sense. But now was not time to think of the past but rather the effect that had. The Nuclear energy combined with the bio weapon caused a chain reaction for Baldr to decompose quickly. Perhaps this was the same.

All of the sudden, the Wind Master came out through the gates and saw the crime scene. Vivian quickly ran over to him. "Master! Why are you out here? I thought you were in an conference?" She asked. The Master took a closer look at the victim and then looked back at Vivian. "Well, it's hard to have a conference with Monks shouting all over the Temple talking about a dead resident of the Temple is dead outside the gates. Anyway Vivian, I know that this was the work of that Man in the Black robe. Judging from what happened to his head, I pretty much know how he did this mess..." The Master said looking at Vivian and at Tomas at the same time.

Vivian was surprised that the Wind Master known how this man did this dirty deed. "Really? How?" She asked him. The Master turned his head the other way from Vivian. "It's...hard to explain and yet it's hard to believe..." He said still not looking at Vivian.

"Sir i've been on this Island less than a year and i've seen things that would make the people back home scared shit-less." Tomas pointed at Vivian. "Her in fact would cause high debate to no end about the moral right and wrongs of having machines in your body." Tomas looked at the Master closely. "In fact, my parents were scientists of a sort and they participated in a event . . . that has changed so much recently." He took a heavy sigh. "If anything we MUST know how he's doing this, and how to track him if at all possible."

The Wind Master looked at Tomas and then put his head down again, closed his eyes, and did a big sigh. "...Alright. But talking about it out here with everyone around will be meaningless. This is something the public should not know about yet...Come to my room and I'll discuss it further." He said as he walked back in the Temple and walking to his room.

Vivian started at him as he went in the Temple. "...Let's go talk to him Tomas." She said still looking at the gates. The other Monks picked up the dead remains of the man and started to carry him inside.

"The universe needs to stop making me onto a yo-yo . . . " He took a deep breath and followed Vivian back in.

Tomas had a lot going on in his mid, it was good that he had gotten out of his armor. Yes what the black robed man did was back but he could imagine Thor doing worse. He could imagine Thor torturing the man instead of killing him, squeezing out every ounce of information and more. He could imagine ten times worse things if he went back home and reported all of this. Men in suits and uniforms calling out "This city is a threat!" and people crying in the streets "NUKE THEM! NUKE THEM! NUKE THEM!" while he and his companions were in the middle. Or he should say, all that was left of his companions.

When they made it back to the Master's room, he was sitting down on the floor with a book in his hand. He looked up and saw them. "This book pretty much explains what the man did or an idea of what he did." He said looking at the book's contents. Vivian walked in and sat down on her knees again. Waiting for the Master to continue.

Tomas normally didn't do this but he walked over and sat with his knees on the floor board. "What does it say on the matter?" He asked between a slight popping sound at the knees.

He was not used to the oriental way of sitting, he had done it once or twice but he never got the hang of it. He preferred to stand or sit in a chair above the ground. He used to be afraid of the ground when he was little because he knew that Spiders and insects used it. That was one of his biggest phobias, the fear of insects and he kept it in check.

"This book was recently written by Professor Gerald White, Vivian's Father. It's very detailed." He said. Vivian was shocked that one of her father's books was here at the Sanctuary. A new one to be exact. She remembered how he used to like reading and writing books.

The Master then continued. "According to this book, he recently discovered some new type of energy. He says that 10 years ago when he was working changing a 7 year old boy into a Cyborg who was about to die, he discovered it. According to Vivian, this boy is Magnus. He had no name for it as it probably already had one so he decided to call it 'The Unknown Energy". This power pretty much is the reason for Magnus's fire abilities. Apparently, the energy can also gives the person some strange supernatural ability to the eyes but they have to be well trained to use them. He tried to take a sample from Magnus's body and test it on a test reploid. The energy rejected the reploid's body and he almost malfunctioned but the prof. quickly removed it..."

The Wind Master read some more then closed the book. "So basically, only someone of Magnus's family can use this energy. Reason being that one, it rejected another reploid, and two, Magnus is a Cyborg so this energy also has mysterious effects that involves his human side too. It is probably something in his genes that makes it so powerful than an average power source. Since Vivian said that Scar fought Magnus and lost, he was probably trying to get this power. If anyone were to get their hands on this energy, they be nearly unstoppable. Even Magnus himself can't even use half of his own power because he'll die from all the flames coming out all at once. Whoever this "Man in the Black Robe" is, he is either related to Magnus, or he's a copy. He's using this dangerous power, which are these "eyes" and is somehow screwing around with a person's mind, causing their head to explode due to all the stress put on the brain. It's especially bad for humans because they are more vulnerable to it. If a reploid or cyborg were caught in these illusions, they will probably just be temporarily stunned or worse....may go Maverick." He said, concluding his explanation.

Vivian just sat there with nothing to say. She had a lot on her mind but she tried not to think too hard.

"How is it made? Hell how is the energy formed? It sounds like some form of bio-chemical energy that can be found in deep sea fish if you want to make a comparison." Figuring he was the only one with knowledge in that area he raised his hands and started to explain. "Okay, certain fish have Bio-luminescence in deep deep water, it's where certain features of their skin glow. They don't neccessarily need it to see, they just use it to fend off predators or in some cases, use it to lure in prey like the Angler Fish." He put his hands together fist into an open palm. "Now imagine that same Bio-Chemical energy in humans or in cyborgs which are a mix of human and machine. Instead of it being Bio-luminescence it's Bio-Energy to the point of a near Nuclear Reaction. He's gotta be leaking some kind of particle as excess, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, doesn't matter it's going to leave a trail." Tomas thought about it for a moment and looked back at the Master. "But here's the puzzling thing . . . if they were going to copy Magnus they'd need to do it before the energy and implants were introduced. And even then it'd take a lot of resources to do so and get the same energy to create the Bio-Chemical reaction . . . and even then it has to be so pin-point it's maddening as to how they have the resources to do so." Tomas paused for emphasis and shrugged. "There is a LOT more going on than we think."

The Wind Master then pondered his thoughts. "The energy was formed when Magnus's soul and whatever that unknown factor in his genes connected to the Cybernetics and became a Cyborg...The only one who truly would know about this mess is the copy himself. You must find him and interrogate him for answers. Although dealing with a dark copy who can perfectly control the Unknown Energy is not an easy task. The two of you won't be able to do it alone. You should find Magnus and also anyone else you might know to help. He's not to be taken lightly..." He said looking at the book again.

Vivian got up from the floor. "Well, if he's that powerful, then does that make the copy stronger than the original?" She asked. The Master closed his eyes and responded. "As in the control over the eyes and the fighting skills then yes....that's why you must find the real Magnus before he meets this copy in battle. He'll get murdered by the copy. However, if Magnus could release the same amount of power, then they'll both just kill each other. Either way, Magnus must never fight this copy by himself or he'll die either way..."

"Then introduce a wild-card." Tomas looked at the Master and Vivian. "Back when i was . . . made what i am now, there were other children who were tested and given drugs for a certain thing they can do. I only learned after i had put down Vili that i had been secretly given some of those drugs due to a hidden potential in my body." Tomas frowned for a moment. "Normally the drugs would have triggered an avalanche in my head, either i start producing powers or i die from the strain, but neither of those happened. In fact it seemed that my body naturally absorbed the drug as though it was natural to my body." He looked at his own hands. "In fact given enough tests i'm pretty sure they could synthesize the drug from my body, they say it was due to something they fed or gave me or how i was raised. But perhaps i was already born naturally gifted? That maybe instead of using powers i can suck 'em up like a straw." Tomas shrugged. "I don't know if that helps you in any way but it's best to give it a shot, maybe you can teach me how to use the potential stored up?"

The Master smiled at Tomas. "Well, if I can teach Vivian how to further use her abilities, then I can help you. It's really a simple task. It doesn't require any complicated tests or trials. Although if you want perfect results, you'll have to constantly train. It may take even months, years, depending on what type of hidden potential it is. Either way, I'm willing to help." He explained.

"Then give me the booster pack dude and set this engine into over-drive i'm eager to see what i can do."

He had heard about stuff like this, about the lucky guy who trains under a master in some odd form of martial arts, becoming stronger and stronger. Except he knew some hand to hand combat already, this was more of a expansion rather than a full on course. In a way, he was making himself stronger by using his weaker aspect than his strongest. The reverse of what Project Valkyrie did to him.

The Wind Master laughed and got off the floor. He walked over to Tomas. "Heh, well could we re-schedule the training later? I should be returning to the conference room as I am late returning. If I can, I can bring up this current situation about the copy of Magnus going around playing serial killer." he asked Tomas.

Tomas nodded and gave a slight bow. "Whatever is best for you, i am only happy knowing i will be helping Vivian."

In a way Vivian had become as much a friend to him as some of his closest companions from Project Valkyrie. He would make sure that Vivian would be well protected than be on the way side. He wanted to protect her and that was what made him different from the others. He had a heart of pure gold with an attitude to selflessly help others even though it often pained him to do so.

The Wind Master nodded and left the room. Vivian started to walk to. "Well, we intentionally came here for rest and it's been a very long day. I'm going to my room to get some sleep. I haven't had any sleep since I left to temple to search for Magnus." She said with her hand on one of the double doors in the Wind Master's room.

Tomas nodded and painfully got up. "Right-o . . . um want me to walk you to your room? Make sure that dude isn't there waiting for you?"

Tomas, even though he knew he was taking precautions can't help but laugh inwardly at himself for the notion. In a way he was treating the situation like a date then a matter of security or anything like that. He was going to need to get a good grip on his emotions. But then again that's what made him such a wild card, his inability to control his emotions. In a way that was his greatest strength.

Vivian shook her head. "That's fine, thanks. It's better to be cautious around here with all the killings." She said. Her room was also not too far from the Wind Master's room. "My room is across the other hallway from this one." She told him.

Tomas smiled slightly, at least she was intelligent. "Ah, well then i take back my silly thought. Either way you get some rest, hopefully things won't be as bad tomorrow."

He would have given her a hug but he didn't want to make what trust there was vaporize. He merely stood there, politely waiting for her to leave for her room. In many ways when he was standing still, he's like a sculpted statue. The years of torment to his body formed muscle that didn't stand out but were hard as stone. His face had slight scars from close shaves and other assorted battles. In a way he was a mix of a soldier and a kind hearted warm man.

Vivian nodded and opened the double doors wider. She started to slowly walk down the hallway to her room.
