After a 30 minute run Tomas skid to a stop to look at the large towers rising to the cloud. There was a silent whistle from both Tomas and Thor as they gazed at the marvels. This was nothing like home where the towers were huge but not monolithic. Tomas almost wanted to go back home from the intimidation of the towers, but he shook it off. Tomas looked around for the pod-like missile and finally found it trenched into 4 feet of solid rock. Tomas rolled his eyed and bent down to the impact hole and stretched his armored body to the limit. He finally caught hold of the stabilizer fins and clamped down with his abnormal strength. Slowly his mechanized body bent and pulled up the missile pod from the ground and put it to one side. Tomas shook his head and got up from the strain and popped open the hatch. Inside was a square storage pod with a combination number pad to the left of the folding door. Tomas lifted the storage crate and with both arms, carried the heavy crate towards a cave in the side of the road and stuck it against a cave wall. After punching in a numerical code the crate opened up to a miniature cache of weapons. Not wanting to over-burden himself, Tomas picked out his trusty Ripper class Hand-Gun "Mjolnir" from several other duplicate Mjolnir guns and fed a full magazine and grenade into the gun. Satisfied as the gun auto-cocked itself he put it to his side and grabbed 3 more 12 round magazines and 5 grenade putting them into a storage compartment where his thigh would be.

"Should be enough, if we need more firepower we can come back to it." Tomas said to himself and Thor uttered a grunt of approval.

Tomas closed the storage crate and the keypad locked the crate down as Tomas went back onto the main road. He brought out the Mjolnir Hand-gun and the red triangle sights popped into his view. He targeted the missile pod with the grenade launcher and corrected his aim and let the grenade fly free. The grenade impacted against the pod and reduced it to melting scrap. He loaded another grenade in and the gun attached to his side again almost magnetically. He turned to the city and decided to take a slow jog and started into the city, hoping his appearance wouldn't cause too much of a ruckus.

After several minutes of running full out, Tomas finally saw his objective and kept up the pace. Some of his muscles were burning but it wasn't a painful burn, more of a pleasurable burn. It felt good to be doing this after a while. He finally spotted his target and jumped up into the air at the last second. He tucked his legs in and began to roll in the air in a projected arc. He was laughing audibly over the speakers and was highly enjoying himself. Thor rolled his eyes as Tomas enjoyed himself and the falling sensation kicked in. After a while Tomas landed into the ground on his shin and created a ball like indent into the ground. After a muffled moan he pushed himself out of the whole and shook himself, letting the rock and gravel come loose off of him. He turned around to watch Vivian take the same route.

Vivian slowed down as she saw Tomas. She ran over to him. "Dammit haha, I lost.....But I told you I wasn't slow..." She said looking at her surroundings.

Tomas was actually surprised she could keep up and put a hand on her shoulder. "Lose? no you exceeded my expectations, at least i know you can pull your weight." He gave a nice relaxing grip and gave two more slight pats. "Let's grab the gear and-" A series of Klaxons flared up in his helmet and he grabbed his gun out of reflex and quickly shoveled a grenade into the launcher.

He knew this warning Klaxon all to well, he had often relied on it when he was training with some of the other children. One in particular would always trigger this alarm because of her armor. It was an alarm on cloaked figures, but that didn't make sense in Tomas's mind. Unless . . . they had cloaking technology of some sort. And the alarm only alerted him that someone was near, not where and how far that person was.

"Vivian!" Tomas called out as he took a gun stance, one hand under the handle and the other gripping the gun tight. "Is there any form of cloaking tech here in Abel City?"

Shadeth slowed down when he finally saw the two stop ahead. He jumped from the rooftop of the low building he landed on and kept to the shadows. He still had his cloaking device activated, but he knew that it worked better the darker it was. He kept an eye on the two, curious as to who they were and considering to challenge them.... But just then...

"Vivian!" The man shouted. "Is there any form of cloaking tech here in Abel City?"

Damnation...! Shadeth thought. He wasn't sure, however, if the man could pinpoint his exact location. He decided to wait before revealing himself.

"Yeah but...why? Is someone here...?!" She said pulling out the Valkyrie. She kept a firm grip on her lance and prepared herself.

Tomas was about to say something but he kept his mouth shut. If the opponent WERE invisible, shouting out that he didn't know where he was would be a bad idea. He looked back and saw the cave where his gear was. They could easily go in and form a barricade, but what if the figure had a grenade of some sort. He looked around and tried to find something he could use. For now he was going to have to bluff the figure into appearing.

"Yes, there is someone here . . . and if they want to live through a Grenade blast they had better come out!" Tomas shouted out, keeping his gun level and checking his flanks and turning around to check behind him.

Vivian kept the same stance as she prepared for the worst. She felt the presence in the air but remained silent.

Shadeth didn't buy into the threat. He had trained in harsh conditions before. He felt confident enough to avoid a grenade barage... that is, if this figure wasn't bluffing. Shadeth then yelled, caausing his voice to echo around area, making it hard to determine his location.

"That was quite a stunt you pulled in town! I'm interested in testing my skills against you two! Do you accept my challenge?!"

"Two against one?" Tomas whispered to Vivian. "That's not exactly a fair fight . . ." Tomas whispered again, judging the decision.

He weighed the pros and cons of the situation, the gears in his head turning rapidly. On the one hand it would be an easy fight to be had and there would hardly be any blood shed. However he didn't know who the person was, nor could he see the person. He decided on being able to see who his opponent was and then judge how to go about the battle.

"Howe about you even the odds and show your face, if this is to be a fair match!" Tomas shouted.

Vivian spins her lance around a few times. "If he is this bold to try to take us both on at once, then he'll get what he deserves....I great beating!" She said back to Tomas.

"Very well then," Shadeth said. He deactivated his cloaking device and walked into the open towards them. His silver scarf and his violet hair waved slightly in the breeze. "I am Shadeth."

Tomas eyed Shadeth, the telltale red triangles flitting about all over the body to find a weak spot. However it was all inconclusive, all made more annoying by what seemed to be twin readings, one bionic and the other Reploid. Tomas knew this would be a challenge and merely let the red triangles target general areas instead of weak spots.

"You said you were watching us? And that you wish to make a challenge? Why do you wish to make a challenge? What purpose would it serve to you?" Tomas asked, holding his gun at the ready.

Shadeth paused. "I must improve. I must test my skill level before I can destroy my enemy."

Tomas blinked and turned his head to the side. "To defeat . . . your enemy?" Tomas understood the idea of defeating ones enemy and improving the body to do so, it was the thought of fighting others which was confusing. "Who is your enemy? Perhaps we can help? I am already helping her with her problems as well." Tomas pointed at Vivian for emphasis. "Perhaps we can work together rather than fight?"

Shadeth shook his head. "No. It's a personal issue." He then paused. "If you don't want to spar I will look elsewhere."

Well that was almost too easy, was Tomas's thought as he put the gun back to his side. He scratched the back of his helmet and almost cursed himself for the action. He looked back to Shadeth and gave a slight shrug and nod.

"Perhaps next time we meet i can provide you with a challenging fight. However, we have places to go at the moment and it involves some heavy equipment." Tomas paused almost reflexively going back to his gun but he stopped himself short. "I would ask for you to leave, i am sorry we cannot provide you at this moment."

Shadeth said nothing. He flipped open a panel on his left arm and pressed a few buttons. In the distance, something could be seen flying towards them. It was a small aerial vehicle. Shadeth's glider, the Shade Falcon, landed in front of him. He jumped into the cockpit and took control. He took one last look at the two before heading elsewhere.

Tomas blinked as the fly went past them and onto it's destination. "Huh . . . interesting way to travel . . . well nevermind that, let's get my gear." Tomas motioned to Vivian for her to follow him.

Nearby the road was the same hole in the rock face he had used earlier to put his gear in. He found the blocky container and pressed the numeric keypad again and the face of the container slid open to reveal what was in it's compartments. There were two big Rifles with the word "Reaper" imprinted upon the side in a light grey along with .50 Cal ammunition that could sheer some armor if the need be. Along with the Rifles were smaller sub-machine guns that looked a bit like the Ripper hand-guns but were longer and had a clip in the front. The text on the machine-guns read "Maelstrom" and had the same .50 Cal ammunition as the Ripper hand-guns. The rest was 3 duplicates of Tomas's hand-gun along with three of the Ripper hand guns and boxes of magazined ammo and grenade rounds with normal grenades. Tomas took out two grenade rounds and put them in the holster area along with the rest of the Ammo.

"Just until things get dicey." Tomas muttered and stepped back to let Vivian have a look.

Vivian raised an eyebrow as she looks at the equipment and spoke to herself. All this equipment and weapons...Kind of makes me feel weak" She looks around her surroundings just to make sure Shadeth didn't come back and surprise attack them.
